Summer Qiong rode on the back of a white dragon, tumbling among the sea of clouds, giving him the illusion of ascending to heaven on a dragon.
He glanced down at the little mouse in his palm and chuckled, "Speak up, and if you satisfy me, I'll give your body back to you."
The White Dragon King sighed, then slowly spoke, "The power of reincarnation, like the power of rules, the power of contracts, the power of time, and the power of space, is a fundamental force that maintains the operation of heaven and earth."
This power can control the transition between life and death, causing them to cycle endlessly. It is said that because of it, various life forms have evolved in different worlds, and thus, the bizarre and mysterious have come into being.
The realm of ghosts has existed for hundreds of millions of years. It is said that only two mysterious beings comprehended the power of reincarnation, but they both disappeared from the realm of ghosts later.
Some say they escaped the realm of the undead and went to a higher world; others say they were reincarnated and became human. This is all I know about the power of reincarnation.”
Xia Tianqiong was slightly surprised, not expecting the power of reincarnation to be such a powerful existence.
He suddenly thought about the issue of his rebirth.
"Can mastering the power of reincarnation allow a person to be reborn to a certain point in their past?"
The White Dragon King pondered for a moment, then shook its small head. "It shouldn't be possible. If the soul is transferred and reborn in someone else's body, it shouldn't involve the timeline, so it should be feasible."
To be reborn on one's own timeline, one would likely need to comprehend the power of time or space.
Xia Tianqiong fell into deep thought. Was her rebirth some kind of accidental coincidence? Or was it deliberately arranged by someone else?
This problem was destined to remain unsolved for a short time, so he had no choice but to give up.
Then he asked, "Tell me, why are all the other sealed monsters dead, but you are still alive?"
The White Dragon King suddenly raised his little head, his voice carrying a hint of arrogance.
"I am the King of Ghosts. Although I have only a wisp of my soul in the mortal realm, I still possess the characteristics of the King of Ghosts. Apart from the five primal powers, nothing in this world can annihilate my soul."
"Your body was originally pieced together from human parts, how did it turn into the legendary dragon?"
"I can't say for sure, I can only guess. When this small world first began to evolve, the body I was using was already burned, but my soul still exists."
Later, when life evolved here, my soul was absorbed into the body of a certain fish and merged with its soul.
Perhaps because my soul contains the power of rules, the fish, during its evolution, gradually simplified and evolved into my original form.
Xia Tianqiong was greatly surprised when he heard this. "So, your true form is a divine dragon?"
The White Dragon King said proudly, "Of course, I am the divine beast worshipped by you humans, and you humans are all my successors."
"Get lost, it's just a weird thing."
Xia Tianqiong couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Your current state isn't even weird anymore. You should be considered a white dragon reborn into this world, a new life."
The White Dragon King suddenly lowered his head, and there was a hint of disappointment in his dark little eyes.
“You’re right. This wisp of my soul has been altered by your world and has become an independent life form, no longer a strange entity.”
"Your original body is in the Ghost Realm, so it shouldn't be affected, right? Even if it is, what does it have to do with you? You've become a new life form with independent thoughts and consciousness. You have to live for yourself!"
Xia Tianqiong's words surprised the White Dragon King.
"Yes, even if I return to my original form, I cannot re-merge with it. Now it is it, and I am me; we are no longer related!"
Having figured this out, the White Dragon King suddenly burst into laughter.
But it still looks like a rat, and its arrogant appearance is both comical and cute.
Xia Tianqiong couldn't help but rub the fluffy little head.
The laughter stopped abruptly.
"That's enough! Don't take advantage of me. I have answered all your questions truthfully. Now, quickly switch my body back."
Xia Tianqiong didn't speak. He placed the rat on the dragon's head and then used the power of reincarnation to swap their souls and bodies back to their original forms.
After being switched back, the little mouse looked completely bewildered, seemingly confused as to why it had reverted to its original form.
The White Dragon King let out a roar, a dragon's cry that resounded throughout the heavens and earth.
He then laughed and said, "Having a body and living again feels pretty good!"
It sighed, then turned its massive dragon head around, its large eyes staring at Xia Tianqiong.
"Can you give me some face and not ride on my back? I can help you conquer the world and be your helper, but I can't be your mount."
"Now that you've transformed into a dragon, although you can breathe fire, your strength is only equivalent to that of a ferocious monster. Do you think you're qualified to negotiate with me?"
"..."
The White Dragon King was speechless.
Xia Tianqiong gently tapped the dragon's head and smiled, "Be a good boy and be my mount. You have no other choice. Besides, I gave you a new life, so I am your master."
The White Dragon King is now a living being, not a monster, and therefore cannot directly sign a contract with Xia Tianqiong.
If a contract is to be signed, it can only be signed with a contracting entity under his name, indirectly registering the business under his name.
Xia Tianqiong planned to have the White Dragon King sign a contract with the delivery ghost after they left.
Just then, Xia Tianqiong suddenly sensed the real world outside the chessboard.
This indicates that the small world has finally completed its evolution and can be left at any time.
