Chapter 109 The Passing of Time

Zhou Yuansong rolled his eyes at Li Xiaoxia, closed his eyes in pain, and wanted to lie down for a while.

Li Xiaoxia raised the pear in her hand and asked, "You haven't finished eating yet, do you want to continue eating?"

"I'm sorry, I don't want to eat anymore. It hurts my heart." Zhou Yuan said and closed his eyes, not wanting to pay any more attention to Li Xiaoxia.

Li Xiaoxia snorted, put the fruit in her hand into her mouth, and ate it while humming a little unhappily:

"Do you think I'm a bitch? I know it's impossible for me to be with you, but I still take care of you as if you were my own man. I think I'm hopeless."

"Alright, alright! They're normal. They're good classmates and treat you so well. But you, Li Xiaoxia, insisted on guarding a crooked tree. Who do you think is to blame, right?"

Liu Caijuan had just said a few words when her father, Zhou Dashu, snatched the phone away, cleared his throat, and said, "Son, you must rest and recuperate. Don't overthink anything. Wait until you're well again before you talk to me, okay?"

"I understand. Don't worry, Mom and Dad. I know that health is important. I will recover slowly and there won't be any problems left."

Zhou Yuan hung up the phone after he finished speaking. He didn't want to talk too much with his parents. The more he talked, the more worried they would be. The more worried they were, the more they would nag him, which made him feel a little annoyed.
