Chapter 8 Finding Fault

Tang Ran was in a good mood and didn't know that an old friend was coming from afar.

"Ranran, tomorrow is a day off. Do you want to go out? Let's go together?"

Tang Ran almost agreed, but unfortunately, she did not have the freedom. If she wanted to go out, she had to find Lao Fangtou to apply for permission, and someone had to watch her. It would be better for her to stay in the military area than to go shopping like this.

"I'm not going. You guys go out and walk around. I want to rest."

The girl who was talking to Tang Ran was one of the nurses who entered the hospital with Tang Ran. To be more precise, she was one of the nurses who were converted to regular employees. She was a military dependent, the daughter of Captain Zheng from the First Regiment of the Third Brigade. Her name was Zheng Yue and she was also sixteen years old this year.

The little girl was very talkative and within a few days she had unilaterally announced that she and Tang Ran had become good friends.

Friendship between girls is built on going to the toilet together and eating in the cafeteria together, and Tang Ran and Zheng Yue both meet these two requirements.

"Okay, then do you want something? I'll get it back to you."

Tang Ran pondered for a moment. Is there anything you need?

"Please give me some stamps and envelopes. I want to write to my friends."

Things have been stable for the year now. Tang Ran wanted to let Chen Shuang and Rong He know that she was safe, so that they wouldn't worry about her.

"Okay, I'll bring it back to you."

After get off work, Tang Ran went straight to Fang Yanwu's office, unlike usual.

From the hospital to Fang Yanwu's office building, you have to pass by the drill ground. There are still many soldiers training on the playground. It is also very pleasing to the eye. It's not that they are so good-looking, but the aura of the soldiers makes people feel excited inexplicably.

"Hey! Look at that woman, is she the female spy we arrested some time ago?"

Qiao Shan was patted on the shoulder by someone behind him, and subconsciously looked in the direction the person indicated.

His eyes narrowed slightly. Although it was dark on the day they participated in the arrest mission, he could still recognize the woman who pressed them to the ground and rubbed them even if she turned into ashes.

Tang Ran didn't know until now that among the five people she pressed to the ground that day, only the man and woman at the beginning were spies. The three people who came in the second group were indeed soldiers participating in the arrest mission, and Qiao Shan was one of them.

Tang Ran thought that the three people who came later were accomplices of the spy, and Qiao Shan and the other two thought that Tang Ran and his companions were rebelling against him, and then the rest of the things happened naturally.

…………

Tang Ran came to Fang Yanwu's office, knocked on the door, and heard a voice "Come in" from inside.

"Uncle Fang."

"What brought you here? How have you been recently? Are you adjusting well?"

Tang Ran smiled, but she was actually pissing herself off. "Why is he asking this? Doesn't he know whether it's good or not?" She was constantly being watched at the military hospital, and her every move would probably be reported.

Besides, why was she allowed to come and go freely without being checked? He really took her for a fool, didn't he?

"It's good. I've been converted to a regular employee."

"Really? Ranran is awesome. Sit here. Why are you standing?"

"No, I just want to ask something."

Fang Yanwu looked at Tang Ran, waiting for him to continue speaking.

"I want to communicate with my friends in Lin City, but I'm afraid of leaking any information, so do you think there is any way?"

"You want to tell them you're safe? Do they know you're still alive?"

Fang Yanwu's face turned serious for a second.

He had to be careful. If the news that Tang Ran was still alive got out, it might not be a big deal, but it would inevitably make people wonder whether Tang Kangnian and Qi Min had also faked their deaths.

Unnecessary trouble should be avoided if possible.

Tang Ran also told the whole story and explained how her two friends knew she was still alive.

Fang Yanwu pondered for a moment.

"Don't write yet. I'll think about it and tell you how to deal with this matter."

When it comes to the safety of his parents, everything else can be put aside. Tang Ran agreed and did not stay with Fang Yanwu any longer.

On the other side, the three people led by Qiao Shan who were beaten up that day also found their leader. The reason was simple, they just wanted to know why Tang Ran was able to move freely in the military area. Isn't she a spy?

"Comrade Tang Ran was on a secret mission that day. Please stop paying attention to this matter."

Three people: …………

A secret mission? Well, what's the point of them getting beaten up?

The order had to be carried out, but they couldn't swallow this humiliation. They always believed that it was not because they were inferior to others in skills, but that it was an emergency and their carelessness led to such a very embarrassing result.

So, Tang Ran was targeted. After a day off, Tang Ran went to work as usual. Early in the morning, someone called her by name and asked Nurse Tang to bandage her.

In this military area, there are more wolves than meat, so it is not uncommon for young nurses to be spotted by soldiers and flirt with them. Therefore, Tang Ran only received a few teasing glances, and other than that, no one felt there was anything wrong.

Everyone says that this era is conservative, but the truth is, if two people are attracted to each other, the speed at which they get married will surprise future generations.

Tang Ran came to the treatment room, holding a tray in one hand, and walked like a medical scoundrel.

After opening the door, Tang Ran glanced around at the three people in the room who were staring at her, her eyes seemed to be burning with anger. If there was no personal grudge, her name, Tang Ran, would be written backwards.

She had only been here a few days, and to be honest, she hadn't had time to offend anyone yet. If she recalled casually, she would have beaten up these three people.

Looking at the training uniforms of the three people, Tang Ran felt as if he understood something. There was indeed a personal grudge.
