Chapter 17: The Dream Team's Momentum, "Ice World" Fails

The agile figure was like an eagle spreading its wings, rushing towards the sky.

His eyes were sharp and fixed on the basket of Jabberwock, which was halfway across the court, and then he shot the basketball in his hand.

Whoosh…

The basketball flew out of his hands with a sound like an arrow leaving a bow, flying straight into the sky above the stadium.

It was like a meteor with a mission, drawing a beautiful arc under the light, and then falling towards the center of Jabberwock's basket.

brush……

The basketball passed through the center of the Jabberwock basket with incredible precision. The net swayed gently, making a crisp sound, as if cheering for this wonderful goal.

This ball, like a sharp blade, pierced straight into the hearts of the Jabberwocks.

Dream Team 62-64 Jabberwock.

For a moment, the surging momentum of the Jabberwocks paused for a moment.

"It was that guy. Damn it, he was careless."

Nick said through gritted teeth.

His gaze shot across the half court like a sharp arrow, straight towards Midorima.

"It seems that I can't just leave him alone, or I will go to defend him."

Alan volunteered, with a look of eagerness in his eyes.

Nick refused.

"No, it's just a monkey. I'll make sure he can't even shoot a single ball."

With that, he strode towards Midorima, each step carrying an air of dominance, ready to defend the entire court.

He looked so confident, as if he had already seen the scene where Midorima was being suppressed by him and had no power to fight back.

He came in front of Midorima and sneered.

"Stinky monkey, don't even think about making another shot. I'll defend you to death."

The corners of his mouth rose slightly, revealing a malicious smile, which was full of provocation towards Midorima.

Midorima looked at Nick in front of him, silent.

His expression was as calm as water, without the slightest ripple, as if he didn't care at all about what Nick said.

There was no emotion in his deep eyes, like a bottomless lake.

I don’t know if he didn’t understand Nick’s insulting words or if he really didn’t care. He just stood there quietly, waiting for the next opportunity to attack.

Attack and defense transition.

The ball came to Jabberwock.

Bang…bang…bang…

Nash was still the one dribbling the ball and attacking. The rhythmic sound of his dribbling disturbed the hearts of the Dream Team members every moment.

His speed was not fast, and he seemed to be strolling leisurely, but he had a calmness that seemed to be in control of the overall situation.

However, the aura he exudes is like a turbulent undercurrent, making people dare not underestimate him.

The aura seemed to be a mist seeping out from the dark abyss, spreading around him, carrying a subtle deterrent force, making anyone close to him feel the invisible pressure.

Yin Yue quickly stepped forward to resist. His figure flashed across the court like a flash of lightning, and in the blink of an eye he was confronting Nash in the midfield.

He stood tall and stared at Nash firmly, like a warrior guarding his territory.

"You are different from other people, but that's all."

Nash spoke, his voice low and cold, with a hint of disdain.

As he finished speaking, his dribbling suddenly paused for a moment, and that brief pause was like the calm before the storm.

'It is now.'

Yin Yue's eyes focused, and he was like a cheetah ready to pounce, staring closely at his prey's every move.

His eyes radiated a light like the shining stars, bright and dazzling, as if containing endless energy.

[Ice World] opens.

call……

In an instant, a cold wind blew with the silver moon as its center, like a roaring ice beast with its bloody mouth opening, and rushed in all directions.

The cold wind was like countless sharp ice knives, cutting through all the people in Jabberwock.

It whizzed past, and wherever it passed, the temperature dropped sharply, as if it had instantly dragged the entire world into the cold polar region.

Goose bumps appeared on the players' skin. They could even feel the chill penetrating through their pores and into their bones, making their bodies tremble slightly involuntarily.

Brush, brush, brush, brush...

The next moment, countless ice cones with sharp cold rays fell from the sky, like swords of punishment sent down from heaven, smashing down on the Jabberwock people.

Those icicles flashed a cold light under the light. Each one looked like a carefully polished weapon, with a terrifying cold light flashing at the tip.

They densely filled the sky and poured down on the enemy like raindrops, as if to turn the space where Jabberwock and his men were located into an icy hell.

One... two... three...

In a short while, the bodies of the Jabberwocks were covered with transparent ice cones of various sizes.

Those icicles were like the spikes of death, surrounding them mercilessly.

Under the light, the ice cones reflected colorful light, but these gorgeous colors could not conceal the dangerous atmosphere they brought.

The only difference from the past was that most of these ice cones were only inserted into the area around the Jabberwocks, forming a strange encirclement.
