"Young lady, your name is so nice, it really suits your temperament. Alright, alright, I'll arrange a place for you to stay. You can live here from today onwards. I guarantee you'll live a very comfortable life." Wang Chengye said with a smile, and led Qiao He to an apartment building in a very warm manner.
On the way, Qiao He tried to talk to Shen Huai, but Shen Huai acted as if this was a very ordinary city, with nothing unusual about it.
But all of this seemed very strange to Qiao He; countless rat holes had appeared in her stomach.
After entering, there was even a city. The ratman came out and started talking about being the mayor, arranging accommodation for her. This was too strange. Didn't Shen Huai and the others notice anything amiss?
Just as Qiao He was thinking about these things, Wang Chengye had already brought her to the apartment.
The moment Qiao He entered the apartment, she suddenly had a strange feeling, as if she was meant to live here, as if she originally belonged to this city.

Qiao He happily took the kittens to the apartment to rest.
After saying goodbye to Shen Huai and Bo Shiwu, Qiao He lay comfortably on the big bed and yawned. She was really tired and felt terrible.

The children all nodded and said happily, "Great, Mommy! I love it here! There's food and drink, and it's not dangerous at all. It's so comfortable..."
Qiao He felt the same way. She relaxed both physically and mentally. She hadn't felt so comfortable since the natural disaster struck.
It felt like being back in my mother's womb, surrounded by amniotic fluid—exceptionally comfortable.
Qiao He yawned, as if she was getting sleepy again.
She had originally planned to go out and see Shen Huai and Bo Shiwu, but her eyelids grew heavier and heavier, and she somehow fell asleep again.
And so, Qiao He didn't know how much time had passed, whether she woke up or fell asleep. When she finally came to her senses, the kittens were no longer by her side.
Qiao He was startled and quickly got out of bed. She rushed to the living room, but the kitten was still not there.
Qiao He panicked. She flung open the apartment door and rushed to the next room to see if the kitten was there.
Unexpectedly, she bumped into Wang Chengye as soon as she opened the door. He still had his rat head on, and his round, black rat eyes were staring straight at Qiao He.
"Oh dear, Miss Qiao, why are you so flustered? What happened? Can you tell me? After all, I'm your mayor. If you have any problems that you can't solve, you can come to me," Wang Chengye said warmly.
Qiao He asked instinctively, "Have you seen my kittens? They're missing, I'm worried..."
Wang Chengye smiled and said, "Don't worry, they're sleeping right next to you. If you don't believe me, I'll take you to see them."
After saying that, Wang Chengye opened the apartment door.
Qiao He had no doubts about why Wang Chengye could open the door to the apartment next door, nor did she think that Wang Chengye could easily open her own door as well.
And so, Qiao He saw the kittens, who were indeed sleeping peacefully there.
Qiao He finally breathed a sigh of relief. She said to Wang Chengye, "Thank you, Mayor Wang. I'm so grateful. I'm glad they're alright. I'll head back now. You should get back to your work."
Wang Chengye replied, "Okay, call me if you need anything."
Qiao He: "Okay, Mayor Wang."
Wang Chengye disappeared at the end of the corridor. Qiao He returned to her apartment with lingering fear and went to the bathroom to wash her face.
I let out a sigh of relief, and then slowly looked up at myself in the mirror.
Qiao He's face was reflected in the mirror.
On her fair and pretty face, it seemed as if some grayish-black downy hair had grown.
