In Freddy's dream world, in a place resembling an abandoned factory, Freddy is playing with a sharp knife in his hand.
Actually, it doesn't necessarily only appear in people's dreams when they are truly asleep.
When a person is tired to a certain extent, it can briefly appear in that person's sight in the form of a hallucination.
And when a person is so tired that they can hardly resist falling asleep, especially if that person is also afraid of Freddy, Freddy can even put that person into a dream.
This world is clearly set up based on the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and similar scenes appear in the plot.
In his own world, Freddy was clearly very confident in his safety; the unknown demon from last night, though powerful, was still dragged to its death by him.
And thanks to this demon, Freddy is now stronger than ever before.
It amplifies a person's feelings as soon as they feel tired, and even closing their eyes to rest for a while might cause them to fall asleep immediately, only to be caught by Freddy.
Because of this same demon, Freddy is still a powerful monster even after being dragged into reality.
Nancy and the other three were exhausted, and due to Freddy's influence, they would occasionally fall into a semi-conscious state.
At this moment, while Freddy was playing with his blade, he was also watching the twenty people in the room with a grin through Nancy and the others who were dozing off.
It recognized those sixteen people; they were delicious prey, their allure even comparable to its favorite, Nancy.
One of them was a woman named Chris, whom Freddy had already tasted, and he really wanted to cut her open from underneath with his sharp scissor hands.
"Yo yo~ My lovely prey, are you sleepy~"
...
Andy, the bearded man, stayed up all night last night. He could have rested during the day, but due to the arrival of Nancy and the other four characters from the story, no one slept for the time being.
Moreover, having just learned that Freddy had eaten the demon's corpse, they wondered how much stronger he would become, making it even more difficult for everyone to fall asleep.
After the chilling news, the suite fell silent for a moment.
A wave of drowsiness washed over him, and Andy couldn't help but close his eyes and yawn.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself sitting at a desk.
"Huh? What's going on?"
The voice sounded very childish, and upon looking at the hands and feet, I was startled.
These are hardly the hands and feet of an adult.
Looking around, he saw dilapidated rooms, old tables and chairs, and graffiti on the walls. This was the orphanage where he grew up, a place he didn't want to revisit.
Andy, now in his forties, spent his childhood in an illegal orphanage in Mexico. In the late 1990s, the orphanage was shut down, and the horror and cruelty it exposed shocked the entire country.
Now, all his childhood friends from the orphanage are gone; he is all alone.
The faint rustling sound of writing came from the other side of the blackboard.
Andy froze, a sense of panic creeping into his heart.
'It can't be her, it can't be her...'
"Little Andy! I've caught you again!" came a sharp-sounding old woman's voice.
Andy looked up, his face pale, and saw the orphanage director, who was over fifty years old.
After Freddy's power was enhanced twice by the corpses of the Supreme God and the demon Lamia, the dreamlike illusion has reached a whole new level.
Andy's powerful abilities as a reincarnator seemed to have been forgotten, and his legs began to tremble involuntarily.
"I didn't break any rules! I didn't!"
"No, no, no, Andy, you broke the rule. This time we'll take the whole tube!"
The old dean had somehow acquired a blood-drawing syringe in his hand.
"If you move even slightly, I'll give you two injections. Be good, sit still!"
Inside the hotel suite, Nancy and her three companions, along with the reincarnator disguised as a demon hunter, were still agonizing over how to deal with the situation. No one noticed Andy, who was sitting upright, and whose face was slowly turning pale.
As Andy's breathing became more and more rapid, one of the more experienced people nearby finally noticed the problem.
"Andy! Andy, what's wrong? Andy!"
"What happened?"
Evan turned his attention to Andy and noticed that although he was sitting upright, he was pale, breathing rapidly, and had his eyes closed.
"Oh no, is he dreaming?"
"Wake him up quickly!"
Evan released electricity from his palm and pressed it directly onto Andy, producing a crackling sound.
The bearded man's hair stood on end, but his eyes remained tightly closed.
"Adrenaline!"
Without saying a word, Chris found a syringe and injected Andy's arm. Andy only trembled and remained sitting upright, but his face grew paler and paler.
"No! Try a cardiac injection, and lay him flat!"
The three veterans tried their best to pry Andy up, but as the strongest in the team, they couldn't budge him at all. Whenever they changed his sitting posture, Andy would frantically try to sit up straight.
"No, let's just inject it!"
The experienced person who was speaking suddenly realized that everyone around him had stopped moving and were staring blankly in his direction.
The three senior members realized something and stepped back.
Andy's body was slightly withered, his face was as pale as paper, and he remained in that position, but he had completely stopped breathing.
Evan slammed his fist hard against the edge of the bed, and half of the wooden bed collapsed and broke.
Some of the others were angry, some were afraid, but none of them made a sound.
A powerful individual who had unlocked two layers of genetic lock died mysteriously in his dream.
Freddy felt he had become even stronger; he hadn't expected that this bearded man with such a huge weakness in his heart could boost his power so much.
'I wonder if the others are the same as him?'
Leaving aside the reincarnators outside, Nancy and her three companions were completely panicked. Even the powerful demon hunter had died. Could they possibly escape this calamity?
Although they really wanted to stay together in a hotel where they would feel safer, the four of them were still urged to go home by their parents in the evening after being discovered to have skipped class.
For some reason, the demon hunters did not reveal their identities to their parents and ask them to stay, as the four had expected. Instead, they told them to go home first.
Freddy leisurely selected his next target. Nancy and the others had been reduced to appetizers; he planned to eliminate them all tonight.
"Thump~"
A muffled sound came from the horizon, startling Freddy.
What's with this uncontrollable noise in my own dream world? Is some idiot delivering groceries to my door again?
"Thump~ thump~" "Snap~ snap~~"
There was a sound like knocking and breaking, followed by a terrifying chewing sound.
Freddy realized something was wrong; he felt a part of his dream world suddenly disappear.
It felt it should leave the dream immediately, but just as it was about to set off, its body felt as if it had been instantly filled with tons of cement, making it difficult to even move its finger.
The terrifying chewing sounds grew louder and louder. As if realizing something, Freddy struggled to lift his head.
In the sky above this dream, a pair of enormous eyes, both shimmering and ever-changing like shimmering glass, are watching him. The area around the eyes is completely filled with distorted light, and with each twist of the light below the eyes, the dream emits a "crunching" chewing sound.
"No, no, this is impossible!! What are you?! This is my world!"
The distorted light suddenly enveloped the entire dream world, and Freddy's eyes widened.
"This is my... world..."
With a deafening boom, Freddy vanished into nothingness along with his dream.
