After Jun Shisan arrived, he did not greet the other Ghost Kings, but simply hovered quietly not far away.
Next, the more than twenty Ghost Kings present dispersed around the Prison Tower in a ring, surrounding the tower in the middle.
Then the scholar shouted, "Begin!"
Then all the Demon Kings simultaneously cast some kind of trickery on the Prison Tower.
This step seemed to have been rehearsed beforehand, with all the demon kings moving in perfect unison.
As if a switch had been flipped, the prison tower suddenly lit up, emitting a blue-white light and accompanied by intense heat.
Like a small sun, it's too bright to look directly at.
The next moment, a beam of light shot into the sky, reaching straight into the heavens.
It looked like a laser gun, shooting a laser beam into the sky.
The Prison Tower had refined nearly a million bizarre entities, containing terrifying nether energy. Now, it had all transformed into a strange power, surging forth.
First, it easily pierced through the barriers of the human world, and then it broke through the space of the supernatural realm.
They eventually succeeded in creating a passage, which was glowing with a rainbow of colors.
The demon kings stared wide-eyed, all with expressions of delight.
The Three-Eyed Demon King laughed loudly: "It's done, it's done, everyone stop now."
Upon hearing this, all the demon kings simultaneously stopped, and the Prison Tower immediately ceased its glow.
Looking up now, colorful rays of light continuously flowed out of the passage, like celestial mist.
Suddenly, the Ghost King felt his body become lighter, and his long-stalled cultivation level began to loosen, showing faint signs of improvement.
The most obvious signs were seen in Hu Qianjiuyue and the Three-Eyed Ghost King, whose auras rapidly increased, showing a tendency to challenge the Ghost God.
"That's right, this is the passage to the upper realm, there's no mistake."
“Our clan has records that the group of strange gods who entered the upper realm hundreds of thousands of years ago also opened such a passage.”
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's enter the Upper Realm together. We've waited too long for this day."
The demon kings were all agitated, losing their usual composure.
They chatted amongst themselves, then jostled and rushed toward the rainbow-colored passage.
But just as they approached the passage, a sound that shook the heavens and the earth came from within.
"Everyone, I am the king of the Void Clan. I'm sure some of you Void Kings still remember my voice. Take my advice and don't come up."
The voice paused for a moment, then continued, "The Upper Realm has its own rules. Your method of forcibly opening the passage is not permitted. Even if you force your way up, you will be punished, or even directly annihilated."
The Three-Eyed Demon King looked up and cursed, "Who do you think you are? What right do you have to tell us what to do? The Upper Realm isn't your home!"
These words resonated with the other demon kings, who chimed in with their own opinions.
The Void Demon King sighed: "The Upper Realm is far more complicated than you think. Everyone must abide by the rules and compete for a limited number of spots. These rules were not set by us, and we have no power to change them."
That's all I can say. If you insist on coming up, don't blame us for being impolite. By the way, I have five senior Ghost Gods with me. If you have the guts, come and try, and see if you can leave alive.
The demon kings exchanged glances, but none of them dared to make a move.
They felt extremely frustrated at the moment. Although they had guessed that the evil god from the upper realm might step in to stop them, they did not expect it to happen so quickly, and they did not even have a chance to go up and take a look.
Just then, a faint voice rang out.
"I have long yearned for the Upper Realm, and I am even more curious about the power of the Demon God. Let me experience it for myself!"
It's no surprise that Jun Shisan said those words.
After he finished speaking, he transformed into a stream of light and flew into the passage.
Despite being only a demigod, he dared to challenge the God of Demons. His courage and boldness earned him the admiration of all the Demon Kings present.
That's actually why we asked Jun Shisan to come.
