The elder sister looked at me in confusion, and even forgot to refuse.
"I have been assigned to the factory office, but I haven't found a place yet. Your leader here told us in advance."
"No, wait a minute. I saw you were assigned to the warehouse when we registered just now. The factory office has finished registering. What's your name? Wait, let me see. It's Wang Yan."
The older sister flipped through the registration book and looked at me with sympathy. She had no say in factory matters; it was obvious this girl was being replaced.
"It's okay, sister. I'll go check it out and report to the warehouse later. I won't bother you if you're busy."
Jiang Cha came out with a stern face. The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. He took my position and assigned me to the warehouse. There was no warehouse at all when the office was recruiting this time.
The first room on the west side of the third floor was the factory office. I knocked on the door and saw three people sitting inside.
"Miss, is there anything wrong? Why are you here?" the man with glasses asked Jiang Cha. The man was not young and looked like the leader of this room.
"Hello, I'm looking for Wang Yan. Is she here?" I answered, suppressing my anger. I couldn't disturb anyone else, and I had to get by at the factory. Jobs were hard to find, and I couldn't afford to make any mistakes.
"Jiang, Jiang Cha, why are you here? Is there something you want to talk to me about?"
Looking at this girl in front of me, with her long braids, yellow blouse, small leather shoes, and a watch, she looks pretty good. No wonder she stole my job.
"You know exactly what Wang Yan wants from you. Is it unethical of you to steal my job? I remember you were assigned to the finance department. So who did you transfer the finance job to?
"You're asking me to go to the warehouse. That's too shameless. The worst that can happen is that we're all out of work. I want to see who secretly changed your job and who took my place. If you don't go to this job, I'll also put up big-character posters against you."
He threatened her softly, and seeing how nervous she was, with visible fear, he smiled and said;
"Go ahead, I'm afraid of you!"
Who wouldn't be afraid of big-character posters these days? She wasn't afraid at all, apparently she had a lot of support.
What's the big deal? Let's go to the warehouse first. At worst, I can find a new job! We can't make a fuss about this. Let's talk to someone later!
