Chapter 33 Seducing Her: He Was Like a Dog with a Tight Collar
Nanxing covered her mouth and laughed: "Of course it's a good thing for serving people. If you learn from it and study it more, no woman will dislike it."
Qi Bai glanced at the booklet in his hand again, then quickly stuffed it into his pocket as if it were burning his hand, and bowed to Nan Xing, saying, "Thank you."
"No need to be so polite. If you have any problems in the future, feel free to ask me. I sincerely hope that you and Miss Yue can get along well."
After all, Qi Baitong is really easy to talk to. If Miss Yue's family gets a fierce young master in the future, he won't be so easy to get along with.
Upon hearing this, Qi Baitong sat up straighter and said solemnly, "I am extremely grateful."
Two groups of people were in the courtyard, both enjoying themselves and chatting happily.
Suddenly, with a "snap," the door opened, and Xi Feng, wearing a coat, walked out and leaned against the door.
Upon seeing this, Li Yaoguang let out a scream, and Nanxing turned pale with fright.
"What is he doing here?!" Li Yaoguang pointed a trembling finger at Xifeng.
Gu Shanyue remained calm: "He's recuperating here. He'll leave once he's healed."
"Who said I was leaving? Since you saved me, I'm staying here and not leaving." Xi Feng spread his hands, seemingly pleased with himself for scaring the person.
As soon as he finished speaking, Qi Baitong's face darkened.
Nanxing looked at Qi Baitong, then at Xifeng, and felt as if he had figured something out.
Could it be that Gu Shanyue truly loves Xifeng, which is why she kept him alive to recover even when Xifeng tried to assassinate her? No wonder even a composed person like Qi Baitong sought his advice on techniques.
"You have no choice but to go or not," Qi Baitong said coldly. She stepped forward and kicked the person inside, slamming the door shut. She turned back and smiled gently at Gu Shanyue, "You can continue playing. Don't worry about him."
After saying that, he walked back to Nanxing's side, and Nanxing shuddered for no reason.
In this light, Li Yaoguang's inner courtyard is still better; at least there are no martial arts masters kicking him from time to time.
The group had a pleasant conversation, and Li Yaoguang even stayed for a meal before leaving at dusk.
The laughter and chatter in the courtyard subsided, leaving only Gu Shanyue and Qi Baitong.
The warm yellow light of the setting sun shone down, illuminating the moon's face on Gushan Mountain. Her hair turned golden, her eyelashes melted, and her eyes were filled with relaxed smiles.
Qi Baitong looked at her and couldn't help but smile.
Even though he hadn't had a chance to say more than a few words to Gu Shanyue all day, Li Yaoguang completely occupied all of Gu Shanyue's time, but Gu Shanyue's gloomy mood these past few days seemed to have been broken by Li Yaoguang.
Seeing Gu Shanyue happy made him happier than he thought.
"Qi Baitong," Gu Shanyue called to him.
"I am here."
Qi Baitong walked over, and Gu Shanyue squinted at his figure walking in the backlight, lazily asking, "You and Nanxing seemed to be having a good chat. What did you talk about?"
This was the first time she had ever seen Qi Baitong engage in such a pleasant conversation with someone.
Qi Baitong's fingertips curled slightly. Thinking of the booklet on her chest, she paused before saying, "He taught me how to serve you."
He found it difficult to lie to Gu Shanyue, and he didn't want to lie either.
Even after saying just one sentence, his entire face turned bright red.
Gu Shanyue didn't know if she understood what he meant, she just said "Oh" and waved to him.
Qi Baitong leaned down, and Gu Shanyue spoke: "I suddenly remembered that I am your master, but it seems that I have not taught you anything."
It was just a casual remark back then, and Qi Baitong even performed the apprenticeship ceremony, treating her like a master. But she immediately forgot about it. If Qi Baitong hadn't mentioned today that Nanxing would teach him, she would have almost completely forgotten about it.
Seeing Gu Shanyue's troubled expression, Qi Baitong gently stroked her slightly furrowed brow with his fingers and said softly, "This is fine too."
He already had a master, so how could he refuse to become Gu Shanyue's disciple?
He would gladly accept any relationship that could deepen, complicate, and make their connection more complex and difficult to resolve.
One by one, he longed for countless threads to connect him and Gu Shanyue, threads that could never be untied.
Even if you wanted to abandon him, it would take a little effort.
"Really?" Gu Shanyue asked doubtfully. "Isn't it a dereliction of duty for a master who teaches nothing?"
“How could that be?” Qi Baitong laughed, his icy gaze melting into a gentle spring stream. He squatted down beside her and gently took her hand. “I can take care of your chores, practice swordsmanship with you, fly over countless mountains with you, and see you every day… These are the simplest and happiest days I’ve had in all these years, because of you.”
Gu Shanyue's brows relaxed, and a relaxed smile appeared on her lips: "Now that you mention it, I'm doing a pretty good job as a master."
Although it seems like nothing much was done, the apprentice's satisfaction shows that the master is not bad either.
"It's not just good, it's fantastic."
Qi Baitong straightened her slightly messy long hair, looked up at her, and his eyes were as dark and bright as stars.
Being by her side, all the pain and torment of the past could be forgotten, and he felt immense happiness.
He gazed at Gu Shanyue, and Gu Shanyue's clear eyes looked back at him.
Their gazes lingered in the warm glow of the setting sun.
Qi Baitong's heart pounded like a flag fluttering in the wind, pounding incessantly.
Gu Shanyue blinked: "Good disciple, Master is hungry."
Qi Baitong was slightly taken aback, then chuckled, revealing a hint of her canine tooth at the corner of her lips. Her hair still emitted a warm, fluffy glow, making her calm and aloof face appear somewhat adorable.
"I'll go cook."
Gu Shanyue stared at him, then suddenly reached out and pinched his cheeks, pulling them apart.
Qi Baitong didn't resist, letting her knead and pull him like dough, even with a smile on her face the whole time.
He liked her being near him, in any way.
Gu Shanyue played for a while before raising her eyes, and Qi Baitong was looking at her quietly and gently.
Gu Shanyue gently patted his head, coaxing him like a puppy: "Good boy."
Qi Baitong's smile deepened, his eyes shone even brighter, and he suppressed his impulses, only nuzzling her hand with his head.
After dinner, Gu Shanyue still hadn't seen Qi Baitong. Usually, Qi Baitong was always by her side, and she could see him as soon as she turned her head.
Even at night, he would stay with her until she fell asleep. It felt strange not being able to see her today.
Gu Shanyue combed her hair a couple of times, frowned, threw the comb aside, and got up to walk towards the west room.
She had to go and see what Qi Baitong was doing.
The moon is like a silver plate, the night breeze is cool as water, and insects are chirping.
The door to the west room was ajar. Without a second thought, Gu Shanyue pushed it open rudely: "Qi Baitong, you..."
The moonlight poured down like flowing water, and a single candle flame flickered in the wind, casting shadows that danced on the smooth lines of a young body on the bed.
Qi Baitong seemed startled and turned to look at her. Her lean and slender body was only wearing a pair of underwear, and her thin muscles rippled with her movements.
On the muscles, black ropes were wrapped around them, like snake shadows spreading in the dark night, inexplicably erotic.
“Ah Yue…” he called out to her in a hoarse voice as he parted his thin lips.
Gu Shanyue's gaze swept over his body from top to bottom, then looked up at his slightly flushed face.
Under Qi Baitong's expectant gaze, Gu Shanyue covered him with a blanket and said considerately, "You're wearing so little, be careful not to catch a cold."
Qi Baitong's flushed face turned pale instantly, and her body stiffened. He thought she liked it this way, just like Xifeng did that day.
But why is that? Is it because his body is covered in scars that disgust her?
Qi Baitong dared not look into her eyes; her eyelashes trembled and drooped.
Gu Shanyue turned around and walked out. After taking a few steps, she suddenly exclaimed "Eh!" and finally realized what was happening.
Are you trying to seduce me?
Qi Baitong's heart skipped a beat, and she stammered, "I..."
Gu Shanyue turned around, tilting her head to look him over: "Is this what Nanxing taught you?"
Qi Baitong's face burned like fire. He had no idea whether Gu Shanyue liked or disliked him. His heart was pounding so hard that he could only nod slightly.
That booklet did indeed contain such moves, but he remembered the time she spent alone with Xi Feng at the opera house that day, so he dressed up like that.
Gu Shanyue crossed her arms and strolled to the bedside, calmly lifting the blanket that had just been placed over her.
Qi Baitong's knuckles were white as she gripped the blanket so tightly, but Gu Shanyue casually lifted it open, revealing the scarred, slightly red, pale, and slender body to her.
"So you dressed up specifically for me? Why didn't you say so?"
Gu Shanyue clicked her tongue, as if blaming him for almost making her miss the show.
Qi Baitong's thin lips moved slightly. Under her direct gaze, he turned his head away, his hands hanging at his sides gripping the blanket tightly, and said in a hoarse voice, "It's my fault."
Gu Shanyue's eyes lit up; she found his appearance quite novel.
Strangely enough, when Xi Feng stood naked in front of her that day, with his fair and beautiful skin, her mood didn't fluctuate much. She just glanced at him a couple more times, as if she were looking at a meticulously painted portrait of a beautiful woman.
But the white tung tree, in particular, intrigued her in every way.
I dared not look into her eyes, at her trembling eyelashes, her slightly pursed lips, at the tense lines of her shoulders as she turned her face away…
The lacquered white tung tree is different from others.
The bed sank, and the faint scent of hibiscus leaves filled the air. Gu Shanyue sat down on the edge of the bed, getting closer to him.
Even though Qi Baitong wasn't looking at her, all her senses seemed to replace her eyes, spying on her every move.
When that hand reached out, Qi Baitong's chest heaved, and the hairs on his body seemed to stand on end.
Why aren't you looking at me?
Gu Shanyue grabbed his chin, forcibly turning his face back, and then forcefully lifted his chin.
Qi Baitong tilted her head back, her lips pressed tightly together, her eyelashes trembling like butterflies fluttering in a storm, beneath which lay dark and bewildered eyes.
"I'm telling you to watch me."
Gu Shanyue pinched his chin hard, leaving a red mark.
She rubbed her fingers together again, as if to comfort her.
Stimulated by the pain she bestowed upon him, Qi Baitong's abdominal muscles trembled with excitement.
He finally raised his eyes and looked at Gu Shanyue.
Just as he expected, Gu Shanyue was scrutinizing him with a half-smile, as if she had found a new toy.
"Are you scared?" Gu Shanyue asked.
They were so close that Gu Shanyue's breath brushed against his cheek as she spoke, warm and slightly itchy.
Qi Baitong tilted his head back, his Adam's apple bobbing rapidly: "I'm not afraid."
"Then why are you shaking?"
The moment the words left his mouth, Gu Shanyue's hand landed on his burning chest and pressed it; it was as hard as a rock.
Qi Baitong's waist and abdomen tensed, and she let out a low, muffled gasp, unable to calm her breathing.
He wasn't afraid, he was excited.
I was so excited my blood was practically boiling.
"Are you shaking even more?"
Gu Shanyue leaned closer, looked at his face, and stroked the marks left by the tight black rope with her fingers, hooking the leather rope below his Adam's apple and pulling it.
The lacquered white tung tree, like a dog with its collar pulled tight, stumbled forward.
But those dark eyes belonged to a wolf that wasn't just a dog that fawned over people; it was a wolf that was ready to devour sweet flesh and blood.
