Chapter 76 Father-in-law's View of Son-in-Law
Ye Wan has a thick skin and a sweet voice.
The word "Mother" brought tears to Aunt Cai's eyes, and she stood up and hugged Ye Wan.

Ye Wan chuckled and placed a chicken leg on the coughing old man's plate. "Dad's right, we really can't judge a book by its cover."
The old man nodded, his face beaming.
Ye Wan turned her head and put another duck leg on Lin Anyuan's plate. "Lin Anyuan, you eat this. It's not spicy."
Lin Anyuan smiled broadly.
The old man looked up and sized him up. "A grown man can't handle spicy food?"
Aunt Cai kicked the old man under the table and whispered, "I'm telling you, old man, there are plenty of people who can't handle spicy food. When you first married me, you couldn't handle spicy food either, so how dare you criticize others?"
He's still my son-in-law, no matter what. How can you talk to your son-in-law like that on our first meeting?
The old man isn't usually one to nitpick, so why is he acting like a father-in-law?
