Two men, engrossed in a pornographic film, had their throats slit before they could even react, while another collapsed peacefully in his sleep.
The monitoring room was thus quietly taken over by Chu Xingyue and her two companions.
Gu Yanci and Chu Jiaojiao were in charge of guarding the area, while Chu Xingyue pulled up all the internal surveillance footage, her mind racing.
"It seems we're in for a tough battle," Chu Xingyue muttered to herself as she looked at the scenes in several of the rooms.
What we need to do now is to resolve the security issues here as one by one as possible.
Looking at the unbearable scenes on the surveillance footage, Chu Xingyue wished she could blow up the place right now.
"Now we can only try to take them down one by one." Chu Xingyue's fingers flew across the monitor.
With the final key pressed, Chu Xingyue turned around and stood inside the door with the two of them, waiting for the security guards who had just received the order to come over one by one.
The sound of leather boots clattering came from afar. Chu Xingyue took a step back, and there was a knock on the door.

The door was flung open instantly, and before the person outside could react, they were pulled inside by a hand reaching out from inside.
And so, Chu Xingyue stared at the monitor, watching the security guards on duty at each door come one by one, until the not-so-large monitoring room was full of people.
"An'an, how much is left?"
"An'an, if anyone else comes, we won't be able to fit them all in here."
Gu Yanci and Chu Jiaojiao spoke in succession.
"Wait a minute," Chu Jiaojiao said, staring at the monitor. Two of the security guards at the door hadn't moved after receiving the order.
There are no security cameras in either of the rooms. What's going on?
Just as the three were wondering what was going on, they finally saw the door open and a muscular man walk out. As he came out, he turned his back to the security camera and whispered something to the two people at the door.
The two men, guns in hand, turned and left. The man at the door turned around, and that one glance sent a bad feeling through the hearts of the three who had been watching the surveillance cameras.
"Have we been discovered?"
"It seems so."
"uh-huh"
The three of them looked at each other.
"Don't stay here, get out. Now that we've been discovered, I think they'll take action soon," Gu Yanci said to Chu Xingyue and Chu Jiaojiao.
"I have no objection."
"Hmm," Chu Xingyue also thought that now that they had been discovered, there was no point in hiding in the shadows.
"Let's go out and meet them, but be careful."
Before leaving, Chu Xingyue made a copy, quickly copying everything that was happening in the lab. There was no point in keeping it; she destroyed it to prevent future problems.
The three men, guns in hand, opened the door and walked out.
As soon as I opened the door, a man came out from around the corner on the right and immediately raised his hand.

The three cautiously approached the corner. The man pressed against the wall was breathing heavily, his hands gripping the gun.
The group bent down and approached the man lying on the ground. Chu Jiaojiao bent down, picked up the pistol that had fallen not far away, and tucked it into her waistband. "Keep it safe! Even a mosquito's leg is still meat."
When Chu Xingyue and the other two turned around, they made eye contact with the man who was pressed against the wall and holding a pistol.
Why does this security guard look a bit dull?
She stared at the three of them, muttering something under her breath, then pointed her gun at them and fired a shot.
"How could someone like that get here? He must have some connections."
Chu Jiaojiao looked at the man lying on the ground with a surprised expression, as if he were an idiot.
Bending down, he pulled the gun out of the man's hand.
"Tch, they didn't even open the safety catch."
Chu Xingyue and Gu Yanci were also a little surprised. Could it be that Jiaojiao had really guessed who the person was related to?
"Be careful, it's a bit too quiet."
Chu Xingyue's heart raced; she sensed some danger approaching.
All the electronic doors in the rooms were unlocked before Chu Xingyue went to the monitoring room, except for the two rooms that she had seen in the monitoring footage earlier.
Now, apart from those two rooms, the entire room is completely unobstructed for the three of them.
As they cleaned room by room, the three witnessed only ever-worsening cruelty.
Several of the rooms were so large that even a grown man like Gu Yanci almost threw up.
These researchers have become utterly inhuman. Chu Xingyue and her two companions felt no mercy as they looked at the researcher kneeling and begging for mercy. People like this wouldn't do anything good once they left the field; they were simply insane.
Wherever the three went, they didn't see a single non-human creature that still retained human consciousness. Some died directly on the operating table, while others showed no signs of life.
Each large, transparent glass contained various specimens, some resembling human organs, others animal organs, which sent chills down the spine of anyone who looked at them.
Chu Xingyue, who was walking ahead and fully on guard, suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong, An'an?"
Chu Jiaojiao asked a question.
"Listen, something is getting closer quickly."
The three hid behind a large glass containing specimens, carefully trying to pinpoint the direction from which the sound was coming.
A burly man, shirtless and wearing only shorts, charged towards the three from the opposite direction.
This immediately made the three men grip their guns even tighter.
Looking at them, they didn't seem as strange as they had just seen; they looked like normal people, just a bit taller and more robust.
Judging from Chu Xingyue's perspective, it must be at least 2.3 or 2.4 meters tall.
The speed and movement it made when it ran over were completely unlike what one would expect from a person of its size; it was very agile.
The big guy stood still in the open space, looked around, but didn't find anything.
The three of them did not relax and kept a close eye on the big guy's movements. They saw the big guy tilt his head slightly and twitch his nose.
Suddenly, he clenched his fist and ran quickly towards Gu Yanci's direction; he had been discovered.
Knowing he had been discovered, Gu Yanci tensed up and prepared for battle.
Gu Yanci definitely couldn't withstand that punch. Chu Xingyue and Chu Jiaojiao exchanged a glance, then threw their guns back. One of them ran towards the big guy, and the other ran towards Gu Yanci.
The burly man, clenching his fists, quickly spotted Chu Xingyue charging towards him. Chu Xingyue didn't confront the burly man head-on, knowing that a direct confrontation without knowing his strength would be tantamount to suicide.
The big guy's attention was drawn to Chu Xingyue, while Gu Yanci was pulled behind him by Chu Jiaojiao who rushed over.
The two watched carefully as Chu Xingyue dodged the big guy's attacks.
Chu Jiaojiao looked anxiously at Chu Xingyue, while Gu Yanci knew that this was not a good time to go up and help.
Chu Xingyue's side
Seeing that the fist that had been thrown back could be pulled back so quickly, Chu Xingyue knew that this big guy was definitely not to be underestimated.
After several rounds, Chu Xingyue basically figured out the big guy's attack patterns. Using her lightness, she quickly created trouble for him. After pulling out the dagger tucked in her leg, Chu Xingyue felt it was necessary to test his limits.
With the dagger tucked under her wrist, she launched a swift attack, instantly revealing the dagger. Sensing the approaching danger, the burly man raised his arm to block Chu Xingyue's dagger.
