Lu Yu said to the three women, "Go and rest! Leave this to me."
When Aunt Zhang and Aunt Yu heard this, they quickly waved their hands to refuse. However, Lu Yu was very firm. He explained seriously:
"I have been away from home for a long time. During this period, it was the ladies who worked hard to take care of the housework. I am really grateful to you. So today I must show my appreciation by performing well."
