Chapter 33 Lu Ge Meets Jiang Xin at the Hospital
Lu Xingche originally wanted to take some medicine home to rest, but after thinking about it, he decided to go to the hospital instead. After a series of examinations, it was already past eight o'clock. He reached out and covered his chest as he walked step by step towards the ward.
Before he even reached the ward, he ran into Jiang Xin. Lu Xingche's eyebrows were furrowed, and his expression was as sour as could be.
Jiang Xin's eyes lit up when she saw Lu Xingche. This trip to the hospital was definitely worthwhile. She happily ran to Lu Xingche's side and tried to hug his arm. Seeing his clothes covered in footprints and wrinkled, she asked worriedly, "Brother Che, what happened to you? Are you alright?"
Lu Xingche found her voice incredibly sweet. Why was Xiao Huanhuan's voice so melodious and pleasant to listen to, even though they were both girls? Lu Xingche pinched his brow and quietly took a few steps back. Jiang Xin missed her target and almost fell over.
"Brother Che, my foot..." Jiang Xin looked aggrieved, her eyes filled with tears, and she reached out to cover her ankle, looking like she was in excruciating pain, a pitiful sight.
"Jiang Xin, move aside..." Lu Xingche didn't even glance at her, speaking coldly and indifferently, his brows furrowed as he turned and walked into the ward.
Jiang Xin quickly got up and chased after him, grabbing Lu Xingche's arm and saying in an incredibly sweet voice, "Brother Che, please come home with me, my mom and dad haven't seen you in so long..."
Lu Xingche felt uncomfortable seeing the hand clinging to his arm. He reached out and pulled Jiang Xin's hand away, his brows furrowed tightly, and said sharply, "Get lost, who the hell told you to touch me..."
Jiang Xin was startled by his voice, her eyes welling up with tears, on the verge of crying. "Brother Che, I just wanted to show you some concern, why are you being so mean to me? Waaah, you weren't like this before, do you not like me anymore..."
Lu Xingche replied with a look of disgust and without any politeness, "Jiang Xin, have some shame! When have I ever liked you? Get out!!"
Jiang Xin stamped her foot and ran out of the ward crying. Chen Yi, who had come with her, saw her and felt a pang of heartache seeing her tear-streaked face.
Chen Yi bent down slightly and asked, "What's wrong, Xin'er? Who bullied you?"
Jiang Xin, her face streaked with tears, hugged Chen Yi, who was standing beside her, and said, "Brother Yi, it was Lu Xingche, he, he bullied me, waaaaah, what am I going to do now..."
Chen Yi gently patted her back and said tenderly, "Don't cry, don't cry, I'll go find him right now!!"
