Jiang Yili x Qiu Ye ①
"Riverside Cafe, have a nice date with Young Master Jiang. Make a good first impression, understand?"
Qiu Ye rolled his eyes dramatically at the screen.
He was absolutely furious.
The core technology company under the Qiu family has recently encountered research and development obstacles and urgently needs a large amount of capital injection and technical support to overcome the difficulties.
His father was so anxious that he was like an ant on a hot pan. In the end, he came up with the terrible idea of selling his son and arranging for him to marry the young master of the Jiang family.
His mother opened the door for him, and he arrived home.
He doesn't know that Jiang Yili at all, okay?
He graduated from university less than two years ago, and his life plans are still full of where to go and what to do. How come he is suddenly being forced into the cage of marriage?
But as annoying as it was, his father had a temper; if he didn't go to see him, he was afraid his father would tear the roof off.
His family specially prepared a high-end custom-made suit for him, probably hoping he would portray himself as a refined scoundrel.
Qiu Ye didn't even look at him. He was wearing a ripped sweater, a loud iron chain around his neck, and two silver fake studs stuck on his brow bone. He hoped that this appearance would scare that young master Jiang half to death and make him back down.
He quickly stopped his modified motorcycle in front of the agreed-upon coffee shop, took off his helmet, shook his hair, and went straight inside.
He quickly identified his target.
He had seen Jiang Yili's photos before; the person in the photos was fair-skinned and as tender as freshly made tofu, and he had assumed it was overly photoshopped. Seeing her today, he realized it wasn't.
The young master, dressed in a white suit, revealed a small section of his fair wrist as he slowly sipped his coffee.
To be honest, she's very good-looking.
But no matter how beautiful it is, it's still a hassle.
He snorted, pulled out the chair opposite the other person with a swagger, and sat down with a thud.
The young master opposite him looked up at him, his eyes lighting up slightly: "Hello, are you A-Ye?"
Qiu Ye frowned deeply: "What, A-Ye?"
Why are you calling me so affectionately? Are we that close?
"Ah, I'm sorry." A hint of helplessness flashed across Jiang Yili's fair face. She subconsciously raised her hand to cover her mouth, then cautiously looked up again. "Then... husband."
Qiu Ye:......
He nearly spat out the coffee he'd just drunk. Is it really appropriate for a complete stranger to call you "husband" on our first meeting?
Fortunately, Jiang Yili didn't say anything shocking after that. She quietly drank her coffee, occasionally glancing at him with a hint of curiosity in her eyes.
Qiu Ye deliberately raised his hand and tugged at the heavy iron chain around his neck, then rubbed the fake stud on his brow bone with his fingertips. He refused to believe that this pampered young master could tolerate someone like him.
To everyone's surprise, Jiang Yili stared at his actions for a while, then suddenly blushed and whispered, "You...you're so unique."
Qiu Ye:......
Isn't this young master's thought process a bit too unusual?
As the event ended, Qiu Ye noticed that Jiang Yili's elegant white suit didn't look like she was taking a taxi, so he frowned and tossed her a helmet: "Get in."
Jiang Yili's eyes lit up. Without mentioning that his driver was actually waiting for him nearby, he obediently put on his helmet and clumsily climbed onto the back of the motorcycle.
As soon as he sat down, he gently wrapped his arms around Qiu Ye's waist from behind, carefully pressed his cheek against Qiu Ye's back, and said earnestly, "Husband, I'm ready."
Qiu Ye's grip on the handlebars tightened suddenly, almost twisting the accelerator to its maximum. He gritted his teeth and forced out, "Who taught you to call me that?"
"Isn't that what they call us? We're getting engaged soon."
Qiu Ye was too lazy to argue with him. This guy looked innocent and harmless, but he was quite eloquent.
He twisted the throttle hard, and the motorcycle roared off, taking Jiang Yili all the way to the entrance of the Jiang family villa.
As soon as the car came to a stop, Qiu Ye took off his helmet: "We're here, get off."
But Jiang Yili didn't move; she just sat in the back seat and watched him.
Qiu Ye turned around, the fake nail on his brow bone flashing under the streetlight: "Why aren't you getting off?"
Jiang Yili looked up, her fair cheeks flushed pink by the night breeze, and said earnestly, "Husband, you should give me a farewell kiss before you leave."
Qiu Ye:!
Are you alright? Who kisses you on the first date? What kind of rule is that?
Jiang Yili's eyes sparkled: "The book says that couples should kiss each other when they part."
Qiu Ye was speechless at his matter-of-fact attitude. His gaze fell on Jiang Yili's slightly pursed lips, which were very pale and glistened with moisture under the streetlights.
Sure, it's just a kiss, what's the big deal? Who's afraid of who?
Before Jiang Yili could react, he suddenly leaned in, grabbed the back of her neck with one hand, and kissed her with a force that left no room for refusal.
Jiang Yili froze, her eyes widening suddenly, her long eyelashes fluttering gently in front of him like startled butterfly wings.
In just two seconds, Qiu Ye abruptly released his grip, sat back down, but his earlobes were burning uncontrollably. He turned his face away, deliberately speaking in a harsh tone: "Satisfied now?"
Jiang Yili was still stunned, his fair cheeks flushing red at a visible speed, spreading from his cheeks all the way to his ears. He subconsciously raised his hand to touch his lips, and it took him a long time to find his voice, which was barely audible: "...Mmm."
"You..." Qiu Ye was about to speak when Jiang Yili suddenly leaned forward, her lips warm, and touched his lips.
It's very light and separates with a single touch.
Qiu Ye's mind went blank, and he couldn't say a word.
After kissing herself, Jiang Yili felt embarrassed, as if she had done something wrong. She quickly lowered her head and whispered, "Then, then I'll go in... Goodbye, husband."
