Chapter 80: Sea Hunt

Chapter 80: Sea Hunt

After this incident, Tang Yue was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as she returned home.

Zhao Shengrui lay beside her and held her in his arms, quietly looking at the person in his arms. Finally, he kissed her on the forehead, then closed his eyes and prepared to sleep.

When Zhao Shengrui got up at around five o'clock, he carefully took the handkerchief off Tang Yue's shoulder, got up, dressed, and went out in one go.

Tang Yue woke up the first morning, feeling tired and not wanting to move or do anything. Finally, seeing that her daughter-in-law was so listless, Zhao's mother took it and said, "Yueyue, you didn't sleep well yesterday, you should get up early and have breakfast. Today we will go to the beach together. I'll cook something and bring it over there. Have you always wanted to stroll along the beach? Today you can see enough and relax with you."

Tang Yue knew that her mother-in-law was worried about her. In fact, she had been concerned about it for a long time. She just felt very tired suddenly. She didn't want to spoil the fun for the sake of her mother-in-law trying to make her happy.

"Okay, Mom, we'll go later. Brother Shengrui always leaves at a certain time. Everyone sees him every morning when he wakes up." Tang Yue felt a little awkward.

"He has to get up so early for training, and you're sleeping like a pig. Seeing how well you're sleeping, Shengrui couldn't bear to wake you up, for fear of disturbing your sleep," Zhao's mother said to her daughter-in-law.

Tang Yue was teased by her mother-in-law, but she felt a little embarrassed. Now she gets up later and later every day, but she just feels so sleepy. Never mind, she still forces herself to do it.

When Tang Yue finished washing up and sat in the living room, her mother-in-law cooked a bowl of noodle soup and brought it to her.

Seeing such a big bowl of noodles with some red chili oil on it, it looked very appetizing. Tang Yue didn't hesitate to eat it mouthful by mouthful. It was spicy and delicious. In the end, Tang Yue finished the whole bowl without feeling full.

Mother Zhao was even happier when she saw her daughter-in-law had finished eating. She thought that being able to eat more meant that she was in a good mood, so she took the used bowls to the kitchen to wash them.

"Yueyue, take a look at what else you need to take to the beach. Pack it yourself. I'll call you after I wash the dishes."

Tang Yue was thinking about what to bring with her. She originally wanted to go fishing at the beach, but her fishing rod was not exposed to the public, so she must bring a fish hook and a fishing line, which were not so conspicuous. She also needed to bring a knife, so that she could chop a stick and use it as a fishing rod.

Take the backpack, put the fishing hook and fishing line in it, take out the dagger from the space and put it in there, then go and chop a long stick for self-defense, which you can carry with you.

Tang Yue put on her backpack and walked to the door to wait for her mother-in-law.

Seeing that her daughter-in-law was already waiting, Zhao's mother packed up her things and picked up the backpack. "Yueyue, you must be getting impatient. Let's go, change our shoes first, put on rain boots and set off."

Tang Yue was reminded by her mother-in-law that the sand was wet. Her shoes would get wet if she stepped in it. She quickly went back to her room to change her shoes. She planned to pick up more sand, dry it in the sun, and mail it to the captain and his family. After all, they were helping her look after the house. It would be a great deal to just mail them some ubiquitous things.

I changed my shoes, locked the yard door, and walked in the direction I went last time. I was lucky that the tide was high last time, but this time I heard it clearly in advance and I would definitely encounter a situation like last time.

Tang Yue and her mother-in-law walked for about 40 minutes to the beach. This time the sea water was much farther away, revealing the sand, unlike last time when the sea water was only a few meters away from them. The environment is better now, and no plastic garbage or the like is seen.

"Mom, go pick it up. I'll look for it on the side too. Let's go far away." Tang Yue cut a long stick at the foot of the mountain to explore the way, and then cut a longer one to make a fishing rod.

Seeing that her daughter-in-law was running away, Zhao's mother just let her play here, put the things in the backpack aside, and walked forward with the empty backpack.

Tang Yue took the stick she had sharpened and looked around the beach to see if there was anything missing. She walked to a small puddle and stirred it with the stick. She could feel something, which should be the food.

I poured the water out, and when most of the water was poured out, I saw a big crab and an octopus in it. The octopus looked to be more than half a pound. I quickly called mother-in-law over and said, "Mom, there is a big crab here, and there is also an octopus that weighs half a pound. Hurry and get the backpack to put them in."

When Zhao's mother heard her daughter-in-law calling her, she hurried over and didn't walk far. When she saw the crabs and octopus, she said that her daughter-in-law was very lucky as they were bigger than what she had picked up.

When Tang Yue saw her saying that what she picked up was very big, she was a little curious about how many fish she picked up. She didn't think what she picked up was very big, so she stretched her head to take a look, and saw two big crabs, a small fish, and some kelp in the backpack. They were so small, no wonder she thought what she picked up was very big.

"Mom, I'll help you look everywhere, you come and pick it up later. I'm really busy squatting down, I'll tell you when I find it."

"Okay, you have to be careful. You're going to fall. There are rocks everywhere and it's easy to sprain your ankle," Zhao's mother warned quickly.

"Don't worry," Tang Yue would pay attention to the instructions of her servants. After all, she had to be self-aware of her current situation.

What followed felt like Tang Yue’s solo show.

"Mom, there are two fish in here, each weighs almost one pound."

"I'll be there right away. My daughter-in-law is so lucky, Mom. It's all thanks to you."

"Mom, there is a very long snake-like fish here."

"Yueyue, that's an eel, you don't know if it's dead or not."

"Mom, there are two more octopuses here. They are not much bigger than the one just now."

"Okay, Mom will be here soon. You take a rest first. You must be tired." Mother Zhao felt relieved when she saw her daughter-in-law running around with a big belly.

Tang Yue stuck out her tongue, thinking that she had forgotten herself a little, and she couldn't blame her mother-in-law for worrying, "Mom, I remember, this is also my first time to go fishing, I was so happy."

Seeing that she was indeed happy, Zhao's mother didn't say anything more to her. She thought that yesterday's happiness should be over today.

Tang Yue felt relieved when she saw that her mother-in-law didn't say anything. After all, it was for her own good, but she felt embarrassed to say a few more words.

Seeing a large clump of kelp on the side, Tang Yue picked it up, washed it with sea water, and put it aside. When she got home, she would take it out to dry and give it to someone else.

Tang Yue was so bored standing by that she started stirring the puddle with a stick. Fortunately the water was clear and she could see everything on the surface. She would occasionally stir it and the things that sank to the bottom would come up.
