Chapter 74 Cleaning the Basement

The sun sets, and dusk fills the sky.

A lush green wheat field rippled in the afterglow of the setting sun.

This is a field in the northeast of Lin'an City. As the sky gradually darkens, a large cloud of grayish-white mist appears out of nowhere.

It faintly emitted a pale golden light.

The mist resembled a cloud that had fallen to the ground, slowly rolling forward.

Suddenly, a yellow bus appeared out of nowhere beside the fog, driving out of the void.

The bus stopped, the doors opened, and a vibrant young man stepped out.

"It just stands right at the door; the location tracking function works really well!"

Xia Tianqiong was very satisfied with this. He snapped his fingers, and the bus disappeared from the spot. He then stepped into the gray fog.

The Wujian Restaurant was much more lively than when I last visited. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by a bustling scene.

Upon closer inspection, however, there were very few humans, only seven or eight; the rest were strangely dressed and bizarre.

As the eerie phenomena descended, more and more strange things came to the human world, and humans, knowing of their existence, no longer dared to enter this place rashly.

Xia Tianqiong entered the Wujian Restaurant, took out the teleportation token, and teleported directly to the basement level.

The sky was gray and hazy, the clouds were green and gloomy, the ground was covered with cracks, and there was dust and smoke that seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. This place looked like a wasteland.

Just like last time, it was discovered by several strange people around it as soon as it appeared.

They charged forward, roaring like wild beasts.

Xia Tianqiong, however, remained calm and stood there steadily.

The eerie creatures are getting closer and closer; you can tell they are three humanoid and two animaloid.

The fastest charging creature was a bizarre bull-like creature with a pair of huge white horns on its head, and green flames burning on the horns.

It lowered its head, pointed its horns at Xia Tianqiong, and charged straight at him.

Its speed is comparable to that of a motorcycle.

Xia Tianqiong used a bronze mirror to reflect it with his left hand, while using a space-shattering technique with his right hand.

As if time had been paused, the bull's frantic body instantly stopped in place.

Inertia and non-inertia simply don't exist here.

Immediately afterwards, the bull's head separated from the middle, and half of the bull's head slid to the ground.

However, a complete bull's head quickly grew back.

Xia Tianqiong waved his right hand continuously, unleashing the Sky-Splitting Technique. In just two or three seconds, Bull Gui's entire body was torn apart, with seven or eight gashes opening up all over it.

It was difficult to recover in a short time.

"Indeed, the Sky Rift Technique is very useful."

Xia Tianqiong was very satisfied with this trick; the attack left no trace and was extremely effective.

Huang Yu was only at the Wild Monster level, while this Bull Monster should be at the Fierce Monster level, yet killing it was not difficult at all.

Killing the evil spirits shouldn't be a problem.

A trick that can kill a bizarre opponent across two levels is definitely a very powerful offensive trick.

Before the Bull Demon was completely killed, the other four demons rushed to the vicinity and launched a group attack on Xia Tianqiong.

Xia Tianqiong wasn't afraid at all; on the contrary, she was quite excited.

The reason I personally hunted the monsters was to hone my combat skills so that I could calmly deal with any assassination attempts I might encounter again.

His figure suddenly vanished from the spot, and the next second he appeared in a strange human-shaped shadow. He lightly patted the other's shoulder with his left hand, using the "flower-patting technique" to immobilize it.

His right hand slammed into the opponent's head, instantly unleashing three Sky-Splitting Techniques, shattering the opponent on the spot.

The next second, it appeared behind another strange figure and unleashed the same double attack.

With his fighting style, he can handle any kind of strange situation.

Of course, there is also danger if you encounter a supernatural being with powerful magic.

For example, the zombie monsters they encountered last time could spew poisonous mist, so Xia Tianqiong dared not get close to attack them. There were also organized cavalry monsters, which he dared not confront head-on.

None of the five strange creatures in front of them possessed any powerful tricks. They were being completely outmaneuvered by Xia Tianqiong, and their strange bodies were suffering increasingly severe damage. They were probably about to collapse.

The sounds of fighting attracted seven or eight more strange creatures, which pounced on them like hungry wolves.

Two of the tricks are particularly powerful, as they involve area-of-effect attacks.

Xia Tianqiong immediately changed his fighting style, no longer teleporting everywhere, but instead condensing strips of white silk to hang all the strange creatures up.

For a moment, a row of bizarre creatures, constantly struggling, hung in the sky, creating a truly spectacular sight.

They are mostly fierce and wild monsters, unable to break free from the white silk ribbons of the hanging monster.

Xia Tianqiong stood on the ground, continuously casting the Sky-Splitting Technique.

It was a one-sided massacre.

He suddenly realized that he was already very strong, and as long as he didn't encounter any monsters stronger than the evil ones, he could handle them without any danger.

Gradually, he lost interest in fighting.

It's really not challenging at all.

So he released all the contracted monsters from the mirror space.

"Kill them all! I want to wipe out all the strange things here!"

At a command, Huang Yu, the Hanging Ghost, and seven waiters took over from Xia Tianqiong and began to torture and kill the monsters.

Since the gambling ghost couldn't leave the mirror for long, it had to have the delivery ghost hold the bronze mirror to help it cast a spell to freeze the person in place.

Xia Tianqiong then took out a chair and sat down on it.

They then took out various snacks, fruits, and drinks from the mirror space, eating and watching at the same time.

It has a bit of an old man watching a play feel to it.

He didn't have the contracted monsters kill the monster directly, but instead brought it to the brink of collapse before taking it into the mirror space.

Let the Mirror Ghost kill inside and transform the Netherworld Power into Netherworld Gold.

The original plan was to seal the eerie creatures into the Eerie Chessboard to increase their number.

On the way here, it suddenly occurred to me that in order to seal it into the chessboard, I need to defeat it first and force it to agree in person before I can seal it.
