Chapter 1: The Eve of the Battle of Revenge

Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.

Basketball hall.

Bang…bang…bang…

Brush...brush...brush...

Clank... Clank... Clank...

The sound of a basketball hitting a ball.

The sound of a basketball hitting the net.

The sound of a slam dunk.

These sounds came one after another, constantly echoing in the stadium.

The members of the "Generation of Miracles" ran back and forth tirelessly on the court like an efficiently operating assembly line in a factory.

Whoever ends up with the ball will be able to get to the basket at an amazing speed.

There is hardly any pause in the process; it is as smooth as flowing water and is completed in one go.

Those who had never seen the "Generation of Miracles" training were all stunned at the moment, their eyes wide open, and the shocked expressions on their faces never dissipated from beginning to end, and they all seemed to be stupid.

"Is this what the 'Generation of Miracles' training looks like? It's amazing! There isn't even a single interruption. This is the first time I've felt such a comfortable and smooth feeling during training."

Some people couldn't help but sigh.

"I think they will be able to beat those guys from the United States."

The other person said firmly.

"I never thought that the Generation of Miracles could become so powerful when they came together."

Others were filled with amazement.

"Now I can finally understand how desperate the teams that faced them were in junior high school."

As if recalling scenes from the past, the speaker's voice was filled with emotion and awe.

Off the court.

Reiko Aida stood there like a sculpture, her eyes empty and her expression numb.

From the moment the training began, she seemed to be trapped in a huge web of confusion, horror, shock and astonishment, unable to extricate herself.

Her eyes were like being attracted by a magnet, fixed on the "Generation of Miracles" who were moving without interruption on the court.

At this moment, her worldview collapsed, as if she was swept away by a sudden storm.

That powerful aura and the breathtaking display of strength caused a storm in her heart.

So strong!

Just daily training is enough to make people clearly see how powerful they are.

Compared with those mediocre teams from other schools, their training is on a completely different level, as if it came from another dimension.

Each of their movements and each cooperation was as accurate as if it had been carefully calculated, full of power, speed and beauty.

Aida Kagetora quietly gazed at the people running hard on the court, his eyes full of emotion.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, and a complicated expression appeared on his weathered face.

After a long time, he slowly opened his mouth, his voice low and powerful.

"It's incredible. These guys are now no less capable than the professional players."

"Professional player?"

Reiko Aida's face was full of disbelief, and her voice trembled slightly, as if she couldn't believe her ears.

She acknowledged that the “Generation of Miracles” is extremely strong and is considered the best in the high school basketball world.

However, it would be an exaggeration to say that they are not inferior to professional players!

In her opinion, professional players have gone through countless fierce competitions and possess rich experience and superb skills.

Aida Katsutora had a serious look on his face, without the slightest hint of joking.

He raised his chin slightly and spoke with a firm look.

"Professional player is just a nice title. With their current strength, they are fully capable of representing the country."

"Dad, are you telling the truth?"

Only then did Reiko Aida realize that her father was not joking and that what he said was true.

Her heartbeat suddenly accelerated, as if it was about to jump out of her throat.

In this case, then...

As if he could see what his daughter was thinking, Katsutora Aida spoke slowly again.

"When I say they are comparable to professional players, I mean the overall strength of the team, not just their individual strength."

After saying that, his gaze became deeper and deeper, and he looked at Gin Yue and Akashi on the court with some depth.

"If we have to talk about individual strength, we have to admit that Yin Yue and Akashi are the key figures in connecting the team. It is because of them that the overall strength of the team has been raised by more than one level."

Hearing her father say this, Reiko Aida couldn't help but focus her attention on Ginzuki and Akashi.

Her eyes were full of contemplation and speculation, and she thought to herself.

"Gin Yue Cangye, Akashi Seijuro, are they really that strong?"

At that moment, she seemed to see two bright lights shining on the court, which could not be ignored.

The days passed by like flowing water.

Yin Yue and others are immersed in intense training every day, working tirelessly.

The awkwardness that everyone felt at the beginning has gradually dissipated after a few days of adjustment.

They regained the tacit understanding they once had when playing together, making their cooperation even easier.

The "Miracle Generation" dream team, which was visibly becoming stronger, gave the rest of the people a surge of strong confidence.

They seemed to see the dawn of victory shining ahead and firmly believed that this team would be able to defeat Jabberwock.

Today is the last day of our training, just like an exciting journey is about to reach an important turning point.

Tomorrow will be the time for a fierce battle with Jabberwock, and the air seems to be filled with tension and anticipation.
