国科大正门口拉起了欢迎新生的横幅，门口络绎不绝的学生跟家长。
At the main gate, some families were happily taking photos to commemorate the occasion, while others were hugging each other and crying with reluctance. Still others were pushing their suitcases and carrying their bags into the campus alone.
Despite their deep reluctance, parents still want their children to fly solo, for the vast sky is ultimately for them to explore on their own.
Chu Jiaojiao and Xia Yiyang said goodbye to their elders at home today. The two of them took a car to school together. When they saw the scene at the school gate, neither of them felt much.
What makes the two of them happiest now is that after being separated from their sister for so many days, they can finally be together again, and they quicken their pace as they push their luggage.
"Jiaojiao, look, isn't that Sister An'an?" Xia Yiyang patted Chu Jiaojiao, who was standing next to him.
Still lost in thought, Chu Jiaojiao looked up in the direction Xia Yiyang was pointing.
Chu Xingyue, dressed in a school uniform, stood not far away. Her appearance and overall demeanor were so striking that it was impossible to ignore her.
Chu Jiaojiao screamed, dropped her luggage, and ran towards Chu Xingyue. Chu Xingyue happily opened her arms when she saw her younger sister running towards her.
The students passing by heard Chu Jiaojiao's shout and looked at her. They saw her running towards a pretty girl who was trying to open her arms, and then directly wrapping her legs around the pretty girl's slender waist. Despite the force of the impact, the pretty girl only took a step back. No wonder it's the University of Science and Technology of China; even such a pretty girl is so strong.
"An'an, I've missed you so much these past few days. Do you miss me?" Chu Xingyue patted Chu Jiaojiao's pert bottom, gesturing for her to get down.
"I've thought about it, I've thought about it. How are you? Is everything alright at home?" Chu Xingyue was completely different from the mature and composed girl she was in front of her teachers. She was just a sweet and demure young girl.
Xia Yiyang, who was running past pushing two people's luggage, stopped in front of Chu Xingyue. "I also want to hang on my sister." The little voice in Xia Yiyang's heart was tearfully tearing at a small handkerchief.
"Xiao Yang, welcome to school!" Chu Xingyue generously gave the little boy a loving hug.
Xia Yiyang, who had just been biting her handkerchief, felt as comfortable as a cat with ruffled fur being stroked by its owner.
"Sister An'an, I've been taking good care of my younger sister and the elders at home." His eagerness for praise made Chu Xingyue laugh.
"Good job! I knew our Xiao Yang was a responsible man. Thank you for your hard work!" Chu Xingyue patted Xia Yiyang on the shoulder in affirmation.
It's essential to affirm obedient children.
"Come on, let me show you around and let you check into your dorms and unpack." He said, taking Chu Jiaojiao's suitcase from Xia Yiyang's hand.
Chu Jiaojiao, bouncing around, was chattering away with Chu Xingyue, while Xia Yiyang followed behind, occasionally chiming in with his own words.
On a hot summer day, the trio's joy radiated outwards, and everyone who passed by could feel their happiness.
Chu Jiaojiao led the two to the freshman registration office, where they received small tags for collecting daily necessities. The senior students at the registration office looked at Chu Jiaojiao's tag and saw that she had collected her supplies.
Tell Chu Jiaojiao that she needs to pick up her dormitory key from the dormitory supervisor.
Chu Xingyue understood immediately; they must be roommates now. The principal was reliable after all.
Xia Yiyang and I also finished the registration. The three of us went to Chu Jiaojiao's place first and then to Xia Yiyang's dormitory. Today's registration involved senior students helping junior students and senior students helping junior students, so only in the first day or two of registration could people of the opposite sex enter and leave the dormitory building.
