Chapter 26 New Discoveries of the New Man

The two finished a bottle of wine, both slightly tipsy. Li Baolong helped Zhou Jie to the sofa, poured her a glass of water, and then tidied up the dining room. Zhou Jie got up and said, "Little brother, I'm going to wash up. You watch TV and wait for me." Li Baolong watched Zhou Jie's alluring figure disappear from sight, wondering what was wrong with her today; she seemed to have endless things to say. Half an hour later, Zhou Jie called Li Baolong over. Li Baolong quickly got up and went over, pushing open the half-closed door to the room. He was immediately stunned. Zhou Jie was wearing a revealing and sexy halter dress, her ample breasts almost spilling out, and her long, snow-white legs. Zhou Jie hugged Li Baolong tightly and said, "Little brother Baolong, after we parted the other day, I missed you so much, you know?" Li Baolong felt Zhou Jie's tenderness and let her hands roam over his body. Then the two embraced tightly and kissed each other. Li Baolong nervously pushed her away and slowly said, "Sister Zhou Jie, this is my first time being so close to a man. I'm so nervous and shy." Zhou Jie said softly, "Hold me." The two of them were like dry tinder, intertwined. Eighteen-year-old Li Baolong had undergone his first transformation. Looking at Zhou Jie lying in his arms, Zhou Jie suddenly stroked Li Baolong's left arm and said, "Little brother, look, there's a pattern on your left arm, like a sword." Li Baolong was shocked and quickly got up, forgetting that he was naked. He ran to the mirror and saw that there was indeed a pattern on his left arm—a silver hairpin pattern. Li Baolong suddenly understood and was overjoyed. The silver hairpin he had been searching for had actually turned into a pattern. "What secret is there in this pattern?" Li Baolong wondered. Zhou Jie came over and hugged him, saying, "Baolong, what's wrong? What's on your mind?" Li Baolong quickly replied, "Nothing. Sister, you're not feeling well. Lie down quickly, I'll cook you something." The two spent a wonderful day together. Since they had that kind of relationship, Zhou Jie had grown to like Li Baolong more and more. Although she was a few years older than the man, she still had a little bit of expectation for this younger man.

The two spent another wonderful night together, embracing each other tenderly and reluctant to part. The next morning, Li Baolong got up to say goodbye, and Zhou Jie hugged him tightly, saying, "You are a new man now, no longer a boy. Remember that there is a woman who cares about you and is willing to stay with you for a lifetime."

Li Baolong stepped into his home and collapsed wearily onto the bed. In an instant, memories of his time with Zhou Jie flooded his mind. Zhou Jie was the love of his life; her captivating figure was like a graceful willow, every line radiating allure, and her tenderness was like a gentle stream, nourishing Li Baolong's heart. Every moment with her felt like being enveloped in a sweet vortex, overflowing with happiness. Immersed in these beautiful memories, Li Baolong gradually drifted off to sleep.

In the dead of night, Li Baolong suddenly awoke, a strange tremor surging through his soul, as if a mysterious force was urgently calling to him. He cautiously looked around, left and right, then examined the pattern on his left arm, finding nothing unusual. With a hint of doubt, he subconsciously touched his left arm with his right hand; instantly, everything went black.

In the darkness, a huge sphere suddenly appeared in his mind. The sphere exuded a mysterious aura, seemingly concealing something unknown. Li Baolong held his breath, too nervous to breathe. After a brief hesitation, he mustered his courage, slowly reached his right hand towards the sphere, grabbed a bottle, and swiftly pulled it out. In an instant, light returned, and he seemed to return from a dreamlike state to the real world.

Li Baolong stared at the exquisite jade bottle in his hand, his heart pounding. He knew perfectly well that this was no dream; the silver hairpin must have undergone some wondrous transformation. This new discovery filled him with elation. He was convinced that this silver hairpin was no ordinary object, and that it must hold some unknown secret, waiting for him to uncover it in the future.

Li Baolong went in and out of the space containing the pattern on his left arm several times, putting things in and taking them out. Gradually, his mental strength weakened, and he felt weak all over. He fell asleep in a daze.

One evening, Li Baolong went to his cousin Huang Jian's Honghong Dance Hall to see if his cousin was there, as his cousin and Sister Honghong hadn't been home for the past few days. Li Baolong entered the dance hall and saw it was bustling with people. He walked to the bar and saw Zhang Fang inside, so he greeted her. Zhang Fang, seeing Li Baolong, smiled and said, "Baolong, it's rare for you to come!" Li Baolong quickly replied, "I just started my vacation and came to check on things." "Isn't my cousin Huang Jian here?" Zhang Fang asked. "Huang Jian and Sister Honghong went to Chengdu to oversee the new store. I'm temporarily keeping things at home. These are mostly regular customers, and business is pretty stable."

Zhang Fang said, "Keep me company tonight, help me serve tea and water, and greet the guests. I'll treat you to a late-night snack after get off work." Li Baolong replied, "No need to be so polite, it's my duty to help you."

Li Baolong served tea and water, and brought beer and drinks to the guests in the private rooms, working busily for several hours.

After finishing get off work in the early hours of the morning, Li Baolong shyly took Zhang Fang's hand and walked down the street. The two ate a bowl of skewers and left satisfied. Li Baolong walked Zhang Fang back to her rented room. Just as Li Baolong was about to leave, Zhang Fang grabbed his arm, not wanting him to go, and asked him to stay with her a little longer. Li Baolong smiled and said, "Sister Zhang Fang, I really want to sleep. I'm tired from work today."

Zhang Fang, like a kitten, lightly nestled into Li Baolong's broad, warm embrace. She gently rested her head on his strong chest, whispering in a voice as soft as a mosquito's buzz, yet brimming with tenderness and affection, "Baolong, little brother, I suddenly realized today that you've become more and more handsome!" Hearing this, Li Baolong was slightly taken aback at first, then a bright smile spread across his lips as he replied, "Really? Hehe, I hadn't even noticed it myself!" As soon as he finished speaking, Zhang Fang raised her head, gazing tenderly at the man who had captivated her heart. Then, without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around Li Baolong's neck and gave him a long, passionate kiss. Li Baolong felt Zhang Fang's fiery passion (details omitted).

Li Baolong was about to invite Zhang Fang for a walk along the Tuojiang River, humming a song as he thought he'd enjoy the breeze with her. Zhang Fang softly replied, "Baolong, little brother, I can't stand the cold wind today. I'm on my period." Li Baolong quickly stood up. "You're on your period? Where are you? Why didn't you invite us to dinner tonight?" Zhang Fang chuckled. "You're such a silly little brother. Don't you understand women's matters?" Li Baolong suddenly realized, "I'm sorry, Sister Zhang Fang." After taking Zhang Fang home, Li Baolong went to a video arcade and watched videos all night.
