Rong Jing x Tang Yuncheng ③
When Rong Jing woke up the next day, her face looked terrible, and she felt extremely weak and sore all over for some reason.
He has been experiencing this situation frequently lately, and when he couldn't take it anymore, he decided to work from home for a few days.
These past few days, Tang Yuncheng has been delivering all the company documents that require his signature. But for some reason, he always feels even more tired after Tang Yuncheng leaves, and he doesn't know why his legs inexplicably go weak whenever he sees Tang Yuncheng.
Saturday finally arrived, and he was about to go out, having arranged to meet someone at a Western restaurant.
It was drizzling outside, and Tang Yuncheng still came to pick me up in his car.
Tang Yuncheng had no idea who Rong Jing was going to see until he saw Rong Jing hug a beautiful woman with big, wavy hair at the restaurant entrance. At that moment, the perfectly timed smile that was always on his face cracked.
Two hours later, Rong Jing walked out of the restaurant, only to find that Tang Yuncheng's car was still there.
He walked over and knocked on the car window. Tang Yuncheng rolled down the window and said, "President Rong, I'll take you home."
Rong Jing didn't think much of it; it was only natural for subordinates to work for their superiors. He sat in the back seat and said calmly, "Let's go."
He spoke for a while, but the car didn't move an inch. His brow furrowed slightly: "What...?"
Before he could finish speaking, his eyes suddenly changed; the previous indifference vanished, leaving only tenderness.
He leaned forward and asked Tang Yuncheng, "Honey, where are we going?"
What do you think?
Rong Jing noticed the coldness in his eyes and asked, somewhat puzzled, "Husband, what's wrong?"
Tang Yuncheng didn't answer, but just tilted his head and said in a cold tone, "Take off your clothes."
Rong Jing subconsciously did as he was told, and just as he unbuttoned two buttons on his shirt, Tang Yuncheng suddenly raised his hand and slapped him across the chest.
With a sharp "snap," Rong Jing cried out in pain, "It hurts..."
"Bear the pain, even if it hurts." Tang Yuncheng's voice was devoid of warmth. He raised his hand and slapped her again, this time with even more force. "Who gave you permission to meet with a woman, huh?"
Rong Jing groaned as he was hit, his chest quickly turning red. He asked blankly, "What woman..."
Tang Yuncheng grabbed his chin and forcefully turned his face towards him, his eyes fierce: "I've played with your whole body until it's worn out, who gave you the guts to go on dates with other women?"
Rong Jing didn't understand what he meant by "woman" at all. She only knew that she had made her husband angry, and said in a panic, "I'm sorry... Honey, it's all my fault. Please don't be angry."
"Is this the attitude you have for an apology?" Tang Yuncheng slapped him again.
"Whatever you want me to do, honey... I'll do it, as long as you don't get angry."
When Rong Jing woke up the next day, her body was covered with red marks, and her body was burning hot, as if it had fallen apart.
He dialed his family doctor's number, but before the doctor could arrive, his college senior, with whom he had dinner the day before, called first, saying that her car, which she had parked in front of the restaurant last night, had been scratched by someone, and the dashcam hadn't captured anyone on camera.
Rong Jing immediately offered to accompany her to the restaurant to check the security footage. When the two arrived at the restaurant and reviewed the footage, they discovered that the person who scratched the car was not a person, but just a stray dog passing by. It was a false alarm.
But the next second, Rong Jing froze. The surveillance footage showed that after he left the restaurant and got into Tang Yuncheng's car last night, the car remained parked in the same spot for a full hour and a half, with the windows closed, but the car body was shaking faintly from time to time.
The senior female student leaned over for a look and immediately gave a knowing, knowing smile: "Well, Xiao Jing, you guys are... working overtime in the car?"
Rong Jing couldn't muster a smile. What were he and Tang Yuncheng doing inside for that hour and a half?
Considering the recent feeling of being constantly tired, the inexplicable red marks on her body, and the weakness in her legs after each meeting with Tang Yuncheng, the answer was almost obvious.
He couldn't believe that Secretary Tang, who was usually so serious and rarely spoke at the company, would do such a thing, and that he had no memory of it at all. He wondered what kind of witchcraft she had used.
Rong Jing suppressed her anger and found Tang Yuncheng, confronting him about the surveillance footage.
Tang Yuncheng looked at him, his face no longer calm. He remained silent for a long time, not defending himself, but only saying in a low voice, "It's my fault, I will resign."
Rong Jing fell silent. Tang Yuncheng had been his secretary for eight years, never making a mistake at work, and the two had always worked together seamlessly. Could he really just quit like that?
But on second thought, keeping such a person around is ultimately a potential problem.
