No matter the time, this city still retains a certain vibrancy.
The car drove through the crowd and passed a newly opened karaoke bar. Li Shuo looked up and found that the karaoke bar was not yet open for business. A strange woman dressed in a cheongsam and dressed in a fashionable style was directing several employees next to her to adjust her signboard.
The car continued forward and stopped at the traffic light, waiting for the tram to pass.
Just then, a newsboy was standing by the roadside, shouting out today's latest news.
Li Shuo noticed him and leaned out of the car window: "Hey, over here—"
Hearing the voice, the newsboy looked at Li Shuo and immediately ran over: "Sir, would you like a copy of today's newspaper?"
The bespectacled man driving the car was very perceptive; he immediately took out some money and handed it to the newsboy, saying, "Yes."
"Thanks!"
The newsboy handed over the newspaper, bowed respectfully to express his gratitude, and then ran off with the money.
Li Shuo unfolded the newspaper, looked at the familiar newspaper name and the unfamiliar reporter's name, and raised an eyebrow slightly.
Seeing this in the rearview mirror, the bespectacled man tentatively suggested, "Director Li, there have been some problems with procurement lately. If you need anything, I can place the latest newspapers on the upper right corner of your desk these next few days. Would that be alright?"
Li Shuo put away the newspaper, not refusing, but just casually humming in agreement.
The car continued forward, finally passing through a tight iron gate and entering the heart of the puppet regime.
Li Shuo's undercover work may have only just begun.
But he believed that dawn was not far off...
The door slowly closed, accompanied by the crisp sound of metal objects clashing, and the scene went completely dark.
The melodious and poignant end credits song slowly begins to play, and the characters from the past once again appear before the audience...

"Shining Stars" concluded its run with a finale rating of 2.8%.
There may have been many regrets along the way, but seeing the endings of several important characters has left everyone satisfied.
[Finale! Hooray!]
[Waaaaah, Bai Mingchuan and Qiu Rongyue didn't end up together! Seeing them calmly brush past each other after exchanging glances made me burst into tears—]
That's how things were back then. If they had been together, the story would have fallen into cliché. They became spiritual allies on each other's journeys, fighting for a shared belief, even dying for it. Isn't that the ultimate romance?
[The TV series "Shining Stars" is absolutely fantastic! Even I, who don't usually watch spy dramas, found it incredibly entertaining, especially the final mission. It was full of twists and turns, with various factions scheming against each other, a life-or-death struggle... I was on tenterhooks the whole time, and Li Shuo managed to survive and successfully clear his name. I truly admire him!]
To be honest, the plot twists weren't particularly mind-bending, but they were so captivating that you couldn't stop watching! I really have to thank the actors for that; their acting was superb, making the audience feel completely immersed and genuinely worried for their characters—oh, except for that one guy, though; every time I saw him, I just wanted Meng Zetian to kill him.
Haha, it's finally the finale! Don't blame me for venting!
