Cheng Yu x Jiang Siyu ①
Jiang Siyu's phone had an unfamiliar app with no name and a completely black logo.
He long-pressed the icon but couldn't uninstall it. He then downloaded a well-known mobile security app to scan for viruses, but the scan results showed that his phone was perfectly normal.
Left with no other option, he could only click to enter the software.
In an instant, the screen went black, and then a line of striking white text appeared: "Please enter the name of the person you wish to take revenge on below."
Is it a prank?
Jiang Siyu tried to exit by pressing the back button, but there was no response. She then pressed and held the power button, but the phone didn't display the shutdown option as usual; it was as if the software had taken complete control of the phone.
Do I really have to enter my name to exit?
He gritted his teeth and typed "Cheng Yu" on the keyboard.
Cheng Yu was his classmate, a typical rich young master. He was handsome, but arrogant. He always raised his chin slightly when he spoke, and his eyes carried a natural sense of superiority.
The reason why Jiang Siyu and Cheng Yu don't get along is actually very simple: in every exam, Jiang Siyu always sits in first place, while Cheng Yu is always a few points behind him, and is the class's recognized perennial runner-up.
Cheng Yu enjoyed making things difficult for him. When handing out test papers, she would deliberately hide his paper, making him search for ages. When passing by him, she would intentionally bump into his desk without apologizing. Occasionally, when he left his seat, Cheng Yu would move his chair half an inch to the side, so that he almost missed his seat when he returned.
Cheng Yu disliked him, and he also disliked Cheng Yu.
The moment Jiang Siyu pressed the confirmation button, a glimmer of anticipation rose in her heart, mixed with a bit of unease. What use could this software really be?
He spent the night with a heavy heart, worried that the software might cause some trouble, but by dawn he had neither received any strange calls nor encountered anything unusual.
The next day, when Cheng Yu arrived at the classroom, she was no different from usual.
Jiang Siyu thought to herself, "It really is a fraudulent piece of junk software."
The morning passed uneventfully, and he gradually forgot about it.
During the first class in the afternoon, my phone suddenly vibrated, and an unfamiliar notification popped up on the screen: "Revenge target has been successfully loaded."
Jiang Siyu opened the software with a puzzled look. The page was no longer the input box from last night; instead, it displayed a dynamic screen.
In the center of the picture sits a tiny figure wearing a blue and white school uniform; it is a miniature version of Cheng Yu.
He was so startled he almost dropped his pen on the table. He zoomed in on the screen and could clearly see the little figure's expression and movements. It was indeed Cheng Yu, no doubt about it.
"What is this thing?" he muttered in a low voice, his fingertip unconsciously poking the little figure on the screen. The mini version of Cheng Yu on the screen immediately raised his hand.
Almost instantly, the biology teacher's voice came from the direction of the podium: "Okay, Cheng Yu, you can answer this question."
Jiang Siyu looked up abruptly and saw Cheng Yu sitting in her seat with her right hand raised, her face showing obvious confusion.
He was clearly caught off guard, his eyes darting frantically across the textbook, unable to utter a single word for a long time.
The biology teacher frowned: "What? You raised your hand but still don't know the answer? Weren't you paying attention in class?"
Seeing the other person's embarrassed look, Jiang Siyu's heart suddenly skipped a beat. She subconsciously looked down at her phone. The little figure on the screen still had its right hand raised, exactly the same as Cheng Yu's gesture.
"Jiang Siyu, please answer this question."
Jiang Siyu stood up, glanced at the questions on the blackboard, quickly reviewed the knowledge points in the textbook in her mind, and soon answered clearly and logically.
"Very good answer, very clear logic, sit down." The biology teacher nodded in satisfaction, then turned to Cheng Yu, his tone softening, "Cheng Yu, you sit down too, pay more attention in class next time."
As soon as Jiang Siyu sat down, he caught a glimpse of Cheng Yu turning his head and glaring at him fiercely as he sat down.
Jiang Siyu had no time to pay attention to any of that; his gaze fell back on the phone screen under the table, and his heart pounded.
He took a deep breath, slowly extended his finger, and gently poked the top of the little figure's head on the screen.
The next second, Cheng Yu, who was in the middle of the second row of the classroom, suddenly hissed and subconsciously raised his hand to touch his head. His brows were furrowed, and he looked around in confusion, as if looking for someone who had touched him.
It really is that little man! Its movements are actually synchronized with Cheng Yu's!
Jiang Siyu's hand holding the phone began to tremble uncontrollably, a secret, unprecedented sense of control quietly spreading in his heart.
The second period in the afternoon is physical education class, and everyone has to change into their sportswear in the locker room before going to the gymnasium.
Jiang Siyu found a corner with his tracksuit. Cheng Yu and a few other boys walked in arm in arm. As they passed Jiang Siyu, Cheng Yu deliberately bumped into his arm, causing one of the tracksuits Jiang Siyu was carrying to fall to the ground.
"Oh, so clumsy?" Cheng Yu scoffed, not even bothering to bend down and help pick it up, and went straight to the cabinet opposite.
Jiang Siyu stared at his back, her gaze darkening. She opened a mobile app and gently tapped the ankle of the little figure on the screen.
The next second, Cheng Yugang unbuttoned his school uniform and suddenly cried out "Ouch!" as he twisted his ankle and almost fell onto the cabinet.
He steadied himself by holding onto the cabinet door, frowned, rubbed his ankle, and muttered in confusion, "What happened?"
He glanced in Jiang Siyu's direction, his eyes filled with suspicion, but he couldn't find any evidence.
When Cheng Yu changed his clothes and went to the gymnasium, he was still limping. The PE teacher glanced at his foot and told him to go rest on the side.
Jiang Siyu stood in the line, watching Cheng Yu sitting on the steps kicking the ground in frustration. She quietly opened her phone and gently pressed her fingertip on the little figure's knee. Suddenly, Cheng Yu hugged her knees and frowned, unable to sit still even while resting.
"Teacher, I want to go to the infirmary." Cheng Yu raised her hand.
"Okay." The PE teacher looked at Jiang Siyu, "Class monitor, you go with him."
Jiang Siyu agreed and was about to help Cheng Yu when Cheng Yu shook off his hand, saying, "I can walk by myself." With that, she limped out of the gymnasium.
Jiang Siyu followed Cheng Yu calmly. When they were almost at the infirmary, she opened the mobile app, and the little figure on the screen was walking in sync with her.
He stared at the little figure's calves, his fingers lightly tracing the screen.
The next second, Cheng Yu, who was in front, subconsciously reached out and scratched his calf; it was so itchy.
Jiang Siyu's gaze was fixed on Cheng Yu's back, watching the other's slightly stiff gait due to discomfort. Her fingertips slowly moved up the phone screen, from the little man's calf all the way to the top of his thigh.
Cheng Yu, who was in front of him, suddenly stiffened. He instinctively squeezed his legs together and quickly pressed his hands against the base of his thighs.
He turned around abruptly and looked at Jiang Siyu.
Jiang Siyu stood just two steps away, her face showing no sign of distress, and her tone even conveyed just the right amount of concern: "What's wrong?"
Cheng Yu shook her head: "It's nothing."
As soon as he finished speaking, he turned around and quickened his pace.
The two didn't speak again and walked quickly to the infirmary. The school doctor pinched Cheng Yu's ankle, asked a few questions about his symptoms, and only said that it was a minor sprain and that the bone was not broken. He rubbed a layer of cooling liniment on his ankle and then turned to attend to his own business.
Since he had already asked the PE teacher for leave, Cheng Yu didn't plan to go back to class. He simply pulled back the curtain of a medical bed, took off his shoes, lay down, and since there was still half a class left, he might as well rest enough and go straight to the next academic class.
As Cheng Yu did all this, he didn't even spare a glance for Jiang Siyu, who was standing to the side, as if Jiang Siyu didn't exist at all.
The curtain was pulled to the very edge, completely separating the space inside the bed.
Jiang Siyu stood outside the curtain staring at her phone. The little figure on the screen was lying on a virtual medical bed, its fingers moving rapidly, clearly simulating the actions of playing a game.
He stared at it for a moment, then tapped the screen twice with his fingertip, selected the corner of the little man's clothes, and slowly slid it upwards.
Cheng Yu was playing games on the hospital bed behind the curtain when he suddenly felt a chill on his stomach. He subconsciously looked down and found that his sportswear, which had been covering him properly, had rolled up, revealing half of his fair skin.
He reached up and pulled his clothes off, assuming he'd accidentally brushed against them while turning over. But before he could re-enter the game, a familiar tingling sensation suddenly shot through his inner thigh, exactly the same feeling he'd experienced in the hallway earlier.
Cheng Yu's heart tightened, and she sat up abruptly. She lifted the leg of her athletic shorts to look at her thigh, and saw five light red finger marks clearly imprinted on her fair skin, as if she had just been pinched.
But the surroundings were empty; there wasn't a soul in sight except for himself.
