Xia Tianqiong, Jiang Yu, and the delivery guy sat at one table, while the waiters sat at two other tables.
"Eat up, everyone! Let's eat skewers and drink beer!"
Xia Tianqiong took the lead and the other contracted ghosts followed suit.
These strange creatures prefer to eat raw flesh and blood; cooked meat skewers are completely devoid of nutrition and tasteless to them.
But now I have no choice but to eat it.
Only Jiang Yu and Xia Tianqiong were eating skewers and drinking alcohol, occasionally chewing a couple of cloves of garlic.
"Boss, I'd like to propose a toast to you, wishing our company continued growth and that you have an ever-growing number of employees."
The delivery guy quickly got into character and acted quite convincingly.
Xia Tianqiong naturally understood that the "employees" it referred to were contractual tricksters, and laughed, "Work hard, and I won't treat my employees unfairly."
One person held the bottle in one hand, gently touched it, and tilted their head back to blow into it.
The waiters at the two tables next to them frowned as they watched.
"It can drink something this awful; no wonder its master values it so much!"
"They only know how to flatter and fawn; we should despise them."
The shop assistants whispered among themselves, looking down on the delivery guy, but also envying the owner's attitude towards him.
There were some pedestrians on the street, but not many.
Some people passing by a barbecue stall will buy a few skewers of grilled meat and eat them while walking.
A young man in a hoodie walked out from the darkness of the street corner. As soon as he appeared, the delivery guy used his mind to notify Xia Tianqiong.
"Master, it's eerie."
Xia Tianqiong turned her head and saw the young man in the hoodie walk up to the barbecue vendor.
"Boss, give me five skewers of beef."
"Okay, just a moment."
After ordering his skewers, the young man in the hoodie looked at Xia Tianqiong with a wary expression.
It seems to have discovered that there are others like it here.
It glanced at it but did nothing else, then waited quietly to the side, just like an ordinary human.
Two minutes later.
The owner handed the grilled meat skewers to the young man, who paid and turned to leave.
Everything seemed normal, and there was no intention to harm anyone.
Xia Tianqiong watched with great interest.
He knew that the crucial moment was yet to come.
Suddenly I got a little curious and wanted to see if the boss would trigger this bizarre death rule.
