Chapter 153 Night Raid on the Bar

In the afternoon, Li Baolong was reclining on the sofa, eyes closed, enjoying a moment of peaceful rest. Just then, the door was gently pushed open, and a figure quietly entered. It was Minglan, her expression somewhat grave.

"Brother Baolong, something terrible has happened!" Minglan said anxiously as soon as she entered the room. "Chen Zu is in real trouble this time! The Bai family is very firm and refuses to release him. Moreover... they even humiliated my father." As she said this, Minglan's eyes reddened slightly, clearly filled with grievance and anger.

Then, Minglan continued, "They actually proposed that I marry that bastard Baihu as a concubine before they would consider releasing Chen Zu. Not only that, they also confiscated all the jade and precious stones that our family had sent! My father had no choice but to return home in anger and sulk."

Upon hearing these words, Li Baolong slowly opened his eyes, a cold glint flashing within them. He sat up straight, pondered for a moment, and then said, "Your family shouldn't interfere in this matter for now. I'll find a way to resolve it myself."

As night fell and the city lights came on, the city's hustle and bustle was gradually swallowed by the darkness. After a hearty meal, Li Baolong left his house alone. He was dressed in a black night suit, completely concealing himself, and wore a black rubber mask that revealed only his sharp eyes. He also made sure to wear a hat and a face mask to avoid being recognized.

After some twists and turns, Li Baolong finally arrived near Yang Dayong's bar location, which he had scouted beforehand. At this moment, three or four burly men stood at the bar entrance, vigilantly watching their surroundings, as if ready to deal with any potential danger at any moment.

Seeing this, Li Baolong didn't hesitate at all. He quickly pulled a grenade from his pocket and threw it at the group of burly men without hesitation. With a loud "boom," the grenade exploded instantly, sending flames soaring into the sky. The men, unable to dodge in time, were blasted away and crashed heavily to the ground, howling in pain.

The sudden explosion immediately caused panic among the people in the bar. The customers and hostesses who had been drinking and chatting were startled and scattered in all directions like headless flies. The dozen or so armed bodyguards in the bar reacted instantly, nervously looking around, trying to find the attacker.

Li Baolong nimbly flipped through the somewhat dilapidated back window of the bar and landed lightly. At this moment, the once noisy and chaotic bar was now empty; the customers had all scattered in fear of the earlier commotion.

Without the slightest hesitation, Li Baolong walked straight to the back of the bar. When he reached the last few private rooms, he saw that the doors were tightly closed, but through the crack in the door, he saw two burly men sitting on the sofa, smoking and consuming drugs, completely ignoring the noise and shouts coming from outside.

Li Baolong took a deep breath, pushed open the door, and rushed in. Before the two burly men could react, he moved forward like a whirlwind and delivered a powerful punch to the back of one of them on the head. With a muffled thud, the man collapsed to the ground, unconscious, without even uttering a sound.

Immediately afterward, Li Baolong grabbed another burly man by the collar with lightning speed and lifted him up. The man was startled at first, then a murderous glint flashed in his eyes, and his right hand quickly reached for his waist, attempting to pull out a pistol hidden there. However, Li Baolong was quicker and more agile, pulling hard, and with a piercing scream, the man's entire right arm was ripped off!

Li Baolong's strength was truly astonishing, as if he possessed the strength of a thousand-pound god. In front of him, these ordinary strong men were simply like vulnerable chicks, utterly powerless to fight back.

"I'll ask you one more time, where is Yang Dayong?" Li Baolong glared at the burly man in front of him, his face filled with terror, and shouted, "If you don't tell me, you won't leave here alive today!"

The burly man, drenched in sweat and pale as a sheet, dared not conceal anything further upon hearing Li Baolong's threatening words. He stammered, "B-Sir, spare my life! Commander Yang didn't come to the bar today. He should be at his militia headquarters. There are over five hundred militiamen stationed there, and the jade merchant he kidnapped is also being held there. It's heavily guarded; it's impossible to break in without a force of at least a thousand!"

Li Baolong approached the bodyguard with a grave expression, his gaze sharp as a hawk's, intently questioning him about the exact location of Yang Dayong's militia and the status of their weapons. The bodyguard, feeling somewhat suffocated by Li Baolong's imposing presence, still stammered and trembling as he recounted everything he knew.

Having grasped all the information, Li Baolong nodded slightly in satisfaction, then turned and left without hesitation. He walked briskly, covering more than ten meters in the blink of an eye. However, at this moment, he suddenly stopped, as if remembering something important. He deftly reached into his pocket, fumbled for a moment, and pulled out a heavy hand grenade.

Without the slightest hesitation, Li Baolong swung his arm, and the grenade streaked across the night sky like a meteor, flying straight into the private room. In an instant, a deafening roar erupted, so loud it seemed the entire world trembled. Accompanying the explosion was a heart-wrenching scream, chilling to the bone.

At the same time, the dozen or so armed bodyguards who had been guarding outside were startled by the sudden noise and rushed into the private room like a tidal wave. Seeing this, Li Baolong, standing at a distance, slowly curled into a chilling smile. He casually reached into his pocket and pulled out two more hand grenades.

You see, he had over a dozen boxes of these grenades stored in his storage space! Normally, he always felt they took up too much space and were somewhat cumbersome. But now that the fight had begun, he would use as many grenades as he could, aiming for a quick victory and eliminating these enemies as quickly as possible.

Thinking this, a cold glint flashed in Li Baolong's eyes. He swung his arms again, forcefully hurling the two grenades in his hands towards the crowd. Two more deafening explosions rang out in succession, flames soaring into the sky and smoke billowing everywhere. The dozen or so bodyguards who had just rushed into the private room didn't even have a chance to react before they were all instantly knocked to the ground by the immense force of the explosions, lying haphazardly on the floor, their painful screams echoing all around.

However, faced with such a horrific scene, Li Baolong didn't look back. He kept walking and quickly disappeared into the vast night, vanishing without a trace as if he had never existed...
