These past few days, besides physical training, all I've done is stand in formation, and when I get back to the dorm, I still have to tidy up my belongings.
We've started learning about gunnery equipment these past couple of days. Every student is very attentive.
Starting today I'm learning how to disassemble.
"We are all born under the national flag and raised under its flag. Our country is a country that prohibits the use of firearms. You have been admitted to military academies and come to the military region. After graduation, you will be assigned to a company or even go to the front line battlefield."
"A gun! It represents our soldiers' responsibility to defend our country!"
"On the battlefield, guns are our second life!"
"Remember! On the battlefield! The gun is your most loyal comrade-in-arms! It is our second life."
"The guns you are holding now each have their own number. From the moment you receive them, they will accompany you for four years."
"Keep a good eye on the guns you have. Anyone who loses a gun or maliciously damages it, causing serious consequences, will be dealt with according to military law."
"Did everyone understand?"
Jiang Wang roared at all the students on the field.
"clear!"
"Your voice is too soft, I can't hear you, speak louder!" Jiang Wang shouted at the group of freshmen.
Jiang Wang was startled by the shout of "Understood!" and took a deep breath.
"Let me take the disassembly of a hand gun as an example."
"Remember this: the first thing we need to do when dismantling the gun is to take out the magazines."
"Grip the handle with your right hand, press the spring clip with your thumb, and take out the magazine with your left hand."
Jiang Wang demonstrated with his hands as he spoke.
Everyone was watching intently.
Some people watched, but their thoughts wandered elsewhere, like Chu Xingyue, who had done these things countless times in her past life.
"The next step is to remove the sleeve."
"Grip the handle with your right hand, and with your left hand pull the trigger guard down and push it slightly to one side, pressing it against the sleeve seat. Then, with your left hand, pull the sleeve back to the designated position, and then pull the rear of the sleeve up. Using the tension of the recoil spring, release the sleeve forward."
"Then remove the recoil spring, grip the handle with your right hand, and remove the recoil spring with your left hand..."
Jiang Wang explained as he spoke.
Jiang Wang looked up at everyone.
"All teams will now begin learning in turn, with each class leader providing guidance."
The entire afternoon was spent learning through disassembly; no one felt the time was long, it just seemed to fly by.
During their evening rest, the top students rubbed their sore arms and mentally reviewed the disassembly of the wooden gun.
And so, as the recap continued, Jiao Jiao fell into a deep sleep.
Tired, but fulfilled.
Today everyone will be disassembling the machine. Last night, some people fell asleep while reviewing the game, while others were still reviewing the game in their dreams.
"Has anyone volunteered to come up and demonstrate today? Let me see your results from yesterday." Jiang Wang looked at the students opposite him.
"Report! I'm here."
"Good, that's very courageous."
The first to step forward was the confident Ge Jun.
Standing in front of the display table, Ge Jun picked up the pistol on the table and began to unload the magazine.
The movements were fast, almost fluid and graceful.
The disassembled parts were placed on the table and then quickly put back together.
It left the other viewers completely bewildered.
"Is this Ge Jun?" "Yes, Instructor." Ge Jun stood up straight, puffed out his chest, and answered loudly.
Such a loud noise made Jiang Wang feel like this guy was showing off.
There was a hint of smugness in his voice, but Jiang Wang had to admit that Ge Jun's performance was no worse than that of the new recruits.
I heard he's from a military family; truly a son of a general.
