Chapter 14 Fang Qibai
The morning rush hour traffic was so bad that Zhu Fan was exasperated, but thankfully he wasn't late.
It took her fifteen minutes to get from parking her car to the classroom door.
As Zhu Fan entered the classroom, she encountered the professor giving the lecture, and she took a half-step back while holding her books.
The professor smiled and pointed to the classroom, indicating that Zhu Fan should go first.
Zhu Fan was dumbfounded when he entered the classroom.
The tiered classroom, which can accommodate 300 people, was packed to capacity, with some students even bringing their own stools to the back.
Zhu Fan stood near the podium, looking somewhat bewildered.
Before transmigrating into the book, she attended a top-tier university. But even if everyone loved studying, there wasn't a class that started at 8 AM.
This class is about surveys and data analysis; it's not a regular course, it's an elective.
"Ahhh, my goddess looks so beautiful today."
"Let me tell you, I ran into my goddess in the parking lot. The way she drove was absolutely mesmerizing."
"Ahhh, the goddess is smiling at me."
"Hey, the goddess looks very different today."
"I think so too. She's even more beautiful now; I can't take my eyes off her."
"Why didn't my goddess sit next to my idol today?"
"Are you stupid? There's someone sitting next to Fang Qibai."
"Let's take a gamble and see if Rong Lewei will give up her seat this time."
"I bet it won't happen."
Amidst the whispers and murmurs around him, Fang Qibai raised his head slightly.
The classroom fell silent the moment he looked up.
"Qi Bai, what's wrong?"
Rong Lewei tucked her hair back and looked up from her book.
A faint floral fragrance reached my nose, like osmanthus blossoms tinged with moisture, carrying a touch of coolness, as if I had stepped into a garden after the rain.
She stared at the boy in front of her, somewhat dazed.
The boy was dressed simply in light blue jeans and a white T-shirt, yet he looked like a model straight out of a Harper's Bazaar magazine. His features were sharply defined, his brow bone high and prominent, and his entire face was flawless. Even the small brown mole on his right eyelid possessed a captivating beauty.
Fang Qibai: "Sorry, I've already reserved this seat for someone else."
Rong Lewei was a hundred times unwilling to get up.
But the boy's gentle voice and faint smile made it impossible for her to stay there any longer.
"Zhu Fan, here."
Amidst the envious and jealous gazes of the girls, Zhu Fan walked towards Fang Qibai's row of seats.
Fang Qibai, who was originally sitting in the aisle, got up and moved to a seat inside.
The chair folds up after the person leaves.
Zhu Fan bent over, her long hair, half-tied up, falling onto her face, which itched slightly.
One hand pressed down on the chair before she could react.
Zhu Fan tucked her hair behind her ear and said, "Thank you."
Fang Qibai raised an eyebrow, "Did you stay in bed late today?"
His tone was familiar and natural.
The professor has already stepped onto the podium and begun his lecture.
Zhu Fan lowered his voice, "Traffic jam."
"My idol is so gentle, waaaaaah!"
"I also want to be treated like that by my idol."
"Handsome men and beautiful women, it's a real feast for the eyes."
"My crush and my goddess are whispering sweet nothings to each other, ahhhhhh!"
"Hahaha, even our Rong-style painted-face characters are green with anger."
Shh, she might stick a voodoo doll in your mouth.
"It's not a waste that I, a computer science student, would skip my regular classes to come to the economics department to watch my idols ship as a couple."
Zhu Fan's university major was chosen for her by her grandmother: economics.
Before transmigrating into the book, she was an art student majoring in visual communication design.
Having the original owner's memories, she found learning these things not difficult, but rather quite easy.
Halfway through the class, Zhu Fan's phone vibrated twice in his pocket.
She quietly took out her phone.
Fang Qizhou: [Location/]
Fang Qizhou: [Come here.]
When Fang Qibai looked over, Zhu Fan turned off his phone.
Realizing that his actions seemed rather guilty, Zhu Fan smiled at Fang Qibai.
Fang Qibai lowered his head to take notes and casually asked, "Is there something you need?"
Zhu Fan hummed in response.
Something was wrong; her blood bag was hungry.
Being hungry won't cause you to lose health, but it will make Fang Qizhou unhappy.
If she gets upset and goes on a suicidal car chase, she's finished.
The location Fang Qizhou sent was the school cafeteria.
With ten minutes left in the class, she turned her phone back on.
She lowered her head and typed.
The professor was lecturing passionately on the podium, while the students below were so sleepy they were practically swaying.
F: [I have ten minutes left in class. Wait for me in the cafeteria. I'll come right away as soon as class ends.]
Fang Qizhou: [Now]
Zhu Fan rested his chin on the table.
Fang Qizhou didn't have the patience to wait for her to finish class before going over.
Zhu Fan closed her book, looked at Qi Bai with a questioning gaze, and took out a pack of tissues from her bag. "I'm going to skip get out of class. If I don't come back, could you please pack my books and bag for me?"
Fang Qibai put down the pen he was using to take notes.
Zhu Fan did not disturb the professor or the students in class.
Zhu Fan, who thought she had left quietly, was unaware that her classmates, who were watching her and Fang Qibai closely, had taken many photos of her when she sneaked out of the classroom.
...
As soon as Zhu Fan arrived at the cafeteria, she quickly sent a message to Fang Qizhou.
Fang Qizhou did not reply to the message.
Zhu Fan looked around but didn't see Fang Qizhou.
Zhu Fan admitted that she was walking a little slowly, but couldn't this person give her more patience?
She made a video call directly.
Fang Qizhou answered the video call and breathed a sigh of relief.
The man's impeccable face was staring at the screen; just one glance was enough to emanate his menacing aura.
Upon seeing him in the car, Zhu Fan said with a pained expression, "Don't go! It took me almost twenty minutes to get to the cafeteria. I came over as soon as you messaged me, even skipping class."
The phone was thrown into the passenger seat by its owner.
Zhu Fanping caught her breath, which had become erratic from walking so fast. "What would you like to eat? Or would you like to have one of each?"
She held her phone up to the cafeteria window so Fang Qizhou could choose.
The girl's panting was amplified through the receiver and into the car.
"West Gate, parking lot, five minutes."
Before Zhu Fan could respond, the video call ended.
A black Koenigsegg lay across the main road of the campus.
The black Bugatti following behind didn't dare to urge them on. After a while, Wen Yuxing opened the car door and asked, "Brother Zhou, are you done relaxing?"
Fang Qizhou lowered the car window and lazily lifted his eyelids. "Reverse."
Wen Yuxing stopped laughing.
Sorry, his car was blocking the way.
"Brother Zhou, have you thought it through? Since we're already here, let's have breakfast together."
He was in a rare good mood today, so he knocked on his brother Zhou's door and called him to have breakfast, and surprisingly, Zhou agreed.
Fang Qizhou hates eating the most.
Wen Yuxing was practically ready to buy fireworks and blow up the building as a congratulatory gesture.
Over the years he's followed his brother Zhou around, he's lost a lot of hair trying to get Zhou to eat more.
After parking the car, Wen Yuxing didn't receive any instructions from his brother Zhou and was bored.
He climbed into the passenger seat of Fang Qizhou's car.
Upon seeing the newly posted trending topic from Kyoto University, he instinctively clicked on it.
"Damn it, seeing this 360-degree flawless photo of Fang Qibai first thing in the morning is like wishing his mother a Happy New Year, and the whole family is dead."
"Day after day, Zhu Fan, this ice beauty, is quite beautiful at first glance, but after looking at her for a while, she's just so-so. What's so great about shipping these two?"
He shoved his phone toward Fang Qizhou and said, “Isn’t the person who photoshopped this picture so tacky? These two are just sitting together, face to face, talking to each other, and they still have to put a circle of pink hearts around them.”
It's so tacky it's almost painful to look at.
Wen Yuxing felt a bit of something poking his buttocks, which made him feel a little numb. He touched it with his hand.
Oh dear, he kissed his brother's phone with his butt.
Fang Qizhou spread his hands.
Wen Yuxing subconsciously handed over his phone, then said, "You took the wrong one, Brother Zhou, your phone is here."
Fang Qizhou swiped his fingertips, taking in the information from the online forum.
His gaze settled on Zhu Fan's gentle smile as she looked at Fang Qibai's photo.
