At noon, Chu Xingyue and Chu Jiaojiao went to the main house and brought their great-grandparents over.
"We're only able to taste your sister-in-law's cooking today thanks to An'an and Jiaojiao," Chu Yi teased with a smile.
"Look what my brother said, he likes what I make. I have time to make it for you every day, as long as my brother and sister-in-law don't find me troublesome."
"Don't do that, you're too old and frail. We have a housekeeper, you don't need to lift a finger, just cook occasionally."
Jiang Yun patted Su Jin's hand and glanced at the old man Chu Yi.
"Ignore your older brother, he can't speak properly. Aren't you tired? You're not allowed to do it at home by yourself anymore, understand? If you really want to do it, ask Auntie for help."
Jiang Yun said to Su Jin with a stern face.
"I know, sister-in-law. The children came back and said they hadn't tasted my cooking in a long time, so I cooked."
Su Jin made no mention of the fact that the fish was originally intended to be brought to the main house to make soup, but she was afraid that Chu Xingyue would make a move, so she quickly burned it to avoid any complications.

This made Chu Yi's eyes light up, as she had been staring at the braised pork. She quickly picked up a piece with her chopsticks, the one she had been able to only look at while eating plain rice.
Everyone burst into laughter, especially Chu Jiaojiao, who was laughing so hard she was bent over.
Chu Yi watched as everyone started laughing.
"What are you laughing at? Eat up, or it'll get cold."
He put a piece of meat in his mouth, squinted his eyes in satisfaction, and muttered, "So delicious!"
