Chapter 3: Crab Roe Noodles Online Dating, Is It Reliable?

Chapter 3: Crab Roe Noodles Online Dating, Is It Reliable?

In the other men's dormitory, Guan Siqi, who had been playing games all night, woke up just past dinnertime. He yawned and wandered to the balcony in slippers like an old man strolling through the park. He washed his face, looked out at the fresh blood flowing into the campus, and sighed, "I haven't realized we're all seniors yet. The good days are numbered."

Seeing that no one actively responded to him, he walked back to the dormitory, and said in a rather dissatisfied tone, "Hey, what are you all busy with? Why don't you pay attention to me?"

Gu Yang stopped tapping on the keyboard, his eyes fixed on the computer as he took a few sips of the Coke beside him and said nonchalantly, "Stop howling. Only your brother Yang is here."

Guan Siqi then glanced at the bed near the door. The quilt was unmade but neatly spread out. Fang Qingzhuo had long since left. He leaned against the balcony doorframe, his arms folded, and made a series of desperate calls to someone: "It's so lively outside, they must have left us to go out and have fun."

Gu Yang didn't bother to reply, and continued typing in front of the computer screen with a smile in his eyes.

Guan Siqi was puzzled by the repeated shutdown reminder tone, but he had to give up for the time being. He touched his hungry stomach, glanced at the pile of snacks on Gu Yang's desk, and went to get them.

When he was only half a finger away from the target, Gu Yang unexpectedly stood up like a cat whose tail was stepped on, and blocked the screen with his body.

Guan Siqi was so frightened that he stepped back: "Gu Yang, are you possessed by an evil spirit?"

He patted his chest to soothe his weak heart, secretly glanced at Gu Yang's computer interface through the crack, and then picked up a bag of potato chips. "I just took a bag of food. Are you guarding me like this? Are you doing something bad behind my back?"

Gu Yang sat down again: "Nothing, I've been sitting for too long, I want to move around."

It was a blatant act of deceit. Guan Siqi put on a smile and hurried on, "It's nothing. I saw it all. Who were you chatting with? The corners of your mouth are almost raised to your temples."

Gu Yang: "It's really nothing."

"Then what are you blocking? It can't be a girl, right?" Guan Siqi became excited.

Gu Yang pushed him away: "Just don't ask."

"Feeling guilty..." Guan Siqi took out a potato chip and threw it into his mouth. After chewing it for a few times, an idea suddenly came to his mind. He pointed out the window in surprise, "Fuck, Yangzi, look! Ah Zhu is fighting with someone downstairs."

Believing it, Gu Yang let go of his mouse and ran to the balcony, leaning over the railing to peer downstairs. Not to mention a fight, there wasn't even a soul in sight. He realized he'd been tricked. Turning back, he saw Guan Siqi, the tower thief, scrolling through his chat history with his mouse, excitedly. He was so angry he threw his slippers at him, "Guan Siqi, you're dead! See how your dad teaches you a lesson today."

The two then chased each other in the dormitory.

As Fang Qingzhuo opened the dormitory door, he ran into a civet cat jumping around in the melon field. It ran behind him, hugged him and told him: "Help! Someone is secretly having an online relationship behind our backs and I found out, and they want to kill us."

Fang Qingzhuo, who was indifferent to the matter, ruthlessly pried off the parasite hanging on his body, sat down in his chair with a heartless step, took out his charger to charge, and without even looking up, he commented: "It's good to be destroyed. The world will be peaceful."

Without Fang Qingzhuo as a shield, Gu Yang grabbed Guan Siqi's collar effortlessly.

While the situation was in turmoil, Fang Qingzhuo was quietly waiting for his phone to turn on. When it turned on successfully, several missed calls and several messages of concern were displayed. He habitually reached into his pocket to take out a cigarette, but he only took out a pack of cigarettes, and his lighter was missing.

A gust of wind swept in from the balcony, quickly and lazily sweeping away the cigarette that was about to burst out. Fang Qingzhuo suddenly had the illusion that he had lost both the wife and the army.

After a brief quarrel, Fang Qingzhuo spoke up, "Did you really talk?"

Gu Yang lowered his head embarrassedly, without saying a word but as if nodding.

Guan Siqi, who was being held against the door panel, did not forget to be sarcastic: "Oh, my dear has been called, but we haven't talked yet."

Fang Qingzhuo turned around and asked seriously, "Is online dating reliable?"

"Don't listen to his nonsense. She is from our school, so it's not an online romance." Gu Yang explained.

Guan Siqi scoffed, "You're not a big star, and you're in a secret relationship. What's there to hide? If you don't tell us, are you brothers?"

Immediately, I received a warm greeting on the back of my head from a good friend.

"She's been busy with the start of school and welcoming new students lately, so she's been quite busy."

Guan Siqi crossed his hands behind his waist, like a bird with broken wings or a fish out of water. He struggled and moved his neck, shouting, "You're starting to feel bad now. You have no humanity towards the opposite sex and you're holding me down. Please feel bad for me too."

Gu Yang's eardrums couldn't bear this guy's chatter any more, so he let go at the right moment: "Then when the time is right, I'll introduce him to everyone."

Guan Siqi, now free, climbed onto his shoulders and pestered him to get a glimpse of the woman's true face: "Who is she? She's so secretive. Do you have a photo?"

At this point, Gu Yang couldn't hide it any longer. Reluctantly, he took out his phone and was looking through his photo album when Fang Qingzhuo called. He walked to the balcony and closed the partition door. He pressed the answer button and said without hesitation, "I said I won't call you back. Don't call me again."

Not knowing what the other party said, he compromised and said, "I understand."

As soon as Fang Qingzhuo came back from the call, Guan Siqi came to him, holding up his phone, looking as if the sky had fallen. "Where have you been? Do you know who Yangzi is dating? Luo Shu, the Luo Shu from the Design School I mentioned to you last time we played the game, the campus beauty who's more attractive than eye exercises."

Fang Qingzhuo tilted his head, disdainfully avoiding the photo that was about to hit his eyes. He was not interested in the school beauties or department beauties, and his focus was different from his: "There are indeed more girls in the Design School."

"Is that the point?" Guan Siqi said with a click of his tongue. "The point is that you're saying that the girl's eyesight isn't very good. She'd rather fall for Gu Yang, a simple-minded but muscular guy, than us two handsome guys."

Fang Qingzhuo smiled without commenting, exchanged a glance with Gu Yang, and then put his long arms around the neck of Guan Siqi, who was still talking to himself, trapping him.

"There's a road to heaven but you don't take it, there's no door to hell but you force your way in." Gu Yang approached, "Now even if you scream your throat out, no one can save you."

There were wolves in front and tigers behind. By the time Guan Siqi reacted, it was too late: "If you dare, let's fight one-on-one..." After a moment, heartbreaking screams resounded throughout the dormitory building.

Fang Qingzhuo went home early this weekend for something, leaving Guan Siqi and the other two goalies to guard the dorm. At lunchtime, Guan Siqi, half asleep, barely opened his eyes as he lay in bed, groggily poking his head out and calling out to the bed across from him: "Yangzi, what are we having for lunch? Takeout?"

There was no sound. He rubbed his eyes, and his vision finally became clear. He squinted at the table where Gu Yang always occupied. He was not playing games, chatting, or in sight. He moved up and saw, as expected, that he was lying on his side on the bed with his back to him.

Is he still asleep? That shouldn't be the case. After yawning, Guan Siqi called out again symbolically, but still no response.

This time, he finally noticed something was wrong. He quickly got out of bed and stood on tiptoe to observe secretly. Realizing that Gu Yang was abnormal, he immediately ran into the bathroom and secretly dialed a phone number: "Are you coming back?"

Across the phone, Fang Qingzhuo's cold voice rang out: "Not yet, what's wrong?"

"There's something wrong with Yangzi. He hasn't eaten or drunk anything for a long time." Guan Siqi said anxiously.

"It's normal for the two of you to go without food or water for a day." Fang Qingzhuo teased.

"He usually either plays games on his computer or spends his days with his school beauty girlfriend, but today he stayed in bed all day. I thought he was asleep, but he was all alone under the covers, feeling sad."

"Maybe the girl and him are having a quarrel." Fang Qingzhuo was walking down the stairs. Lin Su, who was chatting and laughing with her aunt, immediately raised her hand to greet him the moment she saw him. He ignored her with a cold face, "You keep an eye on it first. I'll be back when I'm done."

Fang Jueshan, who had been silently watching the news at the main seat, withdrew his gaze from the stock market after he sat down and said, "Let's eat."

Fang Qingzhuo didn't appreciate it. He raised his chin and scanned the dishes on the table one by one: "No appetite."

The aunt beside him heard this and said, "Azhuo, it's been a while since you've been home. I guess you've gotten tired of the ordinary meals in the school cafeteria. Coincidentally, a batch of seafood just arrived in the kitchen this morning. I'll go make some crab roe noodles, Azhuo's favorite."

Fang Qingzhuo raised his eyes, staring intently at Lin Su, who was sitting across from him, and said in a clear and obvious tone, "You go."

A crack appeared on Lin Su's delicate makeup. On the surface, she was Fang Jueshan's secretary, so asking her to cook might not be too much of a stretch. However, she was not a servant in the Fang family. She subtly glanced at the man drinking soup to her right, hoping for a reaction. Unfortunately, he didn't. She put away the embarrassment on her face and forced a decent smile: "Okay, no problem."

She said it was okay, but her high heels were stomping so loudly.

Fang Jueshan looked at the instigator expressionlessly, but he didn't mean to scold him. "I heard that your place in the postgraduate entrance examination was lost?"

"Yeah, that's all." Fang Qingzhuo, who was saying he had no appetite a second ago, now calmly put some food into the bowl.

Listening to his son's normal tone, Fang Jueshan said casually: "Need me..."

"No need." Fang Qingzhuo put a chopstick of food into his mouth and chewed it slowly. "I can make my own decisions about my own affairs. Naturally, I won't ask about yours."

Fang Jueshan's eyes were deep, he was neither annoyed nor angry, but instead chuckled and continued to drink the soup.

The conversation between the father and son ended there. No one mentioned it again. They finished their meal and left.

In the kitchen, Lin Su suddenly heard a series of footsteps approaching step by step, in line with her heartbeat, as if they had anticipated Fang Qingzhuo's arrival. "You must be hungry. The noodles will be ready soon."

She acted pretentiously, and Fang Qingzhuo didn't waste any time pulling out a piece of news on his phone: "You asked someone to take this photo."

The water in the pot was bubbling. Lin Su threw a handful of noodles in. When she heard his question, she turned around. In the picture, in the dim parking lot, she was leaning against Fang Jueshan's arm like a little bird.

She feigned surprise and covered her lips: "I didn't even notice when I was photographed, and it made me look ugly."

With a smug look on his face, Fang Qingzhuo folded his arms and watched her perform quietly.

Lin Su sighed awkwardly: "I know you don't like me, but..."

"No, Lin Su, I like you very much." Fang Qingzhuo suddenly interrupted.

He took a step closer, leaned over slightly, and looked down at me with an expression of indescribable contempt and indifference. "I like it when you rub your feet against my trouser legs while tutoring me, and I like it when you wear a low-cut top and deliberately squeeze out your cleavage when swaying in front of me."

He looked at the gradually pale face, his deep black eyes like a pair of ferocious claws, "If I go and tell my dad that you seduced me, do you think you can still stand here so openly?"

Lin Su said seriously: "Are you warning me?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Fang Qingzhuo smiled. He was already good-looking, and his smile made his features even more vivid. But it wasn't a smile of joy, and it only lasted a second. The last time he smiled at her like this was when he was her tutor. It was clearly him who had intentionally or unintentionally hinted that he wanted a Stuttgart, causing her to spend a month's part-time salary trying to buy it to please him. But then something unexpected happened: he turned against her and told Fang Jueshan that she had ulterior motives and was going to fire her.

He continued to taunt: "Can't you see? I'm threatening you."

Lin Su was completely unable to show off and began to soften: "Azhu, stop joking. It doesn't matter if you don't want to acknowledge my identity. You can still continue to treat me as your sister. Let's put aside our past grudges, isn't that good?"

She tried to appeal to his emotions and reason, "It's been three years since Auntie passed away. You can't let your father live alone forever."

However, Lin Su had no idea what words had touched his sore spot, causing him to grab her neck with all his might and push her against the wall.

"Don't keep calling me mom. Think about it, who was it that was so intent on currying favor with me that she used a month's tuition money to buy me a gift? If she couldn't hook me up, she'd try to seduce my dad. You really wanted to marry into the Fang family and have me call you mom? Do you deserve it?"

The calmer his voice became, the tighter his hands became.

Tears welled up in her eyes and she wanted to argue, but it was difficult for her to breathe, let alone speak. Her face turned red at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Are you worthy? Speak." Fang Qingzhuo roared again, his knuckles turning white.

The instinct for survival drove Lin Su to shake her head and admit her mistake, but the hand was holding her tightly. She tried to struggle, slap it with her hands, and pry it open, but it was all in vain. The devil's claws were still firmly stuck on her throat, motionless. "Please... let go, I... am pregnant."

I originally thought that I could frighten him by using the trump card that she was pregnant with Fang's child, but Fang Qingzhuo was obviously fearless and not only did he not let go, but on the contrary he tightened his grip fiercely.

On the open fire that no one paid attention to, the foam overflowing from the noodle pot continued to spread out of the pot along the mouth, making a mess.

Feeling that all her senses were slowly fading away and on the verge of loss, Fang Qingzhuo suddenly had a change of heart and let go. Lin Su lost her strength and could only hold on to the stove, trembling all over. She opened her mouth and gasped for breath, staring at the man in front of her, wary of him attacking her again.

Fang Qingzhuo, on the other hand, not only didn't take the next step, but also turned off the gas as if nothing had happened. Thanks to him, the pot of noodle soup finally stopped overflowing. Glancing over the devastation, another wave of ridicule was inevitable: "I've never seen crab roe noodles made with such ordinary noodles. You don't even have this much knowledge. You're not as good as Aunt Lin."

He leaned against the locker and glanced at Lin Su indifferently the entire time, until his phone rang abruptly, interrupting him. He answered and heard Guan Siqi's panicked voice: "Azhu, come to the hospital quickly. Yangzi was hit by a car."
