Shi Shu x Liang Shen ③
After distributing the water, Shi Shu carried an unopened bottle of mineral water back to the ward's shady spot.
Liang Shen unscrewed the bottle cap and took two sips. His gaze inadvertently swept over and saw Shi Shu with her head down, her fingers rapidly tapping on her phone screen.
He frowned, feeling that something was off about him today. What did it matter to him whether Shi Shu's waist was thin or not?
He looked away, took out his phone, and as soon as he turned on the screen, a new update notification from Susu popped up. His eyes lit up, and he immediately clicked on it.
The video is about forty seconds long, with a white tiled wall in the background that looks like a toilet. In the video, Susu only shows her body below the shoulders, gently rubbing herself with her fingertips, her movements cautious and restrained, clearly afraid of being overheard.
Liang Shen felt a surge of heat rush to his head, but he was surrounded by classmates, so he could only glance at them quickly before stopping, thinking to himself that he must look at them repeatedly when he got back to his dorm.
Clicking on the post, Susu wrote: "It's not convenient in the dorm, so I can only film videos in the middle of the night when my roommates are asleep T_T"
Liang Shen frowned, feeling that the scene was somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite place it, so he didn't dwell on it.
He knew that Susu was a freshman like him. Just a few days ago, she complained on her social media that she was restricted everywhere after arriving at school and could only go to hotels off-campus to film videos.
Scrolling through the comments section, the first comment was left by Susu for herself: "Everyone must pay attention to sun protection, it's too hot, I even got heatstroke during military training yesterday."
Liang Shen felt extremely distressed. Susu and he were in the same city, and he knew all too well how harsh the weather was here. His wife had delicate skin, how could she withstand such sun exposure?
Without hesitation, he clicked on the tipping button and immediately gifted a 100-yuan item, leaving the message: "Get some rest."
"Liang Shen, it's time to assemble." The boy next to him gave him a push.
Liang Shen snapped back to reality and shoved his phone into his pocket.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Shi Shu also putting away her phone not far away, and their eyes met in mid-air.
Liang Shen turned his head away quickly, as if he had been burned.
Under the shade of a tree, Shi Shu rested her chin on one hand and gently tapped her phone case with the other.
He wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but it seemed like his roommate, Liang Shen, was looking at him more often today. But the thought only flashed through his mind for a moment before he quickly dismissed it.
The underwear the brand sent arrived today, and he's figuring out how to shoot the ad. He filmed it twice at a hotel off-campus a few days ago, but he didn't really like it, always worried about hidden cameras.
Fortunately, the bed curtains he bought a couple of days ago are arriving today. He plans to install them this afternoon while his roommates are at the cafeteria for dinner and take pictures on his own bed.
Liang Shen hated standing at attention, especially under the blazing sun; his eyes were practically shut. Suddenly, a thud came from beside him, and the guy next to him collapsed onto him. Liang Shen instinctively reached out to steady him, but the guy was already limp as if he had no bones.
"Send them to the infirmary!" the instructor shouted at the front of the group.
"No need, no need, I'll be fine after a rest." The boy waved his hand.
The instructor frowned and said to Liang Shen, "Send him to the sick platoon."
Liang Shen helped the man move to the shade of a tree. Just as he settled the man on the steps, Shi Shu came over with a bottle of water. The boy took it and gulped down two mouthfuls, but couldn't help choking, and water sprayed out of the corner of his mouth.
Liang Shen reacted quickly and took a step back, dodging most of the attack, but Shi Shu was standing close by, and her military training uniform was instantly soaked.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!" the boy quickly apologized.
Shi Shu frowned deeply, her expression not very pleasant, but she still said in a low voice, "It's okay, I'll go take a shower."
He turned and walked toward the toilet in the corner of the playground, gently patting the water stains off his clothes as he walked. The movement was small, but it lifted the hem of his clothes, which was heavy from being soaked in water, slightly, revealing a small patch of his fair waist and abdomen.
Liang Shen's gaze swept over unintentionally, and something seemed to flash by.
His heart skipped a beat, and he instinctively wanted to follow, but then he heard the instructor's shout from afar: "Liang Shen! Return to the team!"
Liang Shen could only forcefully retract his foot, watching Shi Shu's figure disappear at the toilet door.
