Gu Lingyang stood up, straightened his clothes, made sure that Ning Yichu wouldn't notice anything, and then went downstairs.
Xun Manyin wiped her tears and followed without saying a word.

Ning Yichu was about to leave when he heard someone coming down the stairs.

Xun Manyin had been listening in the stairwell for a long time. Even though she didn't want to care about Gu Lingyang anymore, she couldn't really let him go.
