Chapter 113 Planning

After collecting his belongings from the basement, Li Baolong carefully checked it again to make sure no traces were left before opening the plastic sheet and crawling out. He then covered the cement slab again, restoring everything to its original state before finally reaching the shore. Li Baolong felt dizzy and sat on the bank for more than ten minutes before a chill ran through him. He quickly put on his clothes and was about to leave when suddenly, a dog barked.

Li Baolong looked up and saw a large yellow dog charging menacingly towards him. He quickly grabbed a nearby tree, focused his mind, activated his telepathic senses, and instantly cast a control spell, precisely locking onto the dog fifty meters away. He silently commanded, "Go back to your den and sleep. Don't come out for an hour." The dog seemed frozen in place, stunned for a moment, before obediently turning and running home.

Li Baolong was utterly exhausted, staggering as he struggled toward the town center. The mere three kilometers felt like an eternity before he finally reached a small inn. He paid a hundred yuan, rushed into the room, and collapsed into bed.

The next morning, Li Baolong woke up with aches and pains, his stomach growling loudly. Ignoring everything else, he ran straight to the steamed bun shop across the street and shouted, "Boss, eight baskets of steamed buns and three bowls of porridge, please!" As soon as the buns and porridge were placed on the table, he devoured them like a hungry wolf, leaving the shopkeeper stunned. Li Baolong was quite generous; after finishing, he casually tossed the shopkeeper a hundred yuan and turned to leave.

Reaching the roadside, he flagged down a tricycle and headed towards Quanzhou. Upon arriving in Quanzhou, he used his old method, spending 300 yuan to hire a car to Xiamen. Back in Xiamen, Li Baolong collapsed onto his bed and slept soundly. When he awoke, his physical strength and magical abilities had almost fully recovered, so he got up and went to the airport to fly to Chengdu.

As soon as Li Baolong got home, he couldn't wait to call Honghong. Upon hearing that he was back, Honghong rushed over like a joyful little bird. As soon as she saw Li Baolong, she threw herself into his arms and said sweetly, "I haven't seen you for so many days! I missed you so much!"

Li Baolong, all smiles, pulled Honghong to sit down on the sofa and began to tell her about his experiences in Hong Kong, emphasizing how much money he had made. He then added, "I have to go to Thailand for a meeting around Christmas." Honghong pouted slightly and said, "You're getting busier and busier; you don't have much time for me anymore."

Li Baolong gently pinched Honghong's nose and said with a smile, "I'm working hard for our future, aren't I? I was thinking of sending you to the special economic zone to learn how to operate a beauty salon. When you come back after you've learned it, you can open one too. It's a great business, and then you'll have your own career." Honghong's eyes lit up, thinking it was a great idea, and she immediately nodded in agreement, "Okay, then I'll prepare in the next few days and go take a look."

Li Baolong continued, "I have to go to school tomorrow to show my face. Winter break is coming soon, and I need to ask the teacher for leave." Honghong understood, and the two spent some more time snuggling together at home, planning their future life.

Li Baolong woke up early that morning, still half asleep. Why? Because Honghong had been incredibly energetic all night, keeping him up several times. He had barely recovered his strength, and now half of it was gone.

Forcing himself to stay alert, he drove straight to school. As soon as he entered the homeroom teacher's office, Li Baolong adopted a nonchalant demeanor and said slowly, "Teacher, I've been incredibly busy before the New Year. I won't be coming to school for the two days of winter break." The homeroom teacher shook his head helplessly, saying nothing. Seeing this, Li Baolong tactfully got up to leave, and before leaving, he pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and placed it steadily on the teacher's desk.

After leaving the homeroom teacher's office, he went to the department head's office. He went in, did the same thing as before: gave a brief greeting, quietly placed a pack of cigarettes on the table, and then strode away. With this series of actions, Li Baolong had temporarily dealt with the school matters and could now focus on his own work.

As soon as Li Baolong entered his home, Honghong was just about to head out to the dance hall. With the New Year approaching, Honghong was thinking of selling the dance hall; several people had already expressed interest, and she was negotiating the price with them.

Ignoring everything else, Li Baolong went to the balcony and sat down. He used his spiritual power to open the mysterious space, which was crammed full. He emptied out all his daily necessities and food, enough to fit another person inside. He casually opened a bag of money—good heavens, it was all hundred-dollar bills! A rough calculation showed it was probably worth a hundred million. Li Baolong couldn't help but sigh, "A horse won't get fat without night grass, and a man won't get rich without unexpected wealth." He was already planning to go back to those two banks in Hong Kong, deposit a portion in each, and treat it as investment funds for clients. That way, he could easily launder the money. This space was truly a wonderful thing; he could transport anything without anyone noticing.

Just as he was enjoying himself, the phone rang. It was Sister Lan Hua. Li Baolong said he had just returned to Chengdu and suggested they have dinner together that evening. They agreed to meet at Luhu Villa. After hanging up, Li Baolong went downstairs, got his car, and headed straight for Xiao Yu's school. He wanted to see if the young woman's studies had changed since switching classes.

That day, the gatekeeper spotted Li Baolong's car and recognized him immediately. This young man was famous around here for being rich and generous. The gatekeeper greeted him with a smile, "Looking for your sister?" Li Baolong smiled and replied, "Yes," handing him a pack of cigarettes. The gatekeeper quickly made a phone call.

A few minutes later, Xiaoyu came running over. As she ran, her full breasts swayed slightly. Li Baolong noticed this and couldn't help but think to himself, "This little girl is getting more and more alluring." Xiaoyu was overjoyed and grabbed Li Baolong's hand, saying sweetly, "I've missed you so much these past few days. The holidays are coming up soon, can I come to your house?" Li Baolong patted her hand and said affectionately, "Of course, my house is your house."

The two drove to a hot pot restaurant and chatted while eating. Xiaoyu's eyes sparkled as she told him, "I've been studying really well lately, and I've learned a lot of new things." Li Baolong was quite pleased to hear this and told her, "I've set up a company in the special economic zone. After you graduate, you can come and help me manage it." Xiaoyu was so excited that she almost jumped for joy, thinking to herself that once she finished her studies, she could help Brother Baolong a lot.

After finishing their hotpot, they lingered in the car for a while. Xiaoyu kissed Li Baolong and whispered, "I'm doing well at school, but I miss you a lot at night." She was young, and this was her first love; she felt that Li Baolong was her whole world. Li Baolong checked the time and said somewhat helplessly, "Xiaoyu, I have a banquet to attend tonight." He then took out ten thousand yuan from his pocket and gave it to Xiaoyu before parting ways with her.
