When Qi Yan walked into the classroom from the back door, he almost bumped into the table behind him.
Extra tables?
to whom?
Out of the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of someone coming in through the front door, walking towards him.
Qi Yan quickened his pace, took a big step forward, and sat back in his original position.
I didn't even have time to put down my schoolbag.
The long legs under the table pushed the chair next to it outwards as if by accident.
However, when Tang Qiqi walked to the back, he suddenly made a sharp turn and put the things in his hand on the table next to him.
Qi Yan paused in taking off his schoolbag.
At this moment, the enthusiastic boy Xue Sui turned his head and looked at Qi Yan with an expression that seemed to be expecting praise. "I didn't expect the teacher to be so efficient. He changed it immediately after he finished speaking yesterday."
After saying that, he bent down and glanced at the distance between the two tables.
good.
Just right.
"Change?" Qi Yan frowned.
"Yeah, didn't Brother Qi tell you to change it yesterday?"
What he said...
What did he say?
He said it!!
Qi Yan resisted the urge to punch his head, looked at the table which was still some distance away, pursed his lips and looked away.
At this time, the head teacher walked in with books in his arms.
Standing in front of the podium, he glanced towards the back.
After making sure there were no problems, he cleared his throat and said, "Ever since your previous class monitor transferred to another school, this position has been vacant. Is there any student who would like to take on this important task?"
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone who had been looking at the podium with curiosity shrank back.
Neat and tidy.
The only ones left were Tang Qiqi and Qi Yan at the back.
The head teacher had anticipated this outcome and quickly added, "We don't look at grades, we only look at leadership and sense of responsibility."
There are still only two heads at the back that have not retracted.
"How about this, let's vote anonymously."
"Teacher, can we vote for anyone?" one of the girls asked in a low voice.
"right."
Tang Qiqi was never interested in these things. When the teacher came over to collect the notes, she handed in a blank one and chose to abstain.
The head teacher was counting at the top, and people below started whispering to each other.
At the beginning, the head teacher kept smiling and nodding.
But the further it went on, the more the smile on his face froze.
There was only surprise in his eyes.
Finally, he raised his head, collected his emotions, and then spoke slowly, "Well, the results are out."
The whispers stopped abruptly, and everyone looked up curiously at the person on the stage.
The head teacher picked up a pen and wrote the results on the blackboard.
When they saw the names on the blackboard, the crowd started talking to each other.
Tang Qiqi was disturbed by the noise and looked up impatiently.
The name on the blackboard unexpectedly caught my eye.
Qi Yan, Tang Qiqi.
And, same ticket.
"Teacher, what should we do if we have the same ticket?"
"Yeah, we can't have two squad leaders."
Even though I have been a class teacher for so many classes, this is the first time I have encountered such a situation.
He cast his gaze towards the person at the back, hesitated for a moment and asked, "Student Qi, will you cast your vote?"
I asked this question without expecting a response.
There is a tacit understanding between the teacher and the bad student.
Do not disturb each other.
No matter how curious the people in the class were, they didn't dare turn their heads away at this moment.
All attention was focused on the head teacher's face.
Not getting a response was expected. Although I felt a little disappointed, as the homeroom teacher, I quickly thought of a solution. "Well, if that's the case..."
The rest of his words came to an abrupt end when he saw the note being slowly raised at the back.
Three neat, powerful words with clear strokes - Tang Qiqi.
