Chapter 25 Was someone deliberately framed?

Shen Linyue also saw the timid and obviously frightened boy, but she dared not make a conclusion as to whether he did it on purpose or unintentionally.

He Xiao is so famous in Taipei that few people dare to target him. She also felt that something was wrong, but her confused mind at the moment did not allow her to think too much.

Her heart pounded even more when she saw the redness and swelling on his arm, and her eyes reddened: "He Xiao, shall we go to the hospital?"

Her voice was very soft, with a gentle, coaxing quality.

He Xiao was indeed in a lot of pain, but he pretended to be relaxed when he saw his panicked aunt.

"I'm fine, it just looks scary. I can play a few more rounds without any problem."

As soon as he finished speaking, he met Shen Linyue's resentful and angry gaze. His voice faltered, and he had no choice but to look away and pretend he hadn't seen her.

"You guys train a few more times, the match is tomorrow, so refine your tactics then." This was said to Gu Yi'an.

Gu Yi'an's brows were still tightly furrowed as he looked anxiously at his arm: "Boss, why don't you listen to our sister and go to the hospital to get checked out? You're the backbone of our team."

He Xiao remained relaxed and nonchalant: "I said it's nothing, and it's nothing. I'll still play tomorrow as usual, and I won't let certain people's plans succeed."

His voice wasn't loud, but everyone present heard it clearly, and their faces turned angry and speechless.

Some people even started cursing.

"Don't worry, Brother Xiao, we'll definitely crush those bastards from No. 1 Middle School tomorrow!"

His words successfully made everyone believe that someone from No. 1 Middle School had hired someone to sabotage He Xiao, the main marshal, and also successfully stirred up public anger, making everyone's fighting spirit soar.

He Xiao raised an eyebrow but didn't explain clearly. He only spoke up to calm things down after listening to everyone's heated discussion.

"Alright, let's continue training." He Xiao looked at Shen Linyue, who was still staring intently at him, and coughed lightly, covering his mouth. "It's fine, I'm really okay. You wait over there, I'll take you to buy milk tea later."

Shen Linyue pursed her lips and asked with a worried look in her eyes, "Do you know who did this to you?"

"It was an accident, just an accident. Don't worry, it'll be over soon," he said, unusually softly.

Although Shen Linyue really wanted to take him to the hospital for a check-up, she held back when she saw his insistence and could only take his schoolbag back to sit down.

But when she looked up, she saw the girl who had been sitting next to her earlier, now looking at He Xiao with slightly red eyes and an expression of wanting to say something but holding back.

Shen Linyue: ?

Does this girl like He Xiao?

She wanted to go over and comfort her, but as soon as she took two steps, the little girl noticed her and lowered her head in a panic. When she raised her head again, she had a forced smile on her face.

"Is your boyfriend alright? Doesn't he need to go to the hospital?" She paused for a moment, then said, "Oh, we actually came to watch Jiang play basketball. We have to go now, goodbye."

Before Shen Linyue could even say a word, the girl grabbed her bewildered friend and ran away.

Shen Linyue looked shocked and Erkang said: Wait, sister, let me tell you first!

However, the two girls didn't see her vivid expression and had already run far away. Only after no one could see her did Su Xiao let go of her friend's hand.

Her friend then realized what was going on: "Huh? He Xiao actually has a girlfriend?! Oh my god, I just said I saw He Xiao's abs, I'm doomed."

Su Xiao was in low spirits, her head hanging low: "Yeah, I won't watch He Xiao play basketball anymore."

friend:……

"Oh, Xiaoxiao, I didn't know He Xiao had a girlfriend. I'm sorry, I've hurt your feelings."

Su Xiao forced a smile and shook her head: "It's okay, it's my fault."

She knew He Xiao had a girlfriend, but she still came to see him with hope, only to find that they hadn't broken up! And she felt like a clown.

...

The training session lasted for another half hour.

When they finished, Shen Linyue was the first to rush up and support He Xiao, anxiously asking him, "Does your hand hurt a lot? I noticed you weren't doing well in the second half."

If He Xiao started out playing like a fish in water, scoring goals like crazy, then later he became more reserved and only scored one or two goals.

He Xiao's furrowed brows relaxed, and he sneered: "My body is in great shape. You think you can hurt me by falling down? You underestimate my physical strength."

Shen Linyue stared at him, feeling that her eldest son was being hypocritical.

"Let me see your hands." She said, reaching out to grab his arm, but He Xiao dodged her.

"Alright, it's not good to be seen like this in public. Let's go back, I'll take you to buy milk tea." He Xiao didn't care at all.

Shen Linyue: ...Don't you want to listen to what you're saying?

After saying goodbye to Gu Yi'an, Shen Linyue followed behind He Xiao without saying a word.

It was already past 6:30, and there were hardly any people left at the school.

The setting sun cast a long shadow of the boy ahead. He casually slung a black backpack over his shoulder with one hand, while the other was in his pocket, exuding a carefree and unrestrained air.

Perhaps he didn't hear the commotion behind him, he turned around and clicked his tongue softly.

"Can you run faster? You can't keep up with me even when I walk so slowly. Why don't you just donate your legs?"

Shen Linyue: ...

The atmosphere from before vanished instantly; her eyebrows furrowed, and her anger flared.

This person is truly infuriating; once they open their mouth, they're enough to drive you crazy.

She only went out of kindness to him because he was injured, but he still acted like the worst person ever.

Shen Linyue was furious. She rushed up and kicked him, but refrained from touching his arm.

"He Xiao! I'm your aunt, how can you talk to your elders like that?"

He Xiao was almost used to her touching him anytime, anywhere. Standing still with her eyebrows slightly raised, she retorted, "Oh, you still remember that you're my aunt? Then why don't you ever give way to me, your junior? You hit people at the drop of a hat, you're not like a girl at all. Only Old He can put up with you."

Shen Linyue: !!!

"It's clearly your sharp tongue that's causing this! With a mouth like that, He Xiao will never find a girlfriend in his lifetime! Humph!"

He Xiao: "Damn it, you're so spoiled! Don't think I won't do anything to you just because you're my aunt!"

"Wow! This is outrageous! You actually want to hit me? I'm going to tell He Liyu that you bullied me when I get back!"

He Xiao: ?

"Are you a primary school kid? Trying to tattle on others?"

As the sun set, two figures, one tall and one short, chased and played along the school's wooded path. Occasionally, one could hear He Xiao's irritating voice and Shen Linyue's angry roar.

Jiang Zhixing was not far behind the two, and he witnessed their playful banter and bickering.

His cool gaze followed the two figures until they disappeared before he looked away, then lowered his head slightly to look at the screen on his phone.

I captured this by accident just now. I don't know why I took this picture. My finger is on the delete button but I haven't pressed it yet.

He frowned, about to put his phone away, when a message popped up and he ignored the photo.
