"Please come in," Ye Xiaoxiao greeted with a smile.
The woman walked into the shop, her eyes scanning the space before finally catching sight of Li Chenyang busy at the repair counter in the back. Her eyes lit up: "This must be the repairman, right?"
Li Chenyang was repairing a radio when he heard the voice and looked up: "Yes, is there something you need?"
"My 14-inch black and white TV always has static, and I can't fix it no matter how I adjust the settings."
As the woman spoke, a look of worry appeared on her face.
"I'm raising my child alone and I don't know anything about these things. If you can fix it, I'll definitely thank you properly."
The woman deliberately tossed her long hair as she spoke.
Ye Xiaoxiao sensed a hidden meaning in the woman's words and carefully examined her.
As she spoke, her gaze remained fixed on Li Chenyang, and her every move exuded a captivating charm.
"What is your surname? Where do you live?" Ye Xiaoxiao asked.
"My surname is Jiang, and my name is Jiang Yumei. I live on Chunming Road, across from Xingfu Residential Area."
Jiang Yumei answered, then turned her gaze to Ye Xiaoxiao, "Are you the owner of this shop?"
"Yes, I'm his wife," Ye Xiaoxiao said with a smile, her tone calm but with a hint of deliberate emphasis.
Jiang Yumei's expression changed slightly, but she quickly regained her composure. However, when she looked at Li Chenyang, there seemed to be a hint of surprise in her eyes.
"Oh, it's the proprietress! I heard from my neighbor that you're good at repairing TVs, so I came here specifically to find you."
Li Chenyang put down his work and wiped his hands:
"Then I'll go with you to take a look. Xiaoxiao, I'll be right back."
"Okay, be careful on the road," Ye Xiaoxiao replied.
Jiang Yumei led Li Chenyang out, and Ye Xiaoxiao watched from behind, feeling that the woman's gait was a bit too swaying.
