Chapter 391 Terrifying Attack: Cockroach's Fate

The mirror-like Protoss warships ceased shifting their formation, and the "magic net" between reality and illusion behind them resembled the veins of a leaf.

A beam of light, a massive beam of light with a diameter equal to the entire mirror array of the fleet.

It displays a variety of colors, seemingly ignoring the distance between spaces. At the same moment Li Shengyao gave the order and the fleet formation stopped changing, the front of the energy instantly appeared in front of the giant red worm.

It resembled a colossal beam of light lying between the Protos fleet and the monstrous red worms.

The power was highly concentrated with almost no dissipation. Despite the enormous scale of the energy, it strangely lacked strong radiation, only slightly illuminating the surrounding cosmic void.

Danger!

It wasn't until this moment, until this terrifying, destructive energy appeared, that the giant red worm realized something was wrong, and a sense of panic, as if the Grim Reaper's blade was at its throat, arose in its heart.

Unfortunately, it was too late by then. The fleet ships that were constantly changing shape in the distance were not another meal as the giant red worm had anticipated, but assassins wielding the Death Compass.

The moment it appeared with terrifying energy, time seemed to slow down, and all living beings that saw it thought much faster than usual.

The crew members of those surviving alien fleets felt a sense of bewilderment and helplessness.

roar!

The roar, far more intense than before, stopped almost immediately, and everyone who heard the tremor in their hearts could sense a hint of fear within it.

"boom"

There is no sound in a vacuum, but at this moment, Li Shengyao stared at the light that appeared in front of him and opened his mouth at an angle to make a sound.

A violent surge of energy, a turbulent spatial storm, energy winds, and chaotic forces radiated outwards, mixed with various rays.

One by one, the alien spaceships that were getting too close were like small boats in a storm, being tossed about by the raging waves.

Spaceships grazed by the psionic planet-destroying cannons, regardless of their tonnage, immediately vanished into space without even exploding or leaving a trace of debris.

"Beep beep beep beep... Warning, warning, the protective shield's strength is rapidly decreasing, and the protective core is damaged..."

Inside the flagship of the First Fleet, the mainframe's voice was frantically issuing warnings.

The shield flickered a few times and then disappeared. The protective core also exploded inside, and there was fire and leakage everywhere inside the spaceship.

Being tossed around, the gravity system has become ineffective.

Inside the bridge, the commander was firmly secured in his captain's chair and was not thrown off.

The same was true for most of the crew on the bridge. Instead of futilely operating the machines, they stared intently at the spawning giant red worms as the ship rotated and the windows faced the attack surface.

There was no sound, nor the expected violent struggle; everything was like a small star that was about to explode but was suppressing its explosive energy within a very small area.

If this were not the case, the First Fleet, which was relatively close, the Fifth Fleet, which was not very far away, and even the other outer fleets would not have been able to survive such a terrifying attack.

Like their spaceship, warships struggling in the storm were everywhere, many of them having lost their energy and power, a dark expanse like a metal ice coffin in space.

If these spaceships cannot regain power in time, their fate will be sealed when all the emergency life support systems in the cabins stop working. Perhaps the escape ships can take a small number of crew members with them.

However, at this moment, all the soldiers in the surviving alien alliance fleet had only one thought in their minds.

'Is that thing dead?'

The humans in the Protos space fleet are thinking the same thing: it's hard to imagine any creature that could survive such an attack. Even if there were, they would be Earth creatures, the kind that stand at the level of gods.

The violent energy and shattered space are settling down, and eerie black lightning permeates that region of the universe.

The entire void seemed like glass that had been forcibly glued together, making it extremely unstable. Several alien spaceships were unlucky enough to be scratched by a crack, and their hulls instantly shattered into pieces.

...

Earth was the alternate dimension where the conference center had ended. Wu You rested his chin on his hand, his eyes filled with a blankness, as if the focus of his gaze was on an endless distance.

You couldn't hear any emotion in his voice.

"Not dead yet"

No sooner had he finished speaking than a "Damn it!" came from somewhere.

This was followed by a barrage of complaints.

"No way, he's still alive! I'd be in serious trouble if I took one hit like that."

This is a demon of the same Demon King level, whose strength ranks among the top three in the entire demon race.

Saraso was right next to him, and he pursed his lips.

"If you're going to stand there stupidly and let yourself get shot like that, then you don't deserve to be a demon!"

"If we're talking about who can take a beating and who's the best, then Garurumon would have a huge advantage! Right, Garurumon? By the way, what would happen if you took that hit? Maybe you should try it next time?"

Five exceptionally tall figures stood where Lion-faced King Kong was, the most imposing of whom merely turned his head slightly to glance at Saraso.

"Idiot..."

Saraso: "..."

...

On the other side of the distant universe, Feldman, sitting in his beloved car, gaped in astonishment, his mouth wide enough to fit an entire egg.

"Oh f***ing! What's going on?! They're still alive?!"

The energy had subsided briefly, and the giant red worm was nowhere to be seen. The reason it was said to be alive was because it was spewing blood wildly from somewhere in the void rift.

A clean, blood-red cut stood out starkly from its surroundings, emanating the unique life force of the aberrant creature.

Li Shengyao's voice rang out in the attack formation channel.

“Soldiers, this thing is clearly an earthworm. We’ve cut off most of its exposed body. With the penetrating power of psionic energy, the one inside must be having a hard time either. Go in and find a way to drive it out, or kill it.”

"Also, be careful!"

Upon hearing the command, all the Colossi and Phoenix fighters roared with power, advancing at an incredible speed in tandem with their psionic energy.

The alien alliance fleet was cheering, believing that the monster had been completely annihilated.

But crew members soon discovered that the Protoss's attack had not stopped.

Those magnificent and dazzling weapons of mass destruction were rapidly approaching the original location of the monster.

"What are they going to do? Is that monster still alive?"

However, before the question could be answered, on a spiritual level, a unified, resounding, and awe-inspiring oath resounded.

Captain Minert, a Mosuo who had experienced it firsthand, understood that whenever such a pledge of faith was uttered, it signified the start of the Protoss warriors' offensive charge.

"For El!"

"For El!"

"For El!"
