The neighboring city isn't very far, about a two-and-a-half-hour drive. Since we were traveling with two children, Pei Wu booked a themed family hotel next to an amusement park when she was researching the trip. The hotel grounds are very large, and the amusement facilities in the hotel grounds alone are equivalent to a small amusement park. There is a swimming pool, a themed restaurant, and a little train that the children love most, which goes directly to the booked house.
The hotel rooms are also different from typical hotel accommodations; they are more like guesthouses, consisting of small, detached villas, making them more suitable for families traveling together.
"Can we ride that little train?" Jin Fei pointed to the pink little train at the entrance of the hotel park.
"We still have luggage in the car," Jin Wei said. "How about we wait until we get to the amusement park..."
"You take them to sit down, I'll drive."
"..." Jin Wei glanced at Pei Wu but did not speak.
Pei Wu then said, "How about I take them to sit down?"
After much deliberation, Jin Wei decided to take the two children on the miniature train himself, since Jin Fei and Jin Xiao were only a few years old and there were many uncontrollable factors.

Soon, Jin Wei got out of the car and Pei Wu took over driving.
"I'll be waiting for you inside the house."

Jin Wei led the two children out of the car and walked towards the direction of the little train. Only after Pei Wu's car was out of sight did Jin Fei ask Jin Wei, "Will she become our 'mother'?"
Jin Wei was slightly taken aback by what the child said. He had indeed never mentioned the topic of 'mother' in front of the child.

“She’s the person in Dad’s phone photo album. Dad often stares at her picture and then blankly. And you two just held hands, so is she the person Dad likes?” Jin Fei said.

Unlike Jin Fei, Jin Xiao has memories of the game.

Jin Wei blushed at the children's questions, and after feigning a light cough, he softly hummed in response.
"If you like her, then go for it! Go, Dad!"
The wind whipped up by the moving train ruffled Jin Wei's hair. He repeated Bian Jinfei's words, "Win her over?"
The child spoke unintentionally, but Jin Wei listened intently.
Recalling the awkward scene he had with Pei Wu at his home last time, he raised an eyebrow slightly.
This situation is beyond his expectations. He never thought that he and Pei Wu would fall in love, or even travel together with their child.
Pei Wu arrived at the booked guesthouse before Jin Wei.
Each detached villa has a unique design, surrounded by greenery and featuring a small garden with a swimming pool. The interior design is also very child-friendly, with child-sized washbasins and rooms themed around forests, aviation, and the starry sky.
The room is decorated with cartoon designs that will make children happy, and the refrigerator is thoughtfully stocked with snacks that children will like. Even the toiletries provided are from brands suitable for children.
After Pei Wu parked the car, she took the luggage out of the car and placed it in the entrance hall. A little while later, she saw Jin Wei and the two children getting on and off the small train not far away.
The design of the miniature train includes a stop at the location of each room.
Pei Wu stood at the door and waved to Jin Wei and the other two, a faint smile on her face. The wind blew her long hair, and with the beautiful garden behind her as the backdrop, it was like a beautiful landscape painting.
"Is the little train fun?"
"It's alright," Jin Wei replied.
"Do you think it's fun?" Pei Wu asked Jin Xiao and Jin Fei, bending over and half-supporting herself on her knees.
"Children's tricks." Jin Fei tilted her head haughtily.
If she hadn't wanted to talk to Jin Wei, she wouldn't have suggested taking a ride on the little train.
Pei Wu's smile deepened as she listened, and she asked Jin Xiao, "What about you? Do you find it fun?"
"It's...not bad."
