The instruments made a soft hum, and the pale light fell on Dr. Lin's pristine white lab coat. He leaned back in his chair, his notebook filled with chemical equations and structural formulas that Joss couldn't understand at all...
Joss thought to himself, "Two-legged creatures are really strange, spending all their time researching things that are easy to kill brain cells."

Dr. Lin noticed Joss's movement. He slightly curled the corners of his lips, a look of interest on his pale face. "Little guy, do you want to know what I wrote?"
"You're so smart, I'm sure you'll understand once I teach you, right?" Dr. Lin's voice was gentle and persuasive.
But Joss knew the man's true colors!
