Chapter 103 Lost in Heaven

As soon as Zhang Xudong jumped out of the car, the little fox jumped out from the truck bed, and a red shadow flashed and landed on Zhang Xudong's shoulder.

Its appearance caused trouble. Zhang Xudong didn't expect the fox to follow him secretly, and was just surprised.

The man holding the gun was so scared that his hand shook and he fired a shot with a "bang".

Then he suddenly threw the gun away, put his hands on his head and squatted on the ground, crying and shouting:

"Oh my god, I killed someone. I didn't mean to do it. I didn't mean to do it."

The young man holding the hatchet was even worse. He was so frightened by the fox and the gunshots that he sat down on the ground, motionless as if stunned.

The hatchet in his hand fell between his legs and he almost became a father-in-law.

Zhang Xudong looked at it and shook his head. "How dare you two come here to rob people with such little courage? If you weren't so poor, you would have been robbed long ago."

Zhang Xudong walked over and patted the crying man on the shoulder:

"Brother, wait a minute before you cry. I'm in a hurry to get on with my journey, so please get out of the way. Once we're through, you can cry here for three days and three nights."

The man was stunned after hearing what Zhang Xudong said. He asked blankly, "You're not dead?"

"You are the one who died! Did you hit any bird feathers with that shot? With such courage, it's better for you to go hunting than to rob!" Zhang Xudong said angrily.

"We wanted to go hunting, but we only had one bullet left. We had never fired a gun before, so we didn't dare go into the mountains.

Today I just wanted to scare someone and get something out of them, but I didn't expect to end up losing a bullet."

After the big man finished speaking, he grinned and was about to cry. It seemed that he was really heartbroken about the bullet.

"What's wrong with you? You're still worried about bullets now? Aren't you afraid of being sent to jail and being shot?

Get out of the way quickly and let me clear the way, or I'll send you to jail today."

"I'm leaving, I'm leaving right away, I'm going to drag the tree away. But I only thought of doing this because I had no other choice. You're driving a car, so you must have plenty of good food. You're a good person, can you give me some?"

The man got up reluctantly and begged.

Zhang Xudong was so angry that he looked at the man and asked, "What's the matter? You still don't give up? If the hard way doesn't work, you want to try the soft way?"

The man quickly explained, "No, no. I just thought, hey, my mother just gave birth to a little sister, but she has no milk at all.

There is no fine grain at home, and my younger sister hasn’t eaten anything for almost two days.

I just wanted to get some rice or something to keep her alive. I really didn't mean to harm anyone."

After the man finished speaking, he squatted on the side of the road, holding his head and crying, with a look of pain and despair on his face.

Zhang Xudong didn't know what to say. In this year of great disaster, couldn't your parents just be quiet?

This has resulted in a death, which is really fatal.

Zhang Xudong looked at the man's painful expression and softened his heart.

He climbed into the cab and took out a can of milk powder with words scraped off on it and two pounds of millet from the space.

"Here, this is a can of milk powder and two pounds of millet. Go home and give it to your sister."

Zhang Xudong said as he stuffed the thing into the man's arms. He ignored him and dragged the tree that was blocking the road to the side of the road. He drove past the man and left.

The stunned man was awakened by a passing car and quickly got up and chased after it.

Seeing that she couldn't catch up, she bent down in the direction the car was going, and her tears fell on the dry road.

Zhang Xudong drove a few miles and then entered the space because He Jingxian was already waiting for him inside.

"Why did you come in just now? Did you really get on the train?" Zhang Xudong asked while filling his stomach.

He Jingxian said helplessly: "My mother sent me to the train and waited until the train was about to leave before going back.

What can I do? I have to wait one stop before getting off. Where are you now?

"We're almost at the next county. Do you want to stay inside, or do you want to go out with me? I just ran into some bandits."

Zhang Xudong recounted what had just happened, making He Jingxian laugh so hard that her stomach hurt.

After laughing, he sighed and said, "It's all because of life! But you were still robbed."

"If we get robbed, we get robbed! After all, they gave us a good guy card.

"Okay, hurry up and eat something, we have to hurry. You have to pay attention to the direction, don't get lost." Zhang Xudong urged.

"Brother Dong, are you tired of driving? If you are, let me drive." He Jingxian said eagerly.

"Can you drive?"

"I learned to drive a tractor. It's bigger than this car. How's that? Awesome, right?"

Zhang Xudong has never driven a tractor, but I think it should be about the same, right?

"Then go out and try driving it. If it doesn't work, don't try to be brave. If you break it, we'll be dumbfounded."

Facts have proved that He Jingxian really knows how to drive, and she drives even faster than Zhang Xudong.

"Jing girl, slow down. You're almost breaking the car apart."

"That's just the beginning! We've experienced much more jolting on a tractor than this. That jolt almost threw you off the seat and onto the hood."

"This car is not a tractor. If you break it apart, we'll have to run over there."

Zhang Xudong and He Jingxian took turns driving. Whoever was tired would go back to the space and sleep with the little fox in his arms.

These two little boys and girls really use cars to run when there is a road, and walk over mountains and hills when there is no road.

He fought with robbers a lot along the way. Sometimes when he had some free time, he would just take out his two Type 38 rifles.

If that doesn't work, I'll give you two grenades. Scare the robbers away and then move on.

We only had food and drink along the way, no sleeping outdoors, and we kept on traveling day and night.

Until the afternoon of the fourth day, when they saw:

The pure blue sky like a gem;

Seeing the white clouds like cotton wool;

Seeing the snow on the top of the towering mountain in the distance;

Look at the lake that is like a blue mirror.

They knew that they had arrived at the legendary beautiful place that was closest to heaven.

Zhang Xudong and He Jingxian suddenly felt refreshed, as if their souls had been purified.

The two people greedily admired the beautiful scenery that seemed like another world, forgetting their current situation.

It was not until they saw the picturesque sunset that they thought of a practical question - which direction they should go.

Look around, you will find that the direction you came from is different from other places. The beauty is the same everywhere.

Tibet now seems even more sparsely populated.

They seemed to be lost in heaven and didn't know which direction to go to find a place where people lived.
