Attack and defense transition.
Jabberwock has the ball.
The ball came into Nash's hands.
Bang…bang…bang…
The basketball hit the ground rhythmically, and in the somewhat noisy venue, it seemed particularly penetrating.
"A monkey should have the consciousness of a monkey. It's really disgusting to me that it's always jumping around in front of me."
Nash spoke with a cold expression while patting the basketball.
There was a deep disdain in his eyes, and that look was like an ice-cold blade, cutting through everyone on the Dream Team.
He seemed to be talking to himself, or complaining deliberately. The insulting words in his words were like sharp nails, trying to hurt the self-esteem of the members of the Dream Team. He seemed to be arrogant and overbearing, but in fact he was trying to disturb the minds of everyone in the Dream Team.
As time passes by mercilessly second by second, it is like evaporating water mist, invisible and intangible.
The players of the Dream Team seemed to be in sync with each other and quickly found the opponents they needed to defend.
Everyone was extremely serious because they had to hold on to the score that they had narrowed with great difficulty at the last moment.
Huang Lai looked at Nash directly with a sharp gaze.
The two looked at each other, and sparks seemed to fly where their eyes met. The air around them seemed to solidify because of this tense stare.
I thought the two would engage in a thrilling and fierce offensive and defensive battle, just like two ferocious predators fighting a desperate battle for food.
But what was unexpected was that Nash suddenly started, with a simple quick change of direction, his body was like agile lightning, and instantly broke through Huang Lai's defense.
The change of direction was so fast and the movement was so smooth that Huang Lai had no time to react. He could only watch Nash pass by him and rush towards the basket of the Dream Team.
This incident once again made the situation tense.
What?
Huang Lai's eyes were full of shock. He looked at Nash who had broken through him with an incredible look out of the corner of his eye.
His heart was like a raging ocean wave, creating huge uproar.
"This speed... is so fast and smooth. And he didn't even have any preparation before the breakthrough."
Huang Lai shouted in his heart. He couldn't understand how the other party could burst out with such an amazing speed without any warning.
This speed was like a sharp knife, instantly tearing apart his originally solid defense.
What’s more important is that the opponent didn’t have any preparatory moves beforehand. There was no common downward pressure or eye cues. He just broke through like that.
This caught Huang Lai off guard, and he was a little overwhelmed at that moment.
Huang Lai reacted and immediately turned around to chase.
but……
Huang Lai tried his best to catch up, but found that the distance between him and Nash did not shorten.
"What a joke! I can't even catch up."
Huang Lai roared in his heart, veins popped out on his forehead, and there was nothing but astonishment in his eyes.
He never thought that the opponent's point guard would have such speed.
Huang Lai looked at Nash in front of him, his eyes full of astonishment.
When facing Jason Thibaud before, the feeling of being superior in strength and speed came to mind again.
Now Nash gives him the same feeling.
Jason Thibaud gave him the feeling of a heavy and sharp mountain.
Nash gave him the feeling of a foggy forest, full of unknowns.
In an instant, it was as if a bolt of lightning struck Huang Lai's mind.
Snap...
The lightning seemed to strike straight into the depths of his soul, and the roar exploded in his mind, making him a little dazed.
"No way! Could it be that all of them...if that's really the case..."
Huang Lai didn't dare to think further. It was a terrifying guess. If all the members of the Jabberwock team possessed such terrifying strength, the result of this game would be unimaginable.
Huang Lai secretly took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart.
He calmed himself down, forced himself to suppress the uneasiness in his heart, and said secretly.
"No matter what, we should stop him first."
Nash hit the basketball, and the thud sound of the basketball hitting the ground seemed to have an inexplicable attraction, making people subconsciously turn their eyes to him.
His two legs seemed to be equipped with the most advanced accelerators, turning into a series of afterimages, and rushing towards the Dream Team's half at an astonishing speed.
There seemed to be a wind behind him, like a fired sniper bullet, clear in target and unstoppable.
"Damn it... Don't even think about going there..."
A fierce look flashed in Huang Lai's eyes, he gritted his teeth and roared.
The sound echoed over the stadium like the roar of a wild beast.
Then, his pace suddenly quickened, and every step seemed to be on a Hot Wheels, as if he turned into a yellow wind, whistling and chasing after Nash.
His figure created a gust of air as he moved quickly.
Um?
Noticing Huang Lai's approach, Nash glanced sideways, with a flash of surprise in his eyes.
'This guy is getting faster again.'
He pondered in his heart, but the hint of surprise was soon replaced by amusement in his eyes.
The next second, a strange smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. That smile seemed to be mocking Huang Lai's arrogance, and it seemed like he was waiting for the other party to step into the trap he had set.
Just as he was about to cross the center line, Huang Lai was about to catch up.
