Xu Wan had a bad feeling and quickly said, "Let's go ask over there."
She and Liu Xing moved a few meters away.
Liu Xing asked in a low voice, "How did you manage to win this man over? You didn't tell him about your parents, did you?"
“I told him, he knows, and he doesn’t mind!”
Xu Wan's voice wasn't loud, but her tone was firm.
Liu Xing was somewhat skeptical. He looked up at Jiang Tingzhou and saw the man staring at them nervously. He was quite annoyed. "You said it? What did you say?"
"What does this have to do with you? I've already registered our marriage and we're married. I don't know you at all. Whatever my uncle promised you before, it has nothing to do with me."
Xu Wan blurted out everything in one breath.
She spoke very quickly, and was clearly somewhat guilty.
Liu Xing immediately saw the problem and asked with a sinister grin, "If I'm not mistaken, you definitely didn't tell him why your mother went to jail, right?"
"Let me tell you, Liu Xing, my grandmother is here. She's very satisfied with my husband. If you dare to say anything out of line, my uncle will cut off all ties with your family!"
Xu Wan could only threaten Liu Xing with her grandmother's situation.
She didn't waste any more words with Liu Xing and turned back to her grandmother's side.
Liu Xing, shameless as ever, waved to the group with a cheerful smile: "Grandma Liu, Wanmei, I'm leaving now. I'll come visit you in a few days."
Liu Yingjun didn't welcome him either: "Jiashan isn't home right now, so you don't need to come over."
Liu Xing's appearance ruined the atmosphere.
Liu Yingjun didn't want to go for a walk anymore.
On the way back, Liu Yingjun asked, "Wanwan, now that you're married, you can't keep living separately, can you?"
"Grandma, I'm planning to move out, but I haven't had a chance to tell you yet."
Xu Wan's cheeks flushed as she spoke.
Liu Yingjun urged, "Then let's hurry up. Your uncle is away from home these few days. If he were home, he would definitely miss you and would throw a tantrum and try to stop you."
Jiang Tingzhou continued, "I've already tidied up the house; the lady of the house can move in anytime she wants."
"There's no time like the present; I think today is perfect."
Liu Yingjun immediately set a date.
After returning home, Jiang Tingzhou helped pack his things.
Xu Wan has always lived frugally. Apart from a few formal suits for work, she has very few personal clothes in her room.
The most numerous items were a cabinet full of law books.
Xu Wan tidied up, and Jiang Tingzhou was in charge of moving things.
It took about an hour for Xu Wan's belongings to be loaded into Jiang Tingzhou's car.
When Jiang Tingzhou returned to the room after putting his things away, Xu Wan was sitting on the edge of the bed fiddling with a small notebook.
"What are you looking at?" Jiang Tingzhou asked.
"It's my childhood diary. I thought I had lost it, but I found it in the corner of the closet."
Xu Wan was holding a pink notebook with a plastic combination lock hanging on it.
It was obvious that Xu Wan had forgotten her password.
Jiang Tingzhou stood against the wall, looking down at the woman who was seriously trying out the password. "Take it back and try it slowly. Maybe you'll remember it someday."
"good."
Xu Wan gave up trying and put the laptop, lock and all, into her bag.
When the two arrived in the living room, Liu Yingjun sat on the sofa and said to Xu Wan, "Wanwan, you go downstairs first. I have a few words to say to Jiang Tingzhou."
"grandmother……"
"You go down first, I'll be right there." Jiang Tingzhou patted Xu Wan's head. "Good girl."
Xu Wan's heart raced, and she suddenly couldn't say a word. She simply nodded.
After the living room door was closed, Liu Yingjun looked up at Jiang Tingzhou and asked, "Attorney Jiang, are you and Wanwan really married? Or did Wanwan ask you to act in this so I could put my mind at ease?"
