Chapter 2 Want to Drink Milk
The midday sun was so intense it made people dizzy and lightheaded.
Ye Wan felt a churning in her stomach and couldn't help but squat down on the path and vomit.
"Can you hurry up? The ants on the roadside are going to be doomed, they're going to drown because of you!" Lin Anyuan looked up at the sky and urged impatiently.
Ye Wan squatted on the ground, her voice hoarse and weak, "I feel terrible."
She's more unlucky than an ant, okay? She was squeezed and walked that stretch of road just now, which almost killed her on the spot.
Her soft, mosquito-like voice, like willow catkins blown by the wind, makes one's heart itch with desire.
Lin Anyuan looked down at her, and suddenly remembered the pitiful little dog by the roadside. He clicked his tongue and reached out his hand.
The moment Ye Wan grabbed it, a cool sensation traveled up her fingertips, instantly making her feel a little better.
"Come on up!"
Looking at his thin back, Ye Wan couldn't help but ask, "You look so frail, can you really manage?"
"Why don't you try it tonight and see if it works?"
As Lin Anyuan spoke, his sharp eyes looked over.
Ye Wan was startled and fell to the ground with a thud.
Before she could react, both her hands were grabbed and she was suddenly hoisted onto her back, making her almost throw up.
Why is she being so sarcastic? The more spineless a man is, the more he hates it when others say he's no good!
With her chest pressed against her back, Lin Anyuan lifted her buttocks and weighed them in his hands. "They are indeed quite big. You must have breasts, right?"
Milk?
What kind of milk?
Ye Wan's expression was incredibly interesting; she wanted to curse, but instead, she spat out water.
Feeling the dampness on his back, Lin Anyuan paused for a moment. "There's quite a bit. Hold it in, don't let it leak out and go to waste."
Ye Wan felt as if she had been struck by lightning.
Where would a virgin like her get breast milk? This person is not only foul-mouthed, but also mentally ill.
What a waste of such good looks.
"you……"
He opened his mouth and gulped down another mouthful of water.
"Tsk, it really leaked a lot. At least this one or two flowers weren't such a bad loss."
Ye Wan was both ashamed and angry. She was furious and lost consciousness completely.
...
"Second sister, when will Mother wake up? I want to drink milk."
"What mother? This is a servant that Father bought to serve us. Sanya, don't make up names. Father said she's still sick. What's the rush?"
She heard children talking in her ear. Ye Wan opened her eyes with difficulty and saw two girls, one big and one small, huddled together beside her.
The two girls were of different heights, one tall and one short.
The older one was about eight years old, very thin and tanned dark, with a red wildflower pinned in his hair, making him look quite comical.
The little one looked about three or four years old, with dry, yellow hair, a pointed little face, big eyes, and a mouth smeared with green sap, looking filthy.
"Father, Mother is awake!"
When the little girl saw Ye Wan open her eyes, she happily shouted to the outside.
Where did this child come from?
Ye Wan was puzzled when Lin Anyuan walked in, wearing a tattered outfit with patches upon patches, straw sandals, and carrying a chipped bowl.
Once he took off his long robe, the man seemed like a completely different person. If he hadn't spoken, Ye Wan would have thought he was his twin brother.
"When you wake up, drink a bowl of ginger soup. We don't have money to call a doctor for you. If you dare to die, I'll throw you into the mountains to feed the wolves before you breathe your last!"
After saying this, Lin Anyuan put the bowl on the table and called out to the dark-skinned, thin girl.
"Er Ya, come and help your mother!"
Er Ya pouted and glared at Ye Wan on the kang. "I don't want to serve anyone, Dad. Let San Ya help me."
After saying that, he ran out.
"You brat, Miss's acting up again!" Lin Anyuan muttered as he came over to help Ye Wan up.
Ye Wan was pulled up and leaned against the colorless blanket behind her.
He glanced at the little girl sucking her fingers beside him and asked in a hoarse voice, "You have three children already? Where is their mother?"
Didn't they say they lacked guts? Where did the child come from?
Second Sister, Third Sister, and above them is Big Sister?
This lecher doesn't look very old, but his child is already so big. How old was he when he first had sex? Or does he just not look old?
"They ran away because they thought their family was poor. From now on, you're their mother. Drink up! Hurry up and finish so I can breastfeed my daughter!"
Lin Anyuan brought the bowl over as he spoke.
Ye Wan wanted to say that she didn't have any milk, but the bowl was shoved right up to her mouth.
"I...I'll do it myself."
Ye Wan felt dizzy after moving slightly.
Lin Anyuan frowned, "I'll feed you, otherwise if your hand slips and you spill it, there won't be any ginger to cook you a second bowl!"
"Cough cough..."
As soon as the bowl was placed on top, Ye Wan choked and started coughing.
Sanya chimed in from the side, "Dad, you have to feed him mouth-to-mouth. I think that's how Erdan's mother fed his dad his medicine."
"So troublesome?" Lin Anyuan frowned, took a sip, and leaned over.
Caught off guard by the sudden mouthful, Ye Wan felt as if she were on fire.
Her first kiss!
Just as the person came back, Ye Wan panicked, unleashed her immense power, snatched the bowl, and drank it all in one gulp.
"I've finished drinking."
She doesn't want to be fed mouth-to-mouth; it's disgusting!
"Not bad, quite strong, looks like he won't die." Lin Anyuan nodded with satisfaction upon seeing this.
Then, ignoring Ye Wan's gaze, he picked up the teapot on the table, poured half a bowl of water into it, rinsed it in the bowl, and handed it to Sanya.
Sanya gulped it down, licked her dirty lips, and looked at the rim of the bowl with lingering satisfaction, then licked it again.
Ye Wan was stunned.
"Lie still, and just say so if you need to pee!"
"Sanya, come out and play, don't disturb your mother's rest!"
After the two of them left, Ye Wan struggled to support herself, her face contorted in a bitter expression as she looked at the dilapidated house.
The mud wall had several cracks, and a few pieces of animal skin were nailed to it. Inside the room, there was only a rough table and a long bench with a teapot on it, and a dusty quilt on the kang (a heated brick bed).
There was nothing else.
Is this family really that poor? They can't even afford to call a doctor. I hope she won't make it through.
Perhaps it was because she drank the ginger soup that she started sweating, but Ye Wan became dizzy again, and her whole body ached.
Damn it, this damn time travel is even worse than the apocalypse!
If only she had some space, she remembered there were two fever reducers in there.
She died during the apocalypse. Compared to others whose superpowers of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth were incredibly powerful, she only awakened a spatial ability that wasn't very useful.
Even in the apocalypse, there weren't many supplies left for her, and she didn't even have a chance to use her spatial abilities many times before she was unlucky enough to be killed by the zombie king.
The room quickly darkened, and Ye Wan felt a blur before her eyes, finding herself in a spatial dimension.
Her space is still there?
Ye Wan was overjoyed. Relying on her memory, she quickly found the last two fever-reducing pills on a broken table and drank them.
At this moment, the entire view of the space appeared before her eyes. Originally, her space was just an empty, misty area.
Now another spring has appeared, and there is land around it. When you look up, the sun is already out.
Ye Wan scooped up the spring water and drank it, her mind instantly becoming much clearer.
Is this an upgrade?
With water, land, and sunshine, wouldn't she be able to grow things? She'd never have to worry about food or drink again.
I saw a small wooden branch with some roots in the dry grass at the end of the kang (heated brick bed), so I picked it up and planted it in my space, then watered it with some spring water.
After I finished planting, I realized that the branches of this tree were all dry. Would it survive?
The next second, tiny buds sprouted from the wooden branch.
"Thank God, I'm saved!"
Ye Wan excitedly spun around in place several times.
Hearing footsteps, he hurriedly retreated from the space.
"What are you doing?"
