Chapter 184 Calling her "girl" repeatedly
"Is there something you need?"
Hearing the commotion outside, and seeing Ye Wan groggily open her eyes, Lin Anyuan lifted the carriage curtain, his tone icy.

Li Er then realized what was happening, blushing and stammering, "Hello, miss, do you still have that porridge in your car from last time? Could you share some with my brother? He can't eat anything else."
"I won't eat your food for free. Can I exchange this for it?"
As Li Er spoke, he held up both hands, in which was a gold bracelet.
Ye Wan glanced at it; it was a style worn by women, and moreover, it was for children. "We're out of porridge, but I have two pastries here. You can take them and let him try them. I'll give them back to you when I cook the porridge later."
"Thank you, young lady. You are so kind, beautiful and compassionate. Please accept this."
Li Er placed the gold bracelet on the edge of the carriage.
Ye Wan handed her some pastries, then called her back, saying, "It's just two pastries, you don't need to give me this. You can take it back."
"Since you've taken us in, please accept this as payment for our meal." Li Er said softly, his face flushed.
"Alright, then I won't stand on ceremony." Ye Wan gestured for Lin Anyuan to pick up the bracelet.

Lin Anyuan pulled down the curtain, blocking Li Er's view.
Li Er shrank his neck and muttered under his breath, "How can someone so good-looking still swear?"
"Why are you still angry with a little girl?" Ye Wan yawned from inside the carriage.
This girl's disguise as a man is not very convincing; her ear piercings are not covered, making it easy for people to see through her disguise. However, the young girl is quite grateful.

Ye Wan woke up from a good nap and started preparing lunch.
To speed up their journey, they only stayed in guesthouses at night, and ate their meals on the road whenever possible.

Ye Wan stirred the noodles with her chopsticks. "Drying the noodles makes them easier to preserve. You can cook them when you want to eat them while you're traveling."
