"Mom! What are you thinking? Our family is not well off to begin with. If we pay for this girl's medical treatment, how will we survive in the future?"
Lin Yin vaguely heard the man's angry scolding, the woman's throwing a tantrum and another woman's crying.
Her brows were furrowed and her eyelids were so heavy that she couldn't open them.
"Mom! Yubao is right! The second son's family doesn't only have Lin Yin as their daughter. If she's gone, it's gone. But if this money is spent, it's really gone!"
Lin Yin's mind became clearer and clearer. She slowly opened her eyelids and saw only the yellowed walls of the house.
I slowly turned my head and saw several people huddled together.
She wanted to move, but her forehead hurt so much that Lin Yin subconsciously wanted to hold her head.
But when she touched those little hands, Lin Yin's eyes widened and she suddenly woke up.
How could that be? Wasn't she dead?
Looking at it again now, I realized that this wasn't the hospital where she died, but...
Lin Yin sat up suddenly and looked around.
The vague memories from more than 20 years ago gradually flooded into my mind.
Isn't this her home?!
In other words, her childhood home.
Lin Yin's movements were so big that several people who were originally arguing looked over at the same time. The crying woman saw that Lin Yin had woken up and rushed over with tears streaming down her face.
"Yinyin, you finally woke up! You scared your mother!"
The woman in front of her is Lin Yin's mother, An Xin.
When Lin Yin saw her mother's caring eyes, she realized that she was twelve years old again.
But wasn't she dead? How could...
Could it be... that she was reborn?
Just as this thought came to my mind, I heard the sarcastic remarks of the woman next to me.
"Mom, didn't I tell you that this little girl is fine? You still don't believe me. If we had really sent her to the hospital for treatment, it would have been a waste of money!"
The person who spoke was Lin Yin's aunt Shen Hongyan.
"Sister-in-law, how can you say that!" An Xin asked with wide eyes.
"What did I say? Was what I said wrong?" Shen Hongyan retorted.
"Be quiet!" Old Lady Lin shouted angrily, "Can you two sisters-in-law behave yourself? Aren't you afraid that others will find out and laugh at you?"
Shen Hongyan stared with an unwilling look on her face.
"Grandma." Lin Yin pursed her lips and looked at Old Lady Lin. Old Lady Lin said, "I'm glad you're okay."
After saying that, the old lady left with her cane. Shen Hongyan and her husband Lin Yubao followed her unwillingly. An Xin sat beside the couch, looking at her daughter worriedly.
"Yinyin, it's all Mom's fault for being useless..."
"Mom, I'm fine..." Lin Yin smiled and said, "Mom, I want to sleep a little longer."
"Okay!" An Xin said quickly: "Then Mom will go out and not disturb your rest."
After saying that, An Xin also left.
Lin Yin was lying on the bed, touching her head with one hand. Feeling a slight pain, she frowned and gasped.
really……
When she was twelve years old, she fell down a slope and hit her head on a brick, causing her to bleed a lot. She fainted immediately after falling.
Originally, her mother An Xin wanted to send her to the hospital, but her uncle Lin Yubao and aunt Shen Hongyan threw a tantrum and refused to agree.
Later she woke up on her own and the matter was left unresolved. However, she suffered from frequent headaches afterwards, and even seeing a doctor was of no use. That was the root cause of the disease left at that time.
Lin Yin grinned and laughed. The Lin family had not yet split up. How could the eldest wife be willing to spend money on medical treatment for a little girl like her?
Old Mrs. Lin gave birth to five children in her lifetime. The eldest and third were daughters, and the other three were sons.
Because people in the countryside favor boys over girls, daughters are not counted, so the Lin family has three rooms.
