Chapter 554 Solving the Problem

Qin Wan asked the children: "If you encounter a similar situation, how would you deal with it?"

The quadruplets looked at each other, you looked at me, I looked at you, and then they all lowered their heads at the same time, as if they had done something wrong, not daring to look others in the eye.

As time passed, the air seemed to freeze.

After a long while, Qin Wan broke the silence and asked again:

"Children, are there any of you willing to take the initiative to talk about the results of your reflection?"

Her eyes slowly swept over each child, but the four little guys just looked up at each other silently, and then lowered their heads again like deflated balls.

Seeing this, Qin Wan sighed helplessly and said:

"Since no one has taken the initiative to come forward and reflect on the results, then Mom will have to call out the names! Sanbao, tell me, if you want to borrow something from Sibao and Sibao refuses, what will you do?"

Upon hearing this, Sanbao looked up at Qin Wan, then glanced at Sibao beside him, a thoughtful look on his face. He licked his lips and answered seriously:

"Mom, if Sibao doesn't lend it to me, I will first ask him why he doesn't want to lend it to me, whether he also likes that thing very much, or if he has any special reasons.

Then, I will try to discuss with him and see if we can find a solution that we can both accept.

For example, I could exchange something of mine with him, or I could promise to play with his things carefully and return them to him immediately after playing with them.

After listening to this, Qin Wan nodded with satisfaction.

"Very good, Sanbao, your answer makes Mom very happy." Qin Wan stroked Sanbao's head and continued, "Remember, whether at home or outside, when you encounter problems, more communication and more understanding are always the best ways to solve them.

Now, it's Sibao's turn. What will you do if Sanbao doesn't lend you his toys?

Sibao thought for a moment and said in a baby voice:

"Then I...then I won't play with his toys. I'll play with my own, or...or I'll ask mom to buy me a new one."

Qin Wan smiled. Although Sibao's answer was a little childish, it also revealed that he had learned to accept and find alternative solutions.

She encouraged:

"Sibao is also great. He has learned to be flexible and think independently. However, Mom still hopes that you can share and cooperate more, so that you can have more happiness and friendship."

After asking Sanbao and Sibao, Qin Wan turned her gaze to Erbao and said, "Second brother, you can tell me something too."

When Erbao heard his mother calling his name, his body trembled slightly. He slowly raised his head, looked at his mother timidly, then quickly lowered his head and stammered:

"Mom...Mom, I know I was wrong.

I shouldn't steal my brother's things. If I really want to play with something, I can always exchange my own toys with my brother.

Or I can ask big brother to let me play with it; if all else fails, I can ask big brother if he wants something else and then find a way to satisfy his request.

But I went straight to grab Big Brother's things. This is clearly bullying by relying on my own strength!"

Among the quadruplets, Erbao is the strongest and is also good at fighting.

After Qin Wan heard Er Bao's answer, she did not immediately judge whether it was right or wrong. Instead, she looked at Er Bao with a gentle gaze and asked softly:

"If that person wasn't your older brother, would you still choose to fight for that toy car?"

Erbao shook his head without hesitation to express his disapproval.

Seeing Erbao's reaction, Qin Wan smiled slightly and said earnestly:

"That's right! The most important thing between family members is to respect and care for each other. Although this toy car is fun, the deep friendship between brothers is much more precious."

Then, Qin Wan continued to teach Erbao patiently:

"You can't just act as you please without any scruples just because you're your brother's younger brother.

You can't take your brother's things for granted and regard them as your own without considering their feelings. This is very inappropriate."

Then, Qin Wan further inspired Erbao to think from another's perspective. She said:

"Think about it carefully. If your eldest brother treated everything that belongs to you as if it were his own, playing with it whenever he wanted and taking it away whenever he wanted, without considering your wishes at all, would you be happy?"

Qin Wan paused, giving Erbao some time to digest these words, and then added:

"So, we must learn to put ourselves in other people's shoes. If you're not willing to accept something, others won't be willing to accept it either. You must pay more attention to this aspect in the future."

Hearing this, Erbao lowered his head silently, and rubbed the corners of his clothes with his little hands a little nervously, as if he was thinking very seriously about every word Qin Wan said.

After a long while, as if time had stood still, he slowly raised his head.

At this moment, his originally dull eyes suddenly flashed with an extremely determined light, like the brightest stars in the night sky.

"Mom, I really realize the mistake I made. From now on, I will never again be so unreasonable and take anything from my brother!"

Erbao said this seriously, his tone firm and unquestionable.

Hearing this, Qin Wan's heart, which had been hanging in the air, finally settled down, and a relieved smile appeared on her face involuntarily.

She reached out her hand, gently stroked Erbao's soft hair, and responded softly:

"My dear son, I believe you can do what you say. Now, go and apologize sincerely to your brother."

Erbao nodded without hesitation, then walked towards Dabao, bowed deeply to him, and said:

"I'm sorry, brother."

Dabao obviously didn't expect Erbao to apologize so sincerely. He was stunned for a moment, but then he quickly came to his senses and smiled brightly. He responded generously:

"It's okay, brother! Don't take it to heart, let's play with this toy car together!"

As he spoke, Dabao slowly extended the toy car he was holding tightly in his hand towards Erbao.

When Erbao saw this, a happy smile immediately broke out on his face. He ran forward quickly and carefully took the toy car from Dabao.

After getting the toy car, Erbao did not rush to play with it. Instead, he turned around and walked to his crib and gently placed the toy car on the bed.

Then he squatted down, opened the drawer of his bedside table and started rummaging inside.
