Chapter 8: The final struggle in the second quarter

His body stiffened slightly, and he tried to twist his body to catch up with the basketball that had passed through his crotch, but at this moment he had no way to stop it. His movements seemed a little stiff due to inertia and haste.

At this moment, a figure quietly appeared in front of Jason Siber, like a ghost suddenly flashing in the darkness.

This person is none other than Kuroko Tetsuya.

He just stood there quietly, like a mysterious messenger walking out of the shadows, inconspicuous yet crucial.

His eyes were focused and calm, ready to take the next action at any time.

The basketball that flew out from Jason Thibo's crotch was like a precision-guided artillery shell, flying right in front of Kuroko.

At this moment, Kuroko was like a commander on the battlefield, calm and composed.

He raised his arm and slapped the flying basketball with his unique momentum.

The basketball flew into the air above Jabberwock's restricted area after he hit it.

Murasakibara didn't know when he had arrived at the inside of Jabberwock. He was like a giant beast that had been lurking for a long time, breaking out of the ground and appearing when food arrived.

His tall body is like a small mountain, full of power.

He jumped, and the movement of his jump was like a rocket taking off into the sky, rising from the ground in an instant.

He caught the basketball that Kuroko threw at him and held the ball firmly in his hands with both hands.

A fierce look flashed in his eyes, and strands of purple electric light flickered. The mysterious light seemed to be the prelude to his burst of power.

The next moment, he turned 180 degrees in mid-air.

A hammer of destruction in the air.

He held the ball with both hands, his muscles tensed, as if he used all his strength to dunk the basketball in his hands into the basket in front of him.

ah……

Accompanied by a roar, the sound was like a huge bell, echoing over the stadium.

Murasakibara slammed the basketball into the basket, and the huge impact force made the basket tremble.

Clang...

A sound that was no less impressive than Jason Thibo’s dunk rang out, a sound that shook the heart like thunder.

The score on the electronic scoreboard changed again.

Dream Team 38 to Jabberwock 43.

Murasakibara let go of the basket and fell back to the ground, his feet landing with a dull thud.

He was breathing slightly heavily, with beads of sweat on his forehead sliding down his cheeks, but his eyes were still sharp.

He raised his head to glance at the violently shaking basket and backboard, a hint of dissatisfaction flashed in his eyes, and then he muttered to himself.

"Tsk...isn't this enough power?"

His tone was full of dissatisfaction with the power of his dunk, as if he should have shown more powerful destructive power like Jason Thibo destroyed the basketball hoop.

The offense and defense switched again.

The atmosphere on the field became increasingly tense, as if an invisible layer of pressure was covering the entire field.

Jason Siber looked very dissatisfied, his brows were tightly furrowed, flames of anger were burning in his eyes, and his whole body was entangled with an lingering and terrifying aura.

His aura was like a surging black wave, carrying the power to destroy everything. It gave people a sense of "stay away from strangers". The air around him seemed to become icy cold because of him.

Bang…bang…bang…

It's still Nash serving.

He was still standing there dribbling the basketball, the rhythmic sound of the dribbling being particularly clear in the silent court.

There was no expression on his calm and cold face, like an iceberg, without the slightest emotional fluctuation.

He glanced at the electronic scorer hanging above the stadium. With just a quick glance, he took in the score, then calmly withdrew his gaze, as if the closer score could not affect him at all.

His calmness was in stark contrast to Jason Thibaud’s anger.

But in the next second, Nash, who was calmly shooting the basketball, suddenly changed like a huge wave beneath the calm sea.

He was like a top-notch racing car with full horsepower, rushing out in an instant. The speed he burst out was so fast that in the blink of an eye, his figure turned into a blurry light and shadow.

The action was so sudden and fast, much faster than before.

Although the members of the Dream Team were not prepared, they were all masters with outstanding strength and rich competition experience.

The moment Nash started, they noticed it with their keen intuition.

Looking at Nash who was approaching quickly, Huang Lai's eyes became stern. Without much hesitation, he immediately stepped forward like an arrow. His eyes were firm and focused, ready to stop the opponent's attack in the midfield.

He leaned forward and moved quickly, like a solid line of defense, trying to stop Nash's progress.

However, when he stood in front of Nash, Nash was like a nimble ghost, turning sideways quickly, and the movement was smooth and seamless.

He cleverly moved around to the side of Kise, with his back to Kise and his body slightly squatting, the basketball firmly in his hands, as if he was looking for a new opportunity to break through.

The alert Kise did not move, as he was well aware of Nash's cunningness. Instead, he immediately began to prevent Nash's possible pass.

His eyes were fixed on Nash's body movements, not missing any details, and he was ready to respond to Nash's next move at any time.

Bang……

The sudden sound of a basketball hitting the ground broke Huang Lai's expectations. The sound was as abrupt as a bomb explosion.
