Chapter 103 Friends from Back Then

The female teacher, who looked to be in her early thirties, was wearing the Taipei City University uniform. Her shock quickly turned into confusion, followed by delight.

"Is it really you? You haven't changed at all since you were young. You've even looked younger." The female teacher said to herself.

The four people who stopped and turned around all looked bewildered, except for He Xiao and Shen Linyue.

Gu Yi'an asked in confusion, "Hello teacher, there is no one here named Shen Linyue."

The female teacher was even more surprised. She pointed at Shen Linyue, who was walking in the middle of the four people and was wearing a pink down jacket: "Aren't you Shen Linyue?"

Shen Linyue and He Xiao exchanged a glance. Because she had explained the similarities between herself and her future self countless times, she was not worried that He Xiao would doubt her identity.

"My name is Lin Yue. The Shen Lin Yue you mentioned must be my older sister." Shen Lin Yue smiled, her radiance shining even brighter.

The female teacher was still in a daze, staring at her for a while, seemingly processing the facts she had just said.

After a long pause, she smiled helplessly and said, "I see. You two sisters look so alike. I'm sorry, I mistook you for someone else."

Shen Linyue shook her head, her gaze falling on the textbooks she was holding: "Are you going to class?"

The female teacher suddenly realized what she was doing, slapped her forehead in annoyance, and said, "No, I was delivering some materials and almost forgot the time. Let's talk another day. Goodbye."

The female teacher waved and left, leaving the four people standing there looking at each other in bewilderment.

"Oh, you must have mistaken me for someone else. You really are the eldest brother's aunt?" Gu Yi'an said.

Su Xiao was a little slow to react: "Wait, let me catch my breath."

He Xiao coldly glanced at the two of them, his gaze landing on Shen Linyue's face: "Are you leaving now?"

Shen Linyue looked directly into He Xiao's eyes: "I didn't ask your name just now. Taipei is so big, will we meet again next time?"

He Xiao: "..."

He then looked at Gu Yi'an and Su Xiao: "You two go back first, you take Su Xiao home."

Before Gu Yi'an could speak, Su Xiao suddenly asked, "Aren't you and He Xiao siblings?"

Her slow reaction time amused Shen Linyue, who said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you, these two relationships shouldn't be much different, right?"

She didn't explain at first because He Xiao valued his reputation, and she was willing to protect it. She turned a blind eye to He Xiao giving her an identity without her consent and never thought of explaining.

Having spent so much time with Su Xiao, she had long since forgotten about it.

Su Xiao glanced at He Xiao and then at Shen Linyue. Under He Xiao's oppressive gaze, she quietly walked to Shen Linyue's side and whispered.

Are we good friends now?

Shen Linyue asked in confusion, "Of course."

Su Xiao continued, "So, given our relationship, can He Xiao call me 'Auntie' now?"

Suddenly, her seniority seemed to have risen, from a secret admirer to an elder. This process happened overnight. Although she had already decided not to like He Xiao anymore, she was still quite happy about the promotion.

Shen Linyue: "..." She didn't expect that Su Xiao cared about this, and she couldn't help but laugh and cry.

She hesitated for a moment, then pondered, "I guess so? Haha!"

He Xiao's cold, narrow eyes fell on the two girls whispering to each other, and he strongly suspected that they were talking about him.

"What are you talking about?" he asked dangerously, narrowing his eyes.

Su Xiao immediately stood up straight, completely oblivious to the fact that she was trying to hide something, and shook her head vigorously.

"nothing."

He Xiao clearly didn't believe it. Su Xiao couldn't hide her feelings; she would steal glances at him every now and then, suppressing a laugh. She looked like she had ulterior motives.

He simply didn't bother to ponder the thoughts of unimportant people. After glancing at them, he looked away and warned, "You'd better be."

Su Xiao reached out and pulled on Chen Linyue's arm again: "Are you sure you don't need us to stay with you?"

Shen Linyue shook her head: "No need, you guys go back first, we have other things to do later."

Su Xiao nodded regretfully, but then, remembering that He Xiao had a motorcycle and could leave at any time, she didn't insist.

"We'll be going now, contact us if you need anything."

Shen Linyue nodded: "See you on Monday."

Soon only the two of them remained. He Xiao said, "Shall we wait here?"

Shen Linyue hesitated: "Let's go up and take a look. It's best not to miss it."

The submitted documents should be ready soon.

He Xiao had no objection, and the two went up again, but instead of searching class by class, they waited at the stairwell.

The female teacher who had just disappeared soon emerged from the class where Jiang Jinyu was giving a lecture.

He glanced at the two of them and was momentarily surprised, then smiled and quickly walked over.

Were you waiting for me?

Shen Linyue smiled politely: "Yes, teacher, we have something we'd like to ask you about my sister. Do you have a moment?"

The female teacher was taken aback. She looked He Xiao up and down before finally focusing her gaze on her face. The resemblance was striking.

She nodded: "Sure, my name is Ke Yin. Shall we talk in my office?"

Shen Linyue said, "Thank you, Teacher Ke."

Ke Yin was very talkative throughout the journey. She asked about the two of them and learned that Shen Linyue had returned to China because she was curious about her sister.

I came to Taipei University to relive the memories of when my sister and brother-in-law studied and fell in love here.

Ke Yin was very moved and talked a lot about Shen Linyue's university days, her eyes full of nostalgia.

It turns out that Ke Yin and Shen Linyue were roommates in the same dormitory and were in the same department, so their relationship was even closer, like that of close friends. However, after she graduated with a master's degree, she continued to work at the school, while Shen Linyue got married and had children after graduating from university.

For the first two years, the two remained in contact and occasionally met up for meals. However, Ke Yin was quite busy with work, and their contact gradually faded.

Unexpectedly, she later completely lost contact with him, and rumors about Shen Linyue and He Liyu spread like wildfire. She wanted to inquire about her friend's situation, but she never received a reply.

"By the way, I played a part in He Liyu's success in winning over A Yue back then." As she spoke, the gentle emotion in her eyes deepened.

It felt like we were back in the day, years ago, when she helped He Liyu catch up with Shen Linyue.

Shen Linyue never expected to hear gossip about her future self at this time. For some reason, just thinking about that scene made her feel hot all over.

"Were you just delivering documents to Uncle Jiang?" He Xiao asked.

Listening to his parents' love story, his face remained completely expressionless, as if he had been through countless battles.

"Uncle Jiang?" Ke Yin paused slightly, looking somewhat bewildered.

Shen Linyue coughed and introduced, "His name is He Xiao."

The meaning is quite clear: he is the only son of business tycoon He Liyu, and also the son of her friend.

Ke Yin's reaction was one of shock, followed by an "I knew it" attitude.

“I thought he looked a lot like He Liyu and A Yue, and I didn’t expect it to be true.” Her eyes reddened slightly. “Your mother even asked me to help her choose a name after you were born.”
