Chapter 134 is coming

Qin Wan came out of the police station and did not go to the mountain again, but returned to her courtyard.

In the middle of the night, Qin Wan was just feeling sleepy and was about to go to sleep when she suddenly heard a faint sound coming from the yard. She guessed that it must be Lu Yu coming.

Sure enough, when Qin Wan sat up from the bed, a "ding" sound came from the window, followed by Lu Yu's magnetic and low voice:

"Wanwan, it's me!"

Qin Wan opened the door for him and let him in before asking, "Where is the man you caught?"

Lu Yu said, "He was sent to a place for trial."

"Who is he?"

"From what I can see, he should be a spy."

Lu Yu said. He knew that telling Qin Wan the identity of that person would be considered a disclosure of his mission, but since the organization asked him to use Qin Wan's marriage to him, then Qin Wan had the right to know.

Qin Wan was shocked when she heard this. She hadn't expected spies to appear in the village, and Lu Yu and his team's mission this time was to capture them. She looked at Lu Yu, her eyes revealing a sense of worry and concern.

"Lu Yu, are you okay? Those spies didn't hurt you, did they?" Qin Wan asked with concern.

Lu Yu smiled and said, "I'm fine, don't worry. There are seven of us on this mission, and everyone is cooperating very well, so there shouldn't be any mistakes."

Qin Wan felt a little relieved after hearing this. However, she was still a little uneasy. She knew that the appearance of the spy meant that there might be a greater crisis hidden in the village.

"Lu Yu, who are those spies? Why did they come to the village?" Qin Wan couldn't help but ask.

Lu Yu was silent for a moment, then said, "Those spies were sent by a reactionary force in Taiwan. Their goal is to undermine the stability and development of our village. I need to report the specific situation to my superiors before I can learn more."

Qin Wan nodded, but her heart grew even more worried. She knew the seriousness of this matter far exceeded her imagination. She looked at Lu Yu, wanting to say something, but not knowing how to start.

Lu Yu seemed to see Qin Wan's worry. He patted her hand gently and said, "Qin Wan, don't worry. With us here, the village will be safe. You just need to do your own thing and protect the safety of yourself and the villagers."

Qin Wan nodded slightly.

Chen Yu continued, "I still need to go out and discuss this action plan with my comrades. Wanwan, I'm leaving now. Do you have anything to say to me?"

"No more. Take care."

"Take care of yourself."

As he spoke, Chen Yu had already stood up and walked towards the door.

The next morning, Qin Wan got up before daybreak. After a quick wash and breakfast, she hurried to the brigade headquarters.

"Qin Zhiqing!"

Qin Wan had just arrived at the brigade headquarters when she heard a low voice calling her. She turned and saw it was a little girl from the village named Shi Xiaoyu. Her father had long since passed away, and her mother had remarried, leaving her and her five-year-old brother alone. Qin Wan had seen her several times in the mountains.

"Xiaoyu, what's wrong?"

"I have something for you..."

"What?"

"This is a piece of paper I found. Do you think it's useful?" Shi Xiaoyu said as he pulled out a piece of paper the size of a baby's palm from his pocket. The paper was a remnant of something that had been burned, and on it were the words "Five PM".

Shi Xiaoyu handed the piece of paper to Qin Wan and said, "Shi Zhiqing, this is a piece of paper that Widow Wang left behind when she burned paper money for her husband. Can you see if it can be used?"

"Why did you give me the paper? What do you know?" Qin Wan's tone became stern. Anyone, let alone him, would feel uneasy if they were suddenly stopped and given a piece of paper.

Shi Xiaoyu was also startled: "Qin Zhiqing, let me tell you,"

Then, Shi Xiaoyu talked about how she discovered the piece of paper.

That day, Shi Xiaoyu went up the mountain to collect firewood. When she came back, she found Widow Wang, who was burning money at her man's grave.

Shi Xiaoyu hid aside because he was afraid that Widow Wang would scold him as a disaster star who killed his parents.

Suddenly, she found that Widow Wang took out a piece of paper and threw it into the fire. Shi Xiaoyu's heart skipped a beat, thinking that this might be a letter from Widow Wang about her relationship with a strange man.

After Widow Wang left, Shi Xiaoyu walked over carefully and used a branch to push away the ashes that had not yet completely burned, revealing the slightly burnt piece of paper.

Although the edge of the paper had been licked by the flames, the words on it were still faintly visible.

She squinted her eyes, trying to make out the blurry words.

"...hidden under the old locust tree in the back mountain..." The words on the paper were intermittent, as if it was an unfinished hint or secret message.

Shi Xiaoyu's heart was filled with a wave of curiosity. This sudden discovery made him both curious and nervous. Why would Widow Wang burn such a mysterious piece of paper here? What secrets were hidden behind this?

She looked around and found no other sound except the rustling of leaves in the wind. She confirmed that Widow Wang had indeed left.

Shi Xiaoyu took a deep breath, carefully put the piece of paper away and hid it in his clothes, planning to come back later to explore the secret of "under the old locust tree in the back mountain" mentioned on the piece of paper.

On the way home, Shi Xiaoyu's mind was full of doubts, yet she also felt a faint sense of excitement, as if she had accidentally been involved in an unknown adventure.
