Chapter 70 Du Qingyan
The flight attendant Tang Yue said, "Comrade, I will buy his ticket for him. Sending him back will give him a chance to live. Sending him back will only lead to his death, so we can do a good thing."
The flight attendant was still young, about 20 years old, and seeing the injuries on the boy's body, she felt a little bit sorry for him. She was also afraid that he would be beaten to death if sent back, so she agreed, "Okay, female comrade, buy him a ticket then."
"Thank you, comrade." Tang Yue took out money from her pocket, actually from the space, handed the money to the attendant, and then took the ticket.
Tang Yue handed the ticket to the little boy, "Take it and keep it for yourself." She then took out 20 yuan and the military ticket she got at the post office in the morning from her bag and gave him some food coupons, which should be enough for him to go to his grandmother's house.
"Sister, thank you. My name is Du Qingyan. Sister, please tell me your name and I will repay you in the future. I always keep my word," Du Qingyan promised her as he took the money and tickets handed over by the sister.
Tang Yue looked at the serious expression on the little boy's face, his eyes full of determination. Suddenly, she felt that the boy's family would definitely regret it in the future. How could a person with such a pair of eyes be an ordinary person? If he was given a chance, he would definitely stand tall.
"I want to repay you, live your life well. My name is Tang Yue. I hope I won't see you so embarrassed next time. Now go find your location quickly. Be careful of those human traffickers. They like to prey on boys like you who are alone," Tang Yue warned. She didn't hope that the little boy would fall into a wolf's den just after escaping from the tiger's den.
"Sister Tangyue, don't worry, I will get off the bus tomorrow morning. I will protect myself and I will protect myself too. Although I didn't see your face, I will remember your eyes and I will admit my mistake next time I see you. I will definitely repay you," Du Qingyan said seriously and turned and left.
Tang Yue watched the little boy slowly walk away, and did not return to the carriage. She paced back and forth slowly outside the carriage, hoping that he would be safe for the rest of his life.
Finally, out of fear that her mother-in-law might worry, Tang Yue returned to the carriage. As expected, as soon as she entered, she saw her mother-in-law staring at the door. When she saw Tang Yue coming back, she visibly relaxed.
"I'm back now, and I want to sleep. It's late, so I need enough sleep." Mother Zhao was worried that her daughter-in-law was too young and should take care of her health.
Tang Yue knew her mother-in-law was worried, so she wanted her to worry less. "You feel a little sleepy, so I'll go to bed first."
"Sleep well, mom will come over to wake you up."
Tang Yue has always felt that she had done good things in her previous lives, and that she would be blessed with such a good in-law family in this life, and that she would definitely be very happy in this life.
Lying on the lower bunk with eyes closed, Tang Yue slept for the whole afternoon and now she was asleep. Her mental power instantly entered the space. With nothing to do, she went into the living room to watch TV series. The clothes in the costume dramas on TV were very beautiful. She would see if she could imitate them in time. They were indeed very beautiful.
Tang Yue watched the TV series for three or four hours before her mental power came out of the space. She opened her eyes and saw that there was no movement in the carriage. She thought everyone should be asleep.
Lying on the bunk, Tang Yue thought about how she would adapt to the life in the army. The people there were so nice and easy to get along with. She kept having all sorts of random thoughts in her mind and she didn't know when she would fall asleep.
Maybe she didn't get enough sleep, so she got up very early the next day. Seeing that no one in the carriage was awake yet, Tang Yue put on her clothes, shoes and socks quietly in order not to disturb everyone's sleep, and prepared to go to the toilet and wash up.
She took her things and carefully opened the door, then gently closed it. On the way, she went to get an enamel cup of hot water and then went to the toilet. Unexpectedly, many people still got up early. There was a long line in front of her. Tang Yue originally thought that she was early enough, but she didn't expect that there were many people who got up earlier than her.
Tang Yue was also anxious, so she quietly followed the queue behind, observing the people in front of her with nothing to do. These people in the queue seemed to be dressed incorrectly, and they might be buying tickets for the train compartment.
It took more than 20 minutes before it was Tang Yue's turn. During these 20 minutes, there were many people queuing behind Tang Yue. In order not to make others wait too long, she packed up quickly. The smell was really good. She finished in three minutes and hurried back to avoid her mother-in-law seeing her in the car and worrying about her.
Tang Yue walked towards the carriage where she lived. From a distance, she saw her mother-in-law looking around at the door. She must have woken up and found her there, so she came out to look for her but didn't dare to go too far away from the carriage, fearing that she would go back and the two of them would miss each other.
"Mom, I'm here," Tang Yue began to call her mother-in-law from a distance.
When Zhao's mother heard her daughter-in-law's voice, she looked in the direction of the voice and found it was indeed her daughter-in-law. She quickly took a few steps and walked up to her.
"Yueyue, I was so worried when I saw you in the carriage early in the morning. I wanted to look for you but was afraid that you would come back and miss me. Are you okay?" Mother Zhao walked up to her daughter-in-law, looked her up and down, and felt relieved when she was sure that she was okay.
"Mom, don't worry, I just went to the bathroom. People see me, a pregnant woman with a big belly, and let me pass first on the street. You are too nervous," Tang Yue hurriedly comforted her mother-in-law, trying to relax her tense mood.
"It's okay, it's okay, let's go back. I'm hungry now. I'll buy you breakfast." Mother Zhao sent her daughter-in-law back to the carriage and quickly ran to the dining car to buy her breakfast. She was afraid that her daughter-in-law and the baby in her belly would be hungry, so she didn't even have time to wash up.
Tang Yue was used to her mother-in-law being nervous and impatient. She knew she was worried about her, so she let her do what she wanted. If she asked her to do something to divert her attention, she would feel more at ease.
Tang Yue thought that there were still many days left in the car, so she had to find something to do for herself. She opened her backpack and took out the original owner's book from the backpack. She read it through from elementary school and would teach her child about Chinese culture in the future. She knew that the original owner was a good student, and although she was good at studying, she was illiterate.
She took out the book and sat on the bunk, reading quietly. Although the elementary school texts were very simple, Tang Yue was not careless. Although she knew it herself, she would teach others. She practiced it more and more. Even if she just recited it word for word, she could still remember it by heart.
"Yueyue, I just went to the dining car, and there was no other fine grains except white porridge. I'll make you a bowl of white porridge and buy you two corn tortillas. It should be delicious when eaten with mushroom sauce. You can try it." Just as Tang Yue was watching seriously, her mother-in-law came back with breakfast, with an expression on her face that said, "There's nothing good in the dining car, and my daughter-in-law is being wronged."
"Mom, these are already very good. It's good to be able to eat enough on the train. How can I ask for better food?" Tang Yue really liked it. It was also good to eat the hot corn tortillas with mushroom sauce.
Although she said so, she was still very happy when she saw her mother-in-law's distressed expression. It was good that someone cared about whether she ate well, at least for Tang Yue.
