Chapter 10: Blacklisted by wealthy parents
"Don't cry, don't cry. If Mom and Dad see you crying, they'll think I'm bullying you. Here, this is the chewing gum my deskmate gave me. I'll share half with you."
Lin Xiaonuan hurriedly broke off half of her chewing gum and stuffed it into Lin Muyan's arms, then leaned in and stared with her round eyes to see if Lin Muyan had stopped crying.
His appearance was both funny and cute, which made Lin Muyan laugh.
"You're too kind," Lin Xiaonuan grinned and chuckled.
"Sis, you're so much more pleasing to the eye than my old sister. You have no idea how pretentious she was. With her around, I could only share a room with Mom and Dad. Now I have my own little bed!"
Lin Xiaonuan lay down on her small bed with a satisfied look on her face. Lin Muyan asked curiously:
"You didn't live in this house before?"
Lin Xiaonuan pouted, "How could I dare to compete with her for territory? Before, she occupied an entire room by herself, while I shared a room with my parents, and my older brother had to sleep on the floor in the living room."
Although her older brother still has to sleep on the floor in the living room, at least Lin Xiaonuan has her own small room now, which makes her naturally happy.
