The commotion on Crescent Island continued until after dark.
After dark, the sea surface looks almost the same color, but eyewitnesses know that the sea surrounding Crescent Island is dark red.
It's been quite a while. The Kraken tentacles are now tasked with piling up all the corpses of the abominations on Crescent Island.
Despite surrounding the island with tentacles, many of the abominations manage to escape its boundaries, but few actually manage to escape alive.
Most of them will die in distant seas, and these need to be towed back to Crescent Moon Island.
Kraken's appetite is among the largest of all alchemical creatures. If you exclude the Void Patrolman and the Kun, it's next in line. This is a rare opportunity to eat the abomination to its heart's content, so it certainly won't hold back.
That's one of the advantages of being sent on "business trips" abroad: the lord allows you to enjoy a portion of the spoils, which is beneficial for your attempt to reach the Gold rank.
The siren's terrifying feeding process sent chills down the spines of Nay and the Dalos. Not only were the tentacles horrifying in appearance, but the gaping maws at their tips were enough to give anyone a nightmare.
Nayi Star has three satellites, but because of their different orbital angles, only two moons are usually visible on nights.
The same is true tonight.
Two bright moons, one large and one small, hung in the sky, one in the south and one in the north, and the clear, cloudless sky provided excellent visibility for Crescent Moon Island.
Several tentacles wrapped around the corpses of several flying beasts, carrying them to the surface of the sea.
As large amounts of seawater poured down, tentacles swung the corpses toward the island.
"Bang!" "Bang!"
The entire island seemed to be trembling slightly.
At this time of day, the Nay and Daros people who have already landed on the island can't help but shudder.
Because the mineral salts on the island (salts here are used in general, not referring to sodium chloride on Earth) are so important to the Nayi people, they can't resist coming up to collect them even in this bloody environment.
After all, there was no longer any real threat to their lives.
The Dalos people simply didn't want to be alone in the seawater filled with the blood of the mutated creatures; who knows if they would get infected or mutate or something.
"Clack, clack, clack~~~"
"Sizzle~~"
...
These creaking and tearing sounds are the sounds of the abomination's corpse being crushed and torn apart.
It gives me goosebumps.
A dozen or so unknown monsters, each the size of a mountain of flesh, lay dead not far away, their numerous tentacles coiled around them like basilisks.
With a gentle stir, the devouring beast in Nayi's eyes would be crushed or cut apart, with the sounds of bones shattering and muscles tearing being the main melody.
"Hiss~~"
"Roar~~"
That was the sound of Kraken tentacles. Their enormous, pointed mouthparts opened their petals, which were covered in sharp teeth, and devoured the torn flesh, chewing it casually before swallowing it.
The Nay and Dalos people could clearly see, under the moonlight, that the tentacles would swell up in sections to deliver the "food," like the undulations of a human throat.
With hundreds of giant snake-like tentacles vying to swallow, it sometimes gives the impression that the tentacles themselves are fighting for something.
It doesn't seem like there's only one god race at all; it's more like a hunting ground for a bunch of monsters.
The Dalos even thought this siren was more like a demon than a demon itself.
Every time this terrifying scene continued for a while, a high-frequency microwave vibration would appear on the nearby sea surface.
Numerous water droplets bounced on the water's surface as if they were evaporating.
"Woo~ Roar~~"
A deep, resonant sound emanated from the depths of the water, rising directly to the surface—a joyful roar emanating from the true head of the Kraken.
From initial concerns about whether the siren could defeat the Devourer, to later shock, to fear of the Sex Guardian, and now to a numb mix of apprehension and apathy.
My emotions went through a lot of ups and downs, but fortunately, the outcome was favorable.
Now I have the leisure to deal with my own needs.
The Nayi people who came along were strong and didn't feel it; they were satisfied just by licking some while digging for mineral salt.
But after a day and a half of fleeing, falling, and being terrified, the Darlos were exhausted and their hunger was relentless.
The thought of eating immediately brought to mind the ferocious state of the "divine" sea monster, and I felt nauseous and hungry at the same time churning the digestive juices in my stomach.
However, they then realized they had no equipment to analyze the planet's environmental data, and they didn't even dare to take off their spacesuits, let alone eat.
The spaceship crash crisis, the pursuit by the monstrous creatures, the blood sacrifice incident—they've escaped all of that. Wouldn't it be too pathetic to starve to death?
Then we have no choice but to ask for help.
These natives are clearly unreliable. Just by seeing the Nayi people licking the open-air minerals, you can tell what kind of scientific literacy these uncivilized folks have. They probably don't even know what bacteria and viruses are.
In that case, we can only turn to the Protoss for help.
For the moment, they dared not open their mouths to disturb the siren's feeding process, lest they be swallowed up as a condiment.
Finally, after an unknown period of time, the terrifying tearing and swallowing sounds finally ended.
The Nayi people were satisfied with collecting enough mineral salts. They used an organ under their palms to secrete a kind of mucous membrane to wrap all the mineral salts, presumably to prevent them from being directly dissolved by seawater.
"Um... Great Divine Sea Monster, we are soldiers of the Dalos Empire. We were accidentally stranded on this planet, um..."
The captain, speaking with a forced smile, was already drenched in sweat inside his spacesuit, because the enormous monster's head had surfaced on the sea, and they could feel it staring at them.
"Um... our bodies aren't as strong as the great gods, and we might not be able to adapt to this planet's environment. Could you please help us...?"
A low, resonant wave of consciousness suddenly reached the hearts of all the Dalos people.
“I know you, Dalos, are the children of Lord Siclovis.”
The other Dalos seemed somewhat bewildered; the name had also been mentioned by the godlike observer from before.
I vaguely felt that there was a very important connection between myself and it.
The captain and Gudo were shocked once again. It was Siclovis again!
However, the siren seemed unaware of the Dalos's thoughts and continued speaking.
"You don't need to worry about the viruses and bacteria on this planet. The Dalos people's immune system can quickly adapt to normal conditions. They are not easily exposed to a few deadly viruses. At most, they will have a fever for a while. But remember to cook your food thoroughly. Don't eat raw food like the Nayi people."
You eat raw food yourself, don't you...?
One of the Dalos people couldn't help but mutter a complaint in his mind.
As expected, the gods not only evolved their bodies to an incredible degree, but also possessed considerable knowledge.
